The father was told by Hyukjae and Donghae that Donghae had a problem with his aura, which was why he couldn’t appear in photos.

Hyukjae’s father finished more confused that what he started out with.

Hyukjae asked his father to stay the night, and Donghae even prepared the room for him. They started to chat, saying, “I use to sleep here before we became engaged!”

The father shouted, “You are engaged?!”

Donghae started to smile and said, “Oh! I forgot to tell you!”

Hyukjae’s father was astonished, “You two sure go fast don’t you?”

Donghae said, “When you find your soulmate, there is nothing else you can do. What happened to yours?”

Jae-Kwang became sad, and said, “I had it, and I let it go. We were both students, but I was ambitious and she wasn’t. For years we were together, but my passion for success was too much. She wanted to live a quiet life in a small town, and I didn’t. She always helped me, but I lost contact with her after I adopted Hyukjae. She helped me with that too since she knew me and my wife were looking for a kid. The last time I saw her she told me she never married, because there was no point. That was my chance… she was telling me that she still loved me, and to be truthful, I still love her. But I was always a coward, I always let people do whatever they want to. But once she gave me Hyukjae, she said, ‘I knew their parents, and I want the best for him and I know you will do that.’ I felt she was giving me part of her, but I failed in that too.”
 

His eyes became tearful, and Donghae gave him a hug and said, “You should go and see her.”

Jae-Kwang said, “And tell her what?”

Donghae smiled, “The truth, of course.” and he left the room.

Hyukjae went to say goodnight to his dad, and he found him at the bottom of the bed holding his head. Hyukjae asked, “Are you okay dad?”

He said, “Sometimes, I regret everything in my life except you, but even that, I managed to ruin that too.”

Hyukjae came close to his father, and said, “We can fix it, I know we can. Why did you never tell me that I was adopted?”

He answered, “I was scared. I thought you wouldn’t love me anymore and that you would start looking for your real parents. My own insecurities, once again, played the best of me.”
