The crowd rose up and applauded loudly. Aera opened in shock and slowly stood from her seat. She made her way towards the stage, the audience kept the cheer going strong.

Aera cleared and spoke into the microphone, 'thank you so much for this award. I just want to thank all my fans for always supporting me. I also want to tha-' B A N G !

A loud gunshot penetrated the stillness of the air. The audience screamed and panicked as Aera dropped dead to the floor. Blood started gushing out from the wound, her body limped on the ground. Her heavy eyes slowly closed, enclosing her into the deep depths of darkness.

That's when I woke up.

I woke up with my chest heaving up and down, out of breath. My hair was stuck to my sweaty forehead, running rapidly as a bulldozer was my heartbeat.
