Mo Yeon looks at her phone with wide eyes,

“Nugu?”

Si Jin stands up from the bed and sees the caller ID.

“It’s..it’s Myeong Ju..”

Mo Yeon gulps, she just remembers that she hasn’t updated her best friend about her current “status” with Si Jin, because usually, she likes to consult to her best friend about this, however, since Myeong Ju is at her second trimester and she basically doesn’t want to worry her, she decided to keep silent until everything’s working between her and Si Jin.

“It’s okay, just answer, i’ll just stand silently here..”

Si Jin grabs Mo Yeon’s waist and starts kissing her shoulder gently, Mo Yeon looks at her man with disbelief, she automatically moves her body away from him, and of course, he pouts.

He’s unbelievable!

“It’s a video call Si Jin-ah, i think Hee Jin has already arrived in Myeong Ju’s house because she told me she will do this once our daughter has arrived.”

“Then, just show her that you and i already back together, i mean Hee Jin must be missing us badly, she wants to see her mom and dad also.”

“It’s not like that, i want to tell her, but it’s better i wait until tomorrow, i don’t think it’s good to tell her via a video call, i’m planning to tell her tomorrow when i meet her face to face.”

Mo Yeon tries to explain what she’s been planning to Si Jin, and thankfully he understands her point of view, he also doesn’t want his girlfriend to have any sort of problem with Myeong Ju because of him.

“Araa…i’ll just sit here, SILENTLY, and you can point out the phone to your direction, i want to hear my daughter’s voice okayy?”

Si Jin sits on the edge of Mo Yeon’s bed, and Mo Yeon smiles hearing his cute request.

“Okay, just don’t make any noise.”

SI Jin nods and after that Mo Yeon presses the answer button.

She’s welcomed by a cheerful face of her daughter and a bit chubbier Yoon Myeong Ju, Mo Yeon’s heart warms when she sees these two girls, and she’s very happy to see how glowing her best friend is, the last time they met was a week before Si Jin suddenly came back to her life, and at that time Myeong Ju’s pregnancy wasn’t showing yet, besides the terrible morning sickness that she had, it wasn’t shown that Myeong Ju was pregnant unless if she told you so.

But now, she’s entering her fifth month, and just by a slight glance, pregnancy looks so well with Myeong Ju.

Or maybe Dae Young takes care of her really well. Mo Yeon thought.

“I thought you are not on your phone!”

“EOMMMMAAAA!”

The two of them speaks in almost same timings and make Mo Yeon chuckles.

“Sorry, i’m taking care of something first, so i can’t reach my phone as fast as i want to.”

“It’s alright, anywayyyy just want to inform you that this little lady here has arrived, and she already took a warm bath with her favorite imoo!”

Myeong Ju plays with Hee Jin’s hair and the child giggles.

“Uaaa that’s amazing, so Hee Jin-ah, how was your trip with Dae Young Samchon?”

“Eommaaaa, samchon and Hee Jin is on tlaiiinn, it was fastt eomaa, and a lot of pepplle inside tlaiiin!”

She explains with so much of enthusiasm, and it makes Si Jin smiles widely upon hearing his child’s voice.

“Hahhaa, Dae Young told me that she likes to ask a lot of stuff while they’re on the train and then she slept for an hour before arriving in Seoul, basically the whole journey only filled with questions and sleep.”

Myeong Ju explains to Mo Yeon.

“Well, that’s traveling with Hee Jin is all about, anyway where’s Dae Young? he must be tired traveling alone with a very talkative child.”

“He’s with his laptop outside, still doing some paperwork after his meeting, he told me it was tiring but worth it, since we are going to have our own child in few months so he said it’s some sort of training for him.”

“Eommaaa, is eomma coming with appa tomoolllow?”

Hee Jin suddenly cuts their conversation, and Mo Yeon’s body suddenly feels stiff when she sees the change in Myeong Ju’s face.
