When Park Chorong and Yoon Bomi entered the automatic doors of the posh and high tech Park Hospital, they were immediately met by a young doctor who had rushed up to welcome them.

"Oh my God Chorong unnie, where are you hurt?!"

Eyeing the obviously younger female who had a head of dyed hair and was bosterious in her speech was a very wary Bomi. He only relaxed visibly when it was certain that this young woman was someone the heiress was accustomed to.

Patting reassuringly on her friend's arm, Chorong kept repeating that she was unhurt and the person in need of medical care was the one presently standing stiffly by her side.

"Would you please take a look at him Namjoo-ah. His cuts are still bleeding even though I've applied pressure like what you've said."

Turning her attention to the tall and handsome male towering at 1.8 metres in height, Namjoo studied his injuries for a moment before her mind quickly kicked into doctor mode. Ushering the two into a nearby room, she began gathering medical supplies and proceeded to slap on some plastic gloves.

"I'm really fine Ms Park. I can just purchase some antiseptic lotion at the pharmacy..."

Raising an eyebrow at his persistent reluctance, Namjoo's temper got the better of her and she shoved Bomi hard until the police officer staggered backwards and ended up sitting heavily on a gurney. 

"Can't you just keep quiet and stay down? It's the first time Chorong unnie has asked me to take care of someone and you should be honoured. Besides, anyone with even an ounce of knowledge would recognize me as the youngest and most successful medical professional in South Korea. You can be sure no scars will be left behind when the director of the hospital is tending to you herself!"

Park Chorong stood a distance away with her hand covering part of her face as her cheeks flushed a light pink at Namjoo's words. Part of her shyness was due to her dongseng's lack of bashfulness while the other reason was because Namjoo had unwittingly revealed that she hadn't brought anyone else to the hospital before. 

Fortunately for Chorong, Bomi didn't seem to have picked up on that little detail and was more taken aback by how pushy the female doctor was being. 

"Pull down that collar of yours would you, I'm trying to reach those wounds on your neck."

Fumbling with the buttons on his shirt, Bomi found it hard to do as Namjoo has instructed as his shoulder was aching from the action of raising his arms. Realizing that he must have injured it during the earlier incident, Bomi gritted his teeth and tried his best to undo the row of buttons lining the front of his white shirt.

Noticing the slight frown between his good looking eye brows, Chorong approached the gurney and asked if he was hurt someplace else. Not wanting her to reproach herself, Bomi merely shook his head. Nevertheless, being as sensitive as she was, Chorong instantly detected his abnormality.

"Did you injure your shoulder?"

Being just as obstinate as Chorong was, Bomi resolutely shook his head until Chorong had no choice but to order him in the capacity of his boss to remove his jacket in order to show her his shoulder. Having no option but to do as he was told, Bomi slowly took off his coat.
