Chapter 7 - Sehun finds motivation 

"This is becoming a very bad habit." Ara blinked her eyes open, genuinely startled when Sehun's face came into view, a deep frown on his face. "There are different ways to get attention, you know." Trust Sehun to be completely blunt. 

"I'm not asking for attention," Ara muttered, sitting up against the headboard. Her head started throbbing, and she winced, pressing a hand to her temple. Sehun was sitting on a chair next to the bed, arms crossed over his chest. 

"What happened in there?" Ara knew he was talking about the lavatories, and she could vaguely remember the sound of glass shattering, but she wasn't sure what it was, barely able to remember it. "Everyone was talking about broken mirrors and stuff, I checked when I took a little break earlier. Nasty stuff." Had Ara done that? 

"Did someone break the mirrors?"

"There's a reason why I'm asking you about it," Sehun said, suddenly very serious. "You're radiating different light, I can sense something completely new on you, in addition to confusion and slight fear."

"You can sense emotions?" Ara was genuinely surprised.

"Yeah, we can feel and sometimes smell emotions, we can hear almost everything except from thoughts, and yes, we're fast and strong."

Sehun sighed and ran a hand through his blonde hair. It looked fluffy, moving into his eyes, and Ara felt the urge to reach out and touch it.

"You said that you don't have any powers, but the broken glass in the lavatories begs to differ. Sure, there are rumors about delinquents from another school breaking in and vandalizing the restroom, but I didn't sense anyone else's presence besides the regular students, so I know that theory isn't valid. So, come on now, tell me." 

"I don't know what happened," Ara whispered, and she looked down at her hands, remembering how she had on instinct pressed her palms outwards, as if she was aiming at something.

The only thing that had been in front of her were the mirrors, Ara realized, feeling goosebumps rise over her skin. Sehun shifted in his chair, arching an eyebrow, and Ara realized he must have sensed her get startled. 

"What?" 

"I-I think I broke the mirrors," Ara whispered, looking over at Sehun with wide eyes. Sehun blinked in shock, biting his lower lip. 

"Holy -"

"But I don't know how I did it," Ara quickly interrupted, turning fully so her legs were dangling off the side of the bed. Sehun frowned, taking in
