"Baekhyun!",Jongdae barged into the apartment and with just that Baekhyun knows exactly how Jongdae's and Minseok's little date went, "You are the best love god in the entire world",

Despite how he was feeling, Baekhyun couldn't help but crack a smile.

"Aphrodite would be quite offended if she heard that",

"I said god not goddess",

"Fair enough",

"But Baekhyun...you were right",

"When am I not?",

"We just clicked!", Jongdae plopped down next to Baekhyun as he smiled up at the ceiling, "He was so cute and funny and sweet and he just understood me and I felt like I could talk to him for hours...it was like...like-",

"Like he was your other half", Baekhyun said quietly.

Jongdae smiled softly to himself.

"Yeah...exactly. I mean he's three years older than me which surprised the crap out of me because I for sure thought he'd be a year or so younger. He's really witty and although he really likes awful dad jokes I can't help but smile whenever he tells them because he's so proud of himself. Also we took a walk around so we could talk some more and we talked about cats and apparently he was scared of them because of a bad experience but after he got one he got over it. I told him about Noodle and he says we should arrange a play date but god Baekhyun...I'm going crazy, if my heart was pounding out of nerves before, now it's just fluttering. I feel so lame and stupid but he's just...",

"Wonderful", Baekhyun supplied softly.

"Yes! You know, he kind of drives me crazy, but in a really good way, he's a bit playful also we like a lot of the same stuff and foods. Oh-",

Baekhyun yawned loudly making Jongdae stop.

"I'm so proud and happy for you Jongdae, but I'm a bit tired right now", Baekhyun told him,"You were gone quite awhile, it's almost time for me to take a nap",

Jongdae looked at the time and realized he was right.

"Okay, but before you go to sleep I just want to say thank you", Jongdae told Baekhyun, a big smile on his face, his eyes shining. "Really"

Baekhyun smiled back at him.

"It's my job",

"Still. You take a nap, I'm going to get us some food, okay?",

Baekhyun merely nodded and let the small smile on his face drop when Jongdae left.

He was happy for Jongdae, he was happy Jongdae was so happy, even if it was with Minseok.

 At least that's what Baekhyun convinced himself of.

That night, Baekhyun didn't feel like sleeping on the couch, he didn't like the loneliness, the cold that wouldn't go away even when he asked for an extra blanket from Jongdae.

He tossed and turned.

Jongdae had finished telling him about his date with Minseok, and how Minseok had seemed just as charmed with Jongdae as Jongdae was charmed with Minseok. Baekhyun had simply made approving noises as he ate, not trusting himself to say anything and not sound like a bitter jerk.

Minseok this, Minseok that, Baekhyun knew Minseok was a good guy, he never would've set up Jongdae with someone who was anything but good for him, but still he was irked with all the Minseok talk.

 Baekhyun knocked lightly on Jongdae's door, having got up from the couch realizing he'd never get sleep there that night. He opened it slightly and peeked in, Jongdae was already asleep in bed.

Baekhyun made his way over poking Jongdae's cheek.

"Jongdae", Baekhyun whispered.

Jongdae made a noise that sound like 'Hm?'

"Can I sleep here?",

"Why?",Jongdae mumbled, his voice soft and sleepy, eyes still closed.

"I'm cold", Baekhyun told him.

"I gave you two blankets",Jongdae rolled on his side.

"Please", Baekhyun poked his cheek again a few more times.

Jongdae sighed and nodded.

Baekhyun cracked a smile making his way into the bed.

As he lied down next to Jongdae, Jongdae muttered something about him staying on his side and not snore.

Baekhyun chuckled.

"Trust me, if anyone's snoring it's you. I can hear it all the way from the living room",

Jongdae kicked him making Baekhyun laugh quietly but he feels less cold here. He feels warm, cozy, and at peace.

He closed his eyes and let himself fall asleep.

When Jongdae wakes up he finds Baekhyun cuddle up into his side, Jongdae shakes his head at him.

The first thing I tell him and the first thing he does, typical, Jongdae thought before looking down at the sleeping god.

He seemed at peace, his brown hair tousled around, softly falling across his forehead, Jongdae lightly moved some strands away from his eyes. He was cute asleep, calm and sweet, Jongdae thought.

He remembered when Baekhyun first came to his life, he ended up sitting on this same bed, and Jongdae thought he was losing his mind. He laughed quietly to himself remembering that day.

Baekhyun's lips parted as he breathed softly, Jongdae started to move away, he was going to let him sleep longer meanwhile he would cook a breakfast for the both of them.

But as Jongdae edged away, Baekhyun's arm and leg crossed over Jongdae's body and pulled him closer. He nuzzled his face into Jongdae's side.

"Don't leave", he mumbled sleepily.

Jongdae's heart jumped, he wasn't exactly used to this, sure they cuddled on the couch sometimes but that was different.

"Um...Baek...I have to get up",

Baekhyun didn't seem to hear him, still fast asleep.

Well, if he's asleep he can't really hold me down, Jongdae thought as he tried pulling away again but Baekhyun's hold was tight and strong.

When the hell did he get so strong-?!...He's a god of course he's got these kinds of powers too,Jongdae sighed.

"Baekhyun, let me get up",Jongdae told him.

Baekhyun shook his head.

"Don't leave me",He muttered.

"I just wanna eat some toast or something. Aren't you hungry?",

"Don't leave", Baekhyun simply mumbled again.

Okay, he's clearly still asleep.

"Baekhyun if you don't wake up and let me go right now, I will yell in your face",

Baekhyun didn't budge.

"Fine", Jongdae huffed,"You asked for this",

Clearing his throat, Jongdae let out a screech making Baekhyun's eyes shoot open but once he saw the position he was in he pushed Jongdae away from him...and off the bed.

"Ow! What the hell?!",Jongdae sat up from the floor and glared at Baekhyun.

Baekhyun frowned at him.

"What?! You yelled in my face!",He said defensively.

"Only because you wouldn't let me go!",

Baekhyun's face grew a bit warm as he scoffed.

"There's a nice way of telling me to let go",

"I tried! You wouldn't let me leave",Jongdae told him.

Baekhyun crossed his arms.

"Well, you should've known I'm a cuddly sleeper",

"Well, you should've told me",

"Well, you should've asked",

"Well-...whatever",Jongdae got up off the floor and pulled the sheets off of Baekhyun who whined at the sudden cold,"Get off I'm going to make my bed",

"But I wanted to sleep longer",

Jongdae sighed but gave him back the sheets and Baekhyun rolled himself up in them.

"You know I never asked",

Baekhyun looked at Jongdae.

"How old are you?",

Baekhyun raised an eyebrow.

"Why do you wanna know? Are you gonna call me old or ancient when I tell you?",

"Are you really that old?",Jongdae's eyes widened.

"I happen to be one of the younger gods, but yes I am pretty old",

"Like grandpa type of old?",Jongdae teased.

Baekhyun throws a pillow at him, but Jongdae dodges it.

"You'll never know",

Jongdae left and Baekhyun fell back comfortably in the bed.

The loneliness was back again, as well as the cold, but still Baekhyun rolled to his side and tried to fall back asleep. Trying to remember the warmth that was Jongdae's body next to his.
