Chapter Five
Undercover
Junghee rose up from the bedside after staying near by Somin; her body firm up after three hours of nervousness and worry strained her so she decided to go out the nurse’s office to stretch. She walked out of the door and a slap welcomed her, taken aback; she felt the warmth still roaming among her cheek. Mothers scatters from all angles like vultures surrounding her, screaming at her. “Mrs. Yung!!” Jungkook rushes over to protect Junghee.
“How dare you to hurt my daughter! You should be punished, ssang-nyeon.” Tears filling up her eyes, possibly it’s the exhaustion taking over her emotions.
Jungkook bridges his arms across Junghee from any further attacks, “Ladies, you have no right to slap a student.”

She sees the scene unfolds; fingers being pointed at, cries coming from the corner, octaves raising higher each time, and seeing Jungkook’s hand still holding onto her. Junghee lay her eyes on Jungkook's back; his strong and muscular built, creating a wall like shielding her from the moms. She focused her eyes along his hand, intertwining around her wrist, unknowingly a warm sensation gradually come over as it speeds up the rhythm of her heart. She felt secure, protected. It has been overly long since she felt this feeling
