“I need to wake up..”

“But it’s still 6 a.m in the morning.”

Mo Yeon already woke up since twenty minutes ago but she’s still safely and comfortably wrapped within her boyfriend’s embrace.

“Si Jin-ah..pleasee, i have to move..” Mo Yeon speaks louder to the man who’s currently still so sleepy to process everything.

“But we are going to Seoul in the evening..urghh why do you want to wake up now? does the bed not comfy enough for you? c’mon let’s sleep again.”

He snuggles closer to his girlfriend who’s now still can’t resist it.

“Yes i know, but i still have a meeting, it’s an important one, that’s why i have to get up, NOW!”

Si Jin opens his eyes widely and looks at his girlfriend.

“But you said you take a day off, then why should you go to your office?”

“Yes i will take a day off, but not today, i’m planning to do that on monday.”

Mo Yeon then manages to get up however she could hear her boyfriend loud groan, which for her it’s kinda cute. Then she runs her hand through his messy hair.

“If you still sleepy, you can go to sleep again, it’s still so early for you, and i will go with Young Jae anyway.”

“But..babyyy, i want to sleep with you, not alone like this.” He pouts.

“Wait, since when you call me with that word?”

“Which one? baby? I don’t know, i’m just feeling like to call you with that one.”

She rolls her eyes and decides to walk out of her room and go to the kitchen, and in less than 10 seconds, Yoo Si Jin who is still a bit sleepy follows her immediately.

“I told you to just go back to sleep, i will leave the breakfast in the fridge so you can reheat it again.”

She’s speaking to him without making an eye contact, while she’s busy preparing something for their breakfast.

A hot bowl of rice with egg and kimchi is perfect.

She thought.

Just when she’s about to take out the egg, a strong pair of arms wrapped her waist and pull her closer.

“Ommoo..”

“How can i sleep when you will make me a delicious warm breakfast?” He kisses her neck and inhales her sweet morning scent.

Mo Yeon shakes her head after seeing her boyfriend’s antics.

“Delicious warm breakfast? i’m just making rice and egg with some leftover kimchi from the fridge.”

“But you are a great cook baby, anything you make is beyond delicious for me.”

“Aish this man, stop giving me that so over the top praises, anddd..”

She turns around and squeezed the tip of his nose gently.

“And stop calling me baby, it’s weird when i heard you saying that.”

“But why? a couple should address each other’s with a cute nickname, and that’s what we are doing.”

“Urghh, it’s just, i mean remember when we just started our relationship and i suggested the same thing to you and you just laughed then told me it was childish, so since then i know you don’t like that kind of lovey-dovey stuff, and hearing this from you right now, i don’t know Si Jin-ah..it’s just weird.”

Si Jin is taken aback by Mo Yeon’s answer. Although she said that in the most nonchalant way, but for him it feels like a punch right to his heart.

It makes him realizes that he was a really really bad boyfriend back in that day.

After she’s done with cooking, she starts to prepare the table, with Si Jin’s help, and she notices that he’s quieter now.

“Si Jin-ah..what’s wrong? Did i say something wrong?”

Si Jin shakes his head.

“Did you regret being in a relationship with me, Mo Yeon-ah? I’m sorry, but what you said earlier really make me realize how bad i was as a boyfriend, you showed me your love and attention but at that time i just…”

He hasn’t finished his words when Mo Yeon gives him a chaste kiss and he looks at her with wide eyes.

“What..what are you doing?”

“I’m shutting your mouth in a y way. You can try talking again.”

Si Jin’s ears turn red over his girlfriend’s boldness.

“But i..”

Mo Yeon quickly gives him another kiss, this time quiet longer, then when she ends it she stares at him.

“I know what you are thinking and i’m sorry if you feel some sort of guilt because of that, i don’t mean to. I like this newly improved Yoo Si Jin, but it doesn’t mean i hate the old cold Yoo Si Jin, i feel in love with you even when you were like that and i don’t regret those precious six years we’ve spent together, yes maybe i don’t like some of it but never in my life i regret being in relationship with you.”

She smiles at him tenderly and held his hands.

“That’s why Si Jin-ah, i want us to learn together from our past and i want our relationship to work for both of us and Hee Jin.”

Si Jin looks hesintante to ask something, but he decides to tell anyway.

“So…i can still call you ‘baby’?”

“Mwoo?”

“I mean you didn’t say anything about should i or should i not calling you that, you gave me a perfect reason and conclusion about one topic but for this ‘how to address your partner’s nickname’ issue, i haven’t heard any conclusion for that, so it means i still can call you with that word right?”

Seriously does this man think i just made a scientific research speech or what?

“Arghh mwolla, seriously, you made me thinking i just did a speech for a research paper! i can’t believe i fall for you and your brain.”

Si Jin laughs because seeing Mo Yeon getting irritated by the way he thinks has always been entertaining for him.

“Aigooo, baby..so cute.”

“Stopp it! It’s weirddd!!”

“Nope, it’s not i will call you so many times until you get used to it, baby baby baby baby baby babyyyy..”

“Stoppp, stopp it we are already in our thirties!!”

“Baby baby babyyyy umpppphhh”

Mo Yeon puts her hands on Si Jin’s mouth, trying to stop him, and later both of them are laughing at their silliness.

“Kang Mo Yeon! Who’s that handsome yet cute boy at the hall? is he your dongsaeng?”

Min Ji and Ye ri, Mo Yeon’s colleagues are coming to her table and both of them are giggling after seeing the handsome figure who’s waiting for her.

“Ommoo, i thought Lee Young Jae is the most handsome one, but that boy over there just manage to win my heart.”

“Yaaaa Jung Ye Ri! How come you are talking about someone when the person is here! I’m hurttt”

Lee Young Jae who’s helping Mo Yeon with some of her paperwork touches the side of his chest mimicking someone who’s hurt.

“But seriously Mo Yeon-ah who’s that namja? we came to him to ask him who’s he waiting for and he said with his y deep voice, ‘Kang Mo Yeon’ ommoo i’m getting goosebumps!”

Min Ji is so excited to know who’s the man that’s been waiting for her friend since an hour ago, then Young Jae who already knew who that man is, nudges her right elbow signaling Mo Yeon to tell them. And Mo Yeon decided to spill the beans before both of her friends could fall head over hills with that man.

“Tsk..arraa, he’s Yoo Si Jin..”

While Ye Ri looks confused because she doesn’t know who is he, meanwhile Min Ji let a loud gasp.

“OMOO KANG MO YEON THAT MAN IS YOUR BABY DADDY!”

Mo Yeon swear she almost faints hearing Min Ji’s loud voice that could be heard throughout the entire office, and in seconds some people already look at their direction, thankfully it’s a lunchtime so there are not many left in their office especially after the weekly meeting.
