Once they arrived at the hotel, the man in the hotel said, “We have three weddings in town today, and all single beds have been used… we are very sorry.”

Donghae looked at the man and said, “Nothing to be sorry about! We are lovers!”

The guy spat out his invisible food from his mouth whilst Hyukjae’s face changed colours. Donghae asked the man, “Are you okay?”

The man cleared his throat and said, “I am sorry sir, we are not that kind of hotel.”

Donghae asked innocently, “What do you mean? You don’t have lovers?”

The man answered, “Yes, we do. But more conventional lovers.”
 

Donghae clapped his hands, “Ahh it’s okay! We are engaged!”

The guy looked at Hyukjae, looking for reason, and Hyukjae looked at Donghae. It was like he was secretly giving power to his lover, and the man began.

“Personally, I don’t have problems with your kind of lifestyle, but we have policies and we have standards. I know other hotels don’t, but we do.”

Hyukjae interrupted the man, “I need to talk to the manager.”

The man picked up his phone and he called someone. They waited in the lobby for a few minutes until this middle aged man, going onto old, appeared smiling.

“How can I help you?”

Donghae was the first one to talk, “The man at reception doesn’t believe I am going to get married… He doesn’t want to give us a room… I understand him a little bit… I am old fashioned too… but still! He should believe me! He is a doctor!”

The manager said, “I am so sorry, but I am not only the manager, but also the owner. It is true, we do have special policies on… same couples… this is a small town, and I rely on people who know us and recommend us.”
 

Donghae retaliated, “But… we also have friends… we can recommend you too...” Donghae’s face was changing though, and the man noticed.

“Please don’t take offence” the man replied, and Donghae said, “But you don’t want to lend me a room for being in love with my soulmate! You are punishing me for loving someone!”

His lips started to tremble, and Hyukjae immediately stood up and remembered the words of the old man, “Donghae, remember your health, please… let’s go to another place.”

Donghae asked, “But why doesn’t he understand what I am saying? Doesn’t he have someone who loves him? Does he not love anyone?”

Hyukjae answered, “Who cares. Let’s go.”

He started to pull Donghae, whose eyes were full of tears and his face reflecting pain. He heard voice behind him saying, “I did…”
 

Donghae turned around, and said, “You did what?”

He answered, “I did… have someone who loved me… And I didn’t deserve her… And she left me… and there was no way back… Because she did the worst thing she could do as a punishment… she died… and I know if there was a god involved in this, it would have been because I mistreated her… I became this… but
