The next day, Hyukjae was woken up by the smell of bread. He practically didn’t close an eye for a second last night. He enjoyed every second of being with the other one.

He remembered how the other spooned him, put his head on his chest, put his leg on top of him, sleeping completely vertical, slapping him, taking all the cover, to then give it all back afterwards, rubbing his feet together like a locust, and at one point… he smelt like burnt hair. A few times, his nose was so close to Hyukjae’s neck, he could count his breathes.

He talked a few times in his sleep, but he was speaking in a heavy Mokpo accent. Hyukjae couldn’t understand a thing…

In the middle of the night, Hyukjae could hear Donghae whimpering, like a sad puppy. Choco came inside the room and stood at the door looking at us. She started to whimper as well. The only thing that I could imagine, was that Donghae could also speak dog.

When Donghae stopped, Choco went back to her bed.

Hyukjae found the interaction very weird…

When Donghae turned, his pyjama top went up, exposing his well built stomach. Donghae was perfect… But why is he still single!? Maybe he is looking for someone as perfect as him?… if that is the case, I do not hold a chance...

Donghae twisted his body so that he was in a foetal position, and all the covers went out of the bed. Hyukjae has never seen a bottom like that! It was so round, so perfect, that it would have put any Roman sculpture to shame.

When it was finally morning, there was bread waiting for him on the table, like their routine, he walked with his eyes closed, just following the smell.

He sat at the table and started to eat. Donghae said, “I never understand how you manage to get here by just following the smell, not opening your eyes once!”

The ending surprised me as I haven’t except such ending. Nevertheless it was a heartwarming ending. And I have never liked Ryewook character in any other FF as much as I liked here.

Chapter 10: Donghae's question of "How did I survive this long without kissing?" reminded me of what my late husband would always say to me from a quote that says, "I can't remember when I didn't like you. It must have been lonesome, then."
This story is bringing good memories. Thanks.

Chapter 9: Chapter 9: It is so sweet of Hyukjae to not take advantage of the situation. I loved him for that.
But I also loved the so obedient yet naive Donghae.
This is such a sweet story.
Thank you so much.

Chapter 2: This is quite interesting and the knowledgeable Kyu would have found the answer! An immune system that treats its body as a disease that had to be killed?
Quite interesting, indeed. Thank you.
Will slowly go through this. You have such beautiful stories!
