The day before we had been busy shopping just as always but today was a different thing. We were in the car and heading to Disneyland! Taeri who had been most excited about this part of the trip couldn’t stop bouncing in her seat. Soobin, Hyun-na and Donghae were fast asleep, all tired from the travelling. With Taeri almost ignoring me, I was left with Hyukjae oppa alone. The two of us sat side by side, not speaking a word for the past one hour.

As I was getting bored, I felt something poking at my hand. I looked down to find Hyukjae oppa’s hand near mine. I moved it and watched as he took a peek at where my hand was before trying again. Angry at him, I grabbed his hand and shoved it in his face.

“Stop it. You are irritating me,”I hissed, almost throwing his hand and it hit the window of the car.

Startled by the loud thud, Taeri jumped and looked at us.

“What’s going on?”Donghae asked as he sat up.

“Nothing,”Hyukjae oppa replied.

As soon as the peace came back, Hyukjae oppa grabbed my hand and I tried to twist my hand to get it out of his grip to no avail.

“Stop it. You are irritating me,”he hissed back.

“What are you talking about? You’re the one being irritating. Let go of my hand,”I glared.

“No, I will not so stop squirming,”he held it even tighter.

“Let go,”I began to hitting him with my other hand.

“You think you’re so strong, huh?”he smirked, grabbing my other hand easily.

With both my hands being held by his, I was forced to look him in the eye as I tried to retaliate. Being very amused by my antics, Hyukjae oppa couldn’t help but let out a smile.

“You know, you’re still very cute and silly,”he commented.

“Shut up,”I was blushing.

“Geez, I forgot how cute you are when you blush,”he gave me a silly grin.

When he let go of my hands, I thought I had a chance of taking my revenge but I was terribly wrong. The next thing I knew, he had his palm on the back of my neck, pushing me towards him. My lips landed right on top of his and my eyes widened from the shock. I pushed him away and he started chuckling to himself.

“What are you two doing?”Taeri asked.

“Nothing!”I yelled, embarrassed at what just happened.

She raised an eyebrow and looked away, continuing to bounce in her seat, all excited. I turned to glance at Hyukjae oppa to find him winking at me.

“Missed my lips?”he mouthed.

“YOU!”I glared at him.

“Aigoo, how cute,”he reached out to pinch my nose and I couldn’t help but blush again.

His teasing were coming to no end and I couldn’t quite counter it. His teasing made my heart warm, thinking about how he used to tease me back then. I was trying really hard not to get flustered by it.

“WE ARE HERE!”Taeri clapped loudly.

Awakening everyone from their sleep or in my case, train of thoughts, I looked around to see that we have indeed arrived. When we finally got off the car, I stretched. I had gotten stiff during the car ride.

“Alright, who’s taking care of Haemin? We all know she’s hopeless with theme parks. So, who’s willing to give DISNEYLAND up to walk around with her?”Taeri asked everyone.

“Hopeless with theme parks?”Donghae raised an eyebrow, not knowing what she was talking about.

“Haemin can’t take rides and is afraid of mascots. I’m taking care of her. You all have fun,”Hyukjae oppa smiled.

“Good! Thanks, Hyukjae! You really are the best!”Taeri grinned.

“But…I’m not good with rides either,”Donghae tried to back out.

“Hey, this is DISNEYLAND we’re talking about. You can’t pass up this chance. Just go for the ride and die,”Taeri was getting impatient.

“Watch your mouth, stupid,”I glared at her.

“I kinda agree with Taeri. You should…man up abit,”Hyun-na commented.

“Don’t be such a wimp. Let’s go!”Soobin was eager to get everyone away from Hyukjae oppa and me.

“Actually, we can all go together!”I suggested, not wanting to be alone with Hyukjae oppa.

“And what? You won’t even take the carousel, let alone the roller coasters. Forget it, Haemin. I’ve known you for years!”Taeri rolled her eyes.

“Alright, we should go now! Bye, Haemin! Bye, Hyukjae! We’ll meet you both here at 10.30pm! Have lunch and dinner yourselves okay!”Soobin interrupted.

With much protest, they pulled Donghae along and managed to get away from us alone.

“Let’s go!”Hyukjae oppa grabbed my hand, pulling me to a retail store.

“What are you doing?! Let go of me!”I was exasperated.

“It’s been so long since we’ve been to a theme park! Our last time was Everland which was years ago!”he said excitedly as he picked up hairbands with a pair of rabbit ears.

“That’s because I hate theme parks,”I sighed.

“We did enjoy ourselves at Lotte World and Everland. Although we didn’t go for any of the rides, it was still so beautiful at night, don’t you agree?”he said as he helped me wear one of the hair bands.

“We have one of those at home already. I don’t want to buy another,”I lied, since I wanted one yet I didn’t quite want him to buy it for me.

“Why didn’t you pack it in your luggage then?”Hyukjae oppa questioned.

“It’s at your apartment so you should have packed it in!”I argued.

“Ohhh, is that it? You could have called me up to check whether I brought it,”he replied.

“You should have the sense of bringing it along! You know the itinerary!”I retorted.

“So, you really wanted to use our old hair bands?”he asked.

“I didn’t say that!”I replied hurriedly, realizing where this was heading to.

Hyukjae oppa simply nodded his head as he took the hairband from my head and placed it back on the racks.

“Why are you putting it back?”I asked stupidly.

“You said you didn’t want to buy another one,”he answered.

“Right…,”I bit back a sigh, disappointed that I wouldn’t be wearing a pair of rabbit ears around Disneyland.

Hyukjae oppa chuckled and opened his bag, rummaging through it. He pulled out two hairbands with rabbit ears and my eyes widened. Those were the ones we bought in Lotte World! We brought it along to Everland as well as to karaokes!

“You really thought I’m that stupid to leave it back in Seoul?”he said as he helped me wear the pink ones.

I was rendered speechless as I looked at the hairband that held many memories. I turned to look at Hyukjae oppa who was wearing the white one and arranging his fringe while looking at the mirror.

“Ready to go?”he asked.
