FonderChapter 21 | Closure
After three days since Joohyun left, Seulgi has been spending time working with Suji at Bae Motors’ headquarters. While Joohyun was president of the company, Suji had been the vice president so it is just fitting that she assisted her sister-in-law in a merger project.
“Seulgi, it’s been three days and you still haven’t gone back home. Are things between you and Joohyun-unnie alright?” Suji asks. She knows a little of the story from Rowoon.
“It’s hard to talk about it. I wouldn’t be able to sleep there knowing Joohyun isn’t sleeping beside me.” Seulgi says while she is still programming on some features that are needed for the project.

Jisoo looks up to Seulgi. She senses the urgency of this conversation. “What are you trying to say?” She asks to get to the point.
“Do you want to live with me? Maybe in Europe or somewhere in Australia?” Seulgi asks her girlfriend. She had been thinking about this for days because she’s going to graduate soon. She and Jisoo had been going steady already dating for two years now.
“Seulgi, I think we need to break up,” Jisoo says looking intently at Seulgi.
“Why?” Seulgi is shocked by the words that came out from Jisoo’s mouth. She expected some kind of rejection but not the possibility of breaking up. “If you don’t like to, you can just tell me. I won’t ask again.”
“I’m serious. I’ve been thinking about it lately. I don’t think it’s working out for us.” Jisoo continues her argument. “You’re going back to Korea after you graduate while I will still need to finish my senior year and continue my master’s after.”
“I’m not catching this, Jisoo. I can stay here with you. I can get a job. We can live together. I
