'Higher! Higher! To the left! Okay!'

Sounds of construction workers emitted loudly around Mae Aera's house. Workers were jackhammering, drilling and digging. While other workers drove tractors, cranes and trucks. Since I agreed to protect Aera, I needed to ensure her house was also protected. That started with replacing the broken intercom, building a new and improved gate and surrounding the premises with a sturdy wall.

As I watched the construction site, Jaeho strode beside me.

'Thanks, Taehyung. This means a lot to me.' He said.

I raised an eyebrow and said, 'what happened to the arrogant guy I know?'

Jaeho punched my shoulder friendly and chuckled. 'When you live with Aera for so long, you change as a person.'

'Well, because Aera is very kind, cheerful and considerate. She makes you want her company. I don't know, I guess it changes you because you start caring.'
