The senior doctor just offered his hand automatically and answered a bit uncertain, “Nice to meet you too...”

Donghae sat in the chair across the desk and said, “Sir, I know our circumstances are a little different, but we mean no harm. The man was sitting there without words. He was trying to digest all the words, but they were stuck in his throat. But after putting himself together, he managed to say, “You are ok with him sleeping around for that long?”

Donghae was confused, “He has never slept around, he was when I met him, he was my first kiss and I was his” he said very shyly. He then continued, “Who told you that father? He is very shy, he would never do that, all the hospital staff love him, my friends love him also because he never tried to have with me, when we were friends or even when we lived together, sharing a flat because of my circumstances!”

The senior doctor was still sitting there looking blank, trying to fully comprehend everything this young man was telling him.

After 20 minutes of silence on his part, the young man not noticing he hadn’t talked at all, talking non stop himself, the very weird visitor left.

He keep staring at the invitation the other gave him, he never said too much in the meeting, but for some reason he could not be nasty to this man. He felt so bad about believing in someone else and not in his own son.

He felt rotten, because he never felt proud of him when he graduated, not with honours, not even when he was the youngest in his class.

He was alone that day, because his business partner said his son was a well known homoual, a very promiscuous homoual. He was so mad that when Hyukjae gave him the invitation for his graduation, his mother already made an excuse for not going, and he knew that. His father threw the invitation in his face, he remembers is clearly, like he was reliving every moment like it was yesterday.

The other’s face, the pain written all over it, there wasn’t a single ounce of resentment or anger on his son’s face, he just left with the invitation on the floor.
