The four friends have lunch together at the cafeteria, just like a year ago, but circumstances a little bit different.

Seulgi sits beside Irene, who is waiting with her food already set in front of her. Seulgi fixes up the table and returns the tray. When she sits back down, Krystal and Amber are still buying their lunch.

“How are you?” Irene asks as soon as she sits down. She looks at her but the serious expression in Irene’s eyes makes her look at her food instead.

“I’m fine. We’ve been classmates for a month but you only ask me now?” Seulgi chuckles playfully.

She looks at Irene again and she’s still looking straight to her eyes. She doesn’t leave her gaze this time when she answers, “We’re best friends. You should know that I’m feeling great right now.”

A smile grazes Irene’s lips now and Seulgi’s glad. “Just making sure.”

They start eating as Krystal and Amber take their seats. They talk about classes and exchange stories. Just like before.
