Jongin was smiling happily the next day. Despite he still got patches around his eyes, Yeoreum could sense that he was feeling so happy.

"Look at you." she mumbled against their lips and Jongin grinned at that, rubbing her back as she went sitting beside him on the bed - after he went whining at her and she went rolling her eyes playfully before finally sitting beside him. 

And Jongin didn't waste any second - wanting for his kiss and Yeoreum went chuckling, leaned closer and let him take the lead on her. 

He was gentle on her, on her lower lips before teasingly biting it and went on it again and Yeoreum felt shivers on her skin by that action. 

When he teased their tongue together, she was already squirming in his hold. 

"Your mom gonna come any seconds..."

"Just a little bit more..." and he pulled her closer, closing his eyes and Yeoreum moaned into the kiss. 

Before she pushed him away slightly. 

"Seriously, your mom gonna see us."

"She went to check on my dad, she won't be around for a while." he assured and Yeoreum laughed when he went puckering his lips for more. 

"You become more clingy after the surgery." 

"I'm just so happy."

"I can see that." she whispered, before gently smooching on his lips. 

"It's all because of you."

"No. It's all because of you." she corrected, rubbing on his jaw before kissing on it softly. 

"Your happiness is because of you, Jongin. Not me."

He chuckled. "But you had your own share in it."

Meh - she make a sound of that, before giggling when Jongin went to pull her more, wanting another kiss. 

Surgery was successful, but to wait for the moment of truth on Jongin's sights was painful to wait for. 

He couldn't be opening his eyes too soon, still throbbed after the surgery and was red from it - that's why he still got his patches on. 

Jongin also felt the throbbing headaches in every once in a while to which the doctor said that it was normal after the surgery. 

His sights were still the same - pitch black. 

But Yeoreum just kissed him gently and assured him that everything is going to be okay when she noticed that he was worrying again when the nurses went to change on his patches. 

"It's still too early, Jongin."

"Still..." 

It would take for a few weeks, or maybe months. 

And Yeoreum was willing to assure him everytime he needed a boost to his anxious self.

"Still okay." she hugged him tight and he couldn't help but to soften at that. 

"You're being clingy." he teased. 

And she just huffed at that. "Says the one who always want to make out with me the first moment I stepped into the room..."

"Jeez, Yeoreum...keep it down." Jongin chuckled. 

And Yeoreum was being pulled to his chest, making her snuggled to the comfort of his warmth. 

"Anyway, are you excited for college?"

She made a face at that, shaking her head and Jongin smiled wider - amused, when he noticed that she was shaking her head to his question. 

"I'm not gonna be able to see you."

"No. You gonna see me, after I got my sights back..." he muttered. 

"And then...we gonna go to the movies..."

"Maybe to the amusement park..."

"Or, go shopping together..."

She snorted at his plans. "Seemed like you got everything planned out."

Jongin went smiling at that. "I...want to take you out like every other couple do."

She raised a brow at that. "Weren't we like other couples?"

"Well, not exactly, right? Because I am blind."

"Don't say that."

"What - it's the truth. We're not really like the other couples, we never really go out, and I never buy you anything, and - and, it's embarrassing to even think about it - "

"Jongin..." Yeoreum hushed him gently, kissing on his jaw and his words died down at that. 

Jongin went sighing. 

"I just wanna take you out like a normal guy. You deserve it."

"Jongin, being together doesn't mean that we have to go out to feel like we are together. I just want to enjoy my time with you."

"I don't mind if we stay in bed and do nothing, if that means that I got to be with you..."

Jongin, hearing that just smiled thinly before shaking his head - still stubborn on his thoughts. 

"Still, I wanna take you out like a normal guy."

"But, you are normal enough for me. Perfect enough."

And he didn't know why his lips tugged into an amused smile. Chuckling, he grasped on her waist tighter. 

"You know, sometimes...I hate your positives words so much."

Yeoreum went gasping at that, acting offended. "Hey, my positivity shouldn't be hated!"

And Jongin just chuckled at that. 

As a few days passed, Yeoreum make a new routine for herself, she would get up, getting ready for the day before went out to the hospital. 

Mrs.Kim would be there for her, smiling gently before asked her to take care of Jongin for a while as she went to work for a moment. 

And Yeoreum would be happy to do that. 

Then, Yumi would come by sometimes, dropping Mrs.Kim's clothes when the woman had asked her to, and that's when Yeoreum knew that Yumi was still working for the woman, cleaning the house. 

Jongin on the other hand - had his patches removed, eyes looking shining and bright that she somehow got lost when she stared too long. 

He still couldn't see anything - just some floaters and some blinding figures of the person in front of him. 

It was still a great achievement. 

The doctor prepared a few medicines for him while still monitoring him from time to time that somehow makes the boy went annoyed because - he hated being visited by the doctors every damn time. 

And Yeoreum would always be there to laugh it off and just kissed him afterwards, making him went silent and just pouted after that - wanting more. 

Chanyeol came from time to time - he was busy with his part time jobs and the preparation for the college, but still wanted to see his friends and Jongin grew annoyed, because Chanyeol was a pain in the to handle sometimes.

Talking about college, Yeoreum knew that it was near and she hated it. 

And Jongin was always there to remind her every single day. 

"Did you finish with the preparation?"

She pouted at that, sighing dejectedly. "I did..." 

Her voice went slow and Jongin went chuckling, pulling her to his side as they sat on the couch in the room. 

"You sound sad."

"I don't wanna go to college." she murmured, leaning to his shoulder as he stared at nothing. 

"I won't be able to see you."

Jongin went smiling, rubbing her arm affectionately. "It's not like I asked you to break up with me or something. I just want you to focus on your college first."

"Still..." Yeoreum didn't like the thoughts of not meeting him. 

She didn't want him to forget about her if she wasn't by his side. 

She wanted to be the first one that he will set his eyes on when he had his sights.

She wanted to be the first to know how his sights got back. 

She wanted to be with him when it all happened. 

Sighing, she just leaned and pressed a kiss on the tip of Jongin's shoulder, making him smile when he felt it. 

Yeoreum was sure when she said that she didn't feel too good - her heart was thumping anxiously, feeling that something bad was going to happen.

Her intuition was killing her. 

And she hated it. 

Making it worse, college was about to start and Yeoreum was busy trying to prepare for the day that she was having headache from being too stressful.
