Sehun was resting his head on Kai's shoulder as the chauffeur drove them back home from the airport, he kept smiling and caressing his tummy from time to time. Kai looked at his direction with a smile. "It seems you're already in love with the baby." Sehun giggled.
"Yes, I am" he affirmed. Kai kissed the omega's temple. "Should I be jealous?" He joked "Nah. Don't be, because I love you more for now." "For now?" Kai quirked an eyebrow. Sehun giggled again.
"Yup, I don't know may be I will love the baby more than you when its born" Kai sehun's hair affectionately.
"I wouldn't mind, since it's our baby" Sehun smiled and that's how they arrived home exchanging sweet nothings. Mr and Mrs kim welcomed them by the door, the four exchanged hugs and pecks and just then Kai smelled him."Jin hyung?" He mumbled "Yes he came two nights ago," his father informed "he's done with his studies and will start working in Seoul general hospital next week in the special department and he'll be staying with us for the time being" Junmyeon explained. Kai grinned, he's happy to see his cousin again after so many years and as if on cue Jin came running and launched himself on Kai, the younger Alpha couldn't help but chuckle. "I missed you kid" Jin told him. "I miss you too grandpa" Kai said patting his cousin's back.They both laughed before pulling away simultaneously. Jin's eyes traveled towards Sehun, his breath got caught in his throat at the sight of the handsome omega in front of him. He gaped at Sehun with his mouth hanging open, drooling inwardly at the veiw.
Sehun smiled and Jin felt like the world has stopped for some seconds, he took closer steps to where the omega was standing, he extended his hand and was pleased– no very pleased when Sehun accepted it. " Kim Seokjin, but you can call me Jin" he introduced. "Oh-Kim Sehun." the omega said with a smile. "God, you're so beautiful" Jin voiced his thoughts and Sehun blushed a little. "Thanks– you're not bad yourself" "Oh, is that so?" He asked and Sehun nodded.
"I am glad to finally meet you Sehun, I will be staying here for quite some time and will love to get to know you more" Kai let out a small growl when he noticed Jin's been holding Sehun's hand longer than necessary, he stepped forward and  separated the two. Jin chuckled."God, Kai don't be possessive I know he's yours, if any thing the mark on his neck says it all" he patted Kai's shoulder "I just know how to appreciate beauty when I see one" he finished winking at the true born. Kai rolled his eyes and grabbed Sehun's wrist before pulling him along."we'll he down in few minutes" kai hollered, walking towards the stairs. "Wow, congratulations Kai, I am sure you baby will look so much like you" Jin said stopping Kai in his tracks. Kai turned around and gave his cousin a confused look "your omega is pregnant nah? I bet you already know about that, don't you?" He added. Kai chuckled "God I almost forgot about your powers" "Is that true?" Junmyeon asked with a wide smile. And Sehun shyly nodded. "Oh my God, this is wonderful" Mrs kim said pulling Sehun into her arms,  Sehun hugged her back, just then Luhan and Jongin descended the stairs. "Hunnie" Luhan shouted happily "you're back" He added running towards his brother, ignoring Jongin's scolds telling him to be careful, he literally pulled Sehun away from his mother's in-law arms before wrapping his own around his brother. "Sehun is pregnant" Mrs Kim told them. Luhan pulled away only to grin at his brother. "Holy heavens Sehun, this is a great news, congratulations" "And he'll be having a baby boy" Jin stated proudly. Luhan would grinned wider if he could "really?" "I am not sure" Sehun said as a matter-of-factly.  "Well, I am always sure. Pretty one" Jin said. "How accurate are your predictions?" Luhan asked "100%" Jongin told his mate. "Oh wow, that's good to know" Luhan chimed with another grin. "What about me,  what am I having, a boy or girl?" Jin stared at Luhan's tummy for a few seconds before he said."a boy as well". Luhan jumped and hug his brother again making everyone around to laugh at him. "Lunch is almost ready" Mrs Kim informed "you should freshen up before then"  Both Kai and Sehun nodded, they're about to walk up the stairs when Jongin stopped them.
