Strawberry, Peppermint and Fairy Tale Endings
Description
"Life is too short to eat dessert last"
She came back to make her dream happen but her parents wants otherwise. They want her to get married to the person they choose for her.
She decided to ask for help and her childhood friend Changmin, came to the rescue, sealing off the deal with conditions on both sides. They pretended to be together so that her parents wouldn’t push her into what they want.
The only danger of the deal is when someone breaks it off by falling in love with the other. Or when Changmin’s supposed true love comes back.
Foreword
She glides with grace as she walks the familiar path of Incheon airport tossing her air in midair as she peek over the gray and pink horizon. “Finally, I’m home.”
Flashback *Twelve Years Ago*
“Let’s play fairy tale game today!” an eight-year-old girl giggled as she pushed her friend to come with her. Both of the girls are pretty and cute and are wearing pink dresses.
“I’m sleepy.” The other one said rubbing her eyes.
“Come on it will be fun!” she leaped in joy as she made her sat down in her favorite pink chair. “You will be the princess and I am going to be your fairy godmother.”
“Okay.” She yawned. “I’ll just smile and wave right?”
“Right.” She beamed at her. “Oh wait, I forgot one thing.” She looked around the small playground and her eyes sparkled as she saw him. She quickly jumped up to him as he pulled him towards her previous playmate.
“Wae?” he is agitated but he let her do whatever she wants.
“We are going to play fairytale game today and you will be the prince.”
He smiled.
“And she will be your princess.” She chirped pointing at the cute girl sitting in a pink chair waving at them.
End of Flashback
She flipped her hair nonchalantly as it was tousled softly by the warm breeze of Seoul. She checked her watch confirming that she finally has arrived in the right place at the right time. She stopped in the middle of the busy airport oblivious of the people passing by her.
No. Other people never bothered her.
“Finally!!” she shouted.
People stared at her, some amused, and others think she’s crazy but she couldn’t care less.
She’s free and that’s all that matters.
With her usual pink bag and shoes she graced the pathway with ease as she strolled the airport finding her company to take her home.
“Sook joo.”
She turned around finding a man in his usual jeans and shirt waving happily at him.
“Oppa! I didn’t expect you here.” she was more than surprised to see him there.
“Your dad called me saying you’ll arrive today. How are you princess?”
She pouted as she hugged the guy. He is definitely taller than her even if she wears heels. He has short hair with specks of brown, his eyes are big and warm and he has a cute dimple on his left cheek. He is a genuinely nice person. She almost knew him all her life. Almost.
“Oppa, please don’t call me that.”
“Alright.” He smiled at her. “Ready to go?”
She nodded.
He turned around as he took her luggage but stopped again and looked back at her.
“By the way Sook joo, welcome back to Seoul.”
