“Amber! Oh, hi Irene!”

Krystal greeted Amber with a kiss and Irene with a hug before leading them nearer to the stage.

Irene doesn’t socialize like most university students do. It’s just that she would rather stay home with her fiction and her laptop, and her online subscription to watch her dramas.

She made an exception today, and for who knows what reason. Even Amber was surprised that Irene gladly agreed. The only plan for tonight was to watch Krystal’s best friend perform, and then the four of them will go out for dinner.

The crowd cheers once the lights out and silhouettes are seen on stage. Krystal’s voice booms with a name that seems to be popular among some students.

The performance leaves Irene in awe. It was something Irene didn’t expect to see. The moves were on point, precise, flawless, and in sync. There were about 15 dancers on stage, but only one caught her attention.

Irene didn’t realize she was cheering so loudly at the end until she notices Amber and Krystal’s amused looks.

“What?” she questions.

Amber shakes her head in exaggerated disbelief. “I’m glad you went out with us today. You seem to be having fun.”

Irene smiles at them, but then she turns her attention to the dancers leaving the stage. She points to the right side.

“That girl with her hair up and a crop top was so good. She dances so well.”

With her attention still on the girl, she fails to see the glint in Amber’s eyes and the smirk on Krystal’s lips.

“Of course she does. She’s my friend Seulgi.”

---

Seulgi.

Irene’s first real love.

Adventurous.

Romantic.

Selfless.

Too selfless.

If anybody asks Irene now, the only issue she had with Seulgi is that she puts other’s wellbeing before her own.

---

Seulgi.

Irene mutters to herself, before she hears a scuffling Krystal running towards someone.

“Seul!”

“Krys!”

Oh.

She’s pretty. It was Irene’s first thought upon seeing said girl.

“Hi.” There’s a hand in front of her and it takes a split-second before Irene shakes it.

Seulgi… is someone that interests her. She’s kind, nice, and even funny at times.

During their first dinner together, she couldn’t help but stare at her.

She looked different from when she was on stage. When she danced, she looked fierce and strong and cool. Not to mention, incredibly stunning.

Off stage, she is still as pretty. But, with a soft gaze from her crescent eyes, and a warm aura around her. A strange feeling ignites Irene’s curiosity. All she knows is that she wants to get to kn

Chapter 4: oof can't believe i only found this. i like the slight nonlinearity, makes me have to work my brain a little, yet it's structured and written so well that it comes together nicely and makes sense. can't wait to finish reading!

Chapter 23: Beautifully written story here. I like how it is very easy and pleasant to read this story. The chapters are short and simple, but they bring up lots of emotions and tackle bits and pieces of issues which tie up nicely at the end. I like it that we get to see the perspectives of most characters involved. Thank you so much for this.

Chapter 19: Great chapter. Interesting to see the difference between Seulgi and Wendy in their relationships with Irene.
The line that Amber says is really deep. I had to read the sentence again to fully grasp its meaning.