"Congratulations, I am happy for you both" they turned simultaneously to look at him, he was smiling so bright, so sincere that the others couldn't help but smile back at him. "Thank you" they both said in unison. Jongin nodded and gestured for them to carry on.   They were in the shower when Sehun decided to ask about Seokjin, he felt the undeniable curiosity about the other."What is Jin like? I mean how does his power work?" Kai stilled and gave his omega an unreadable look before his face changed into a smile "why are you asking?" "Just curious, I just want to know more about him" Sehun replied truthfully. "Well" Kai cleared his throat "he has this affect on people, he's a nice person, very nice if I  may add. He's kind, helpful and will never do anything intentional to hurt someone, he's a jokey  and jovial person."Kai paused momentarily and Sehun hummed. "his father was my dad's elder brother, but he died when Jin was in highschool, he stayed with us back then before moving to Florida a year later with his mom, his powers have something to do with healing, diagnostic– I don't know much about that though, may be you should ask him yourself, but all I know it's somehow similar to Jongin's and that's why he became a doctor." Kai finished as he helped Sehun to rinse his body. "How old is he?" "23" "Okay, I should call him hyung then?" Kai nodded at that. They didn't exchange another word afterwards, both dressed in comfortable clothes before exiting their bedroom and headed to the dinning room.  Everyone was seated obviously waiting for them to show up, Sehun bowed politely at them all. Jin has been smiling the moment he sighted the two descending the stairs."You look even more prettier after freshened up," he said pointing towards Sehun the moment they stood in the dinning room."and very well mannered" he added. One thing Sehun had learned about Jin so far was that the alpha was an open and straight forward person. Sehun rolled his eyes and took his  before he gestured Kai to sit down. Kai gave a curt nod and was about to sit when the others noticed something, he's now wearing a simple shirt that exposed his neck, the mark Sehun left was visible to everyone, they all gasped eyes going wide as they looked at the bite mark with shock."Kai what is this?" Junmyeon asked pointing at his exposed neck. "A mating mark, isn't it obvious?" He said finally taking his seat, he's ready to argue with anyone who's not okay with him wearing Sehun's mark, even if that person was his father. He knew they'll definitely talk about the bite mark and he's ready for that, if it meant having his omega's mark on him Kai will gladly do anything. "Kai what have you done?" Junmyeon asked again. Kai gave his father an unimpressed look "what?" "Your neck. Did you allow sehuyn to mark you? You know is against the ru–" "Dad" Kai called firmly. "I know that, it's just that I don't care about those rules, if I can mark him, and if every other omega can mark their Alphas, I see no reason why he can't mark me, I am his mate, his husband and I love him enough to know that it will not destroy me " he told him loud and clear. Junmyeon took a deep breath "I get it" was all he said before turning his attention back to his food, Mrs Kim was about to say something but Junmyeon shot her a look and she instantly shut . They didn't talk about it again, everyone concentrated on their food, Sehun was a bit uncomfortable, Kai noticed and placed his hand on his omega's.
 It's okay, everything will be alright. Kai said to him.  I hope so, I don't want them to be mad at me.  They won't. I am sure it's nothing serious since dad didn't drag the issue further, i won't let anyone blame you on this, it's my choice to wear your mark. So relax okay?  Okay, I love you kai  I love you more baby. Sehun smiled after that and turned his attention back to his food, he was about to start eating when Jin spoke. "I heard that Jongin used to me your boyfriend. If I were him, I wouldn't have never let such perfect piece of art slip away from my grasp" he said breaking the silence, not missing the way Jongin glared at him. "Well too bad you're not me hyung,"Jongin accepted the challenge. "because you'll be leaving behind a lovely sweet omega like Luhan." he retorted. Sehun's eyes widen a little, he never expected Jongin to be so protective of his brother– don't get him wrong he only widened his eyes in surprise and happy at same time for Luhan for finally having a space in Jongin's heart. Kai clicked his tongue. "Well, my Sehun here is the most lovely and the most beautiful omega ever." he joined the conversation confidently. "I agree" Jin responded quickly.

The elders looked between them wordlessly.

