'Found you, pretty boy.'

I smirked as I placed my apple on the counter.

In an instant, he flew his fist towards me. I dodged to the side in one fluid move.

'Stop Gun,' I threatened.

His menacing eyes blazed with anger as he charged with a mighty cry.

Again, his agile movement was too slow so I kicked behind his knees as he dropped to the ground. I grabbed his hair and punched him in the jaw. He fell in agony as his tongue was soaked in the taste of blood.

'Gun, I had to protect Aera,' I said.

Gun slowly stood up as he wiped his mouth. 

'You remember what I told you?'

My mind flashed to a memory.

'I don't want you to touch her again, you got that? I'm her bodyguard, you're just a backup. If I see you touch her again, I'll break you.'

'Look, she depends on me more than you think. You may love her Gun, but I know how to protect her,' I said.

'You don't get it, do you? She's ing in love with you!' He yelled.

'What?' I forgot how to breathe as the thought bounced around inside my skull.

'She told me yesterday that she likes you. But she's going nowhere near you since I know what kind of bastard you are!'

'Be quiet, people are sleeping,' I spoke as I gritted my teeth.

I balled my fist and punched him in the nose as he collapsed to the floor in misery.

My blank went blank as I thought about Aera. She likes me?
