Present

The black car of Alpha's arrived discreetly in front of Seunghyun's cottage house. The assassins slip out of the car smoothly. Sohee, aka Aphrodite

nudged Yoobin who sat rigidly facing the front. "Athena, let's go." Aphrodite whispered.

Athena sniffed and a tear rolled down her face. "I can't do this." She whispered, her voice low. 

Aphrodite sympathetically holds her hand. "Your dad. You must." She reminds her sternly.

Athena stared at Aphrodite, her eyes bloodshot. "I can't live with this lie." She said weakly. Her burning heart thuds painfully.

Aphrodite, whose looks deceives many by thinking she's dumb, grips Athena's arms tightly. "I have a plan."

Seunghyun sits on his bed restlessly. Gun in hand. He won't make Yoobin choose between him or her father. No. Impossible. He-has to die. No

choice. He runs his hand through his hair. His throat dry. Suddenly he hears cars stopping in front of his house. Naturally, he slips under the bed. His

loaded gun by his side. He stops and listens to the silence. His heart thumping as music. He scoffs at their not-so-discreet gathering at his front door.

Let's get over this, Yoobin.On three, one two three. His front door burst open. He holds his breath.

Yoobin stalks into his house , her heeled boots heard loud and clear. Gun poised and held tightly in hand. Her long hair covering her face. She turns

to Seunghyun's room, signalling the rest to check the house. They enter his room, all neat and organized. Yoobin  her lips, her guts twisting

nervously. Please don't let him be in there. The group comes out, shaking their heads. Yoobin lets out a relief sigh mentally. She frowns in pretense

and huffs angrily. Then commands them to move out. They did as told and exit hurriedly. She lowers her gun and enters his room. She felt the

familiarity tugs at her heart. She could practically smell his presence.

"Seunghyun-ah, come out." She whispers. Urgency heavy in her voice.

Seunghyun cringes painfully upon hearing Yoobin's voice. He steels himself and shuts his eyes, replaying her husky voice in his head.

"Oppa, jebal..." Her voice cracking.

There was a pregnant pause. His heart softens. She knows that he's here. Without realising, he slips out from under the bed. Yoobin's face pales.

Seunghyun's heart stops beating. She looks gorgeous. The last time he saw her, she was just 17. And now, her hair is loose on her shoulder. A gun

held tight in her black leather gloves. He takes a step towards her. She raises her gun. He gasps. 

"I'm so sorry." She whispers and pulls the trigger.