"Nah, my Luhan is the most, most, wonderful, beautiful omega in the whole world– and he's very good in bed." Jongin said proudly. Luhan choked on his food, he gave Jongin a light smack on the head making the others to laugh. Sehun shook his head with a smile and cleared his throat before he said "Kai please pass me the salt" Kai was about to grab the salt container but Jin beat him to it as he hurriedly extended his hand, grabbed the salt before passing it over to Sehun with a grin. Sehun shook his head and smile again before accepting it. Kai gave Jin an impressed look, he opened his mouth to say something but decided against it. And simply kept his mouth shut. The table went silent after that. Jin will occasionally steal a glance at Sehun and that didn't go unnotice by the true born Alpha, he know Jin was a good man, and would never do anything abominable towards his mate(Sehun) but still he couldn't help the possessiveness rising in his gut, After the lunch, Junmyeon called Kai to discuss about the meeting the young Alpha attended in busan.Jongin and Luhan went for shopping and Sehun found himself sitting in the living room with a grinning Jin by his side. "Stop grinning like an idiot" Sehun joked with a giggle. He couldn't help but laugh at the alpha who couldn't close his 32 teeth just because he's sitting by his side. Jin shook his head still grinning like a stubborn six year old "Nuh-uh, I like being around you, so pardon me if I couldn't hide my excitement." Sehun laughed at that.
"What?Why me?" He was truly amused by the other. "I don't know, may be because I find you pretty intriguing perhaps." "Oh yeah?" "Yup" he did the grinning again. Sehun hummed before he said "tell me about yourself hyung" "What do you want to know about me?" "Anything or everything if you don't mind." "No, not at all– well there is nothing interesting to know about me, but if you insist–" "Yeah, I insist" Sehun said with a small smile. He didn't know why he felt the urge to know about the alpha in his front. "Okay" Jin cleared his throat, "you know my name, I am your husband's cousin–"  "I know that" "Okay, my dad is dead–" "That I know too" "Hmm, I stayed with my mom in Florida,  I am medical graduate–" "Sorry to cut you off again but I do know that as well" "Oh wow, so what is it you don't know about me?"
Sehun giggled and Jin found it melodious whenever the omega did that. "You sound like him" Jin suddenly said. Sehun furrowed his brows in confusion "like who?" Jin was silent for a while before he said "my mate." "Oh, you have a mate?" Jin nodded "had– he's– he died." Sehun placed his hand on the alpha's larger one and gave it a gentle squeeze."I am sorry about your mate." Jin offered a sad smile.
"Thank you" "Tell me more about him– I mean if you don't mind and you're comfortable talking about it." "Of course I don't mind, I know it's painful but I won't mind telling you about him" Sehun nodded encouraging the alpha to carry on."He's the most beautiful person I've ever seen." Jin started.  "Prettier than me?" Sehun joked "Of course, but you're the second most prettiest I've met" Sehun hummed, satisfied with Jin's answer. "We met three years back, when I was in my third year in med school, he was a freshman then. I fell in love without even knowing he's my true mate, we mated a year later and he got pregnant the first month into our marriage–" Jin smiled as he reminisced the moment, then his smile died down, now be has a sad expression on his face.
"It was a snowing day on 5th December a day after my birthday we were in New York for vacation and decided to go for a walk, he was heavily pregnant, in his last terimister when they attacked us– he was stabbed in the stomach, I begged them to let him live, to let me save him, but–"  Sehun squeezed his hand tighter when he noticed the alpha's trembling."you don't have to continue if–" "Then one of them bared his fangs and shove it into my mate's neck,  I tried to transform but they were so strong and they held me to the ground as I watched him my mate's dry in front of my eyes, he didn't stop until my mate was not struggling anymore, I – I couldn't save him, but the baby survived, I was able to save my son. My mom and I raised him together." Jin finished with a shaky breath. "Vampires?" Sehun asked eyes going wide "They're real?" Jin nodded "I wouldn't believe it either if i didn't see them myself, but they don't reside in asia, none I've heard of anyway." "Oh my God, I am so sorry hyung" Sehun pulled Jin into his arms, he kept rubbing the Alpha's back soothingly."What was his name?"
