It was really hot but they need to keep going in order for them to reach their destination on time. Seungri look at the empty land around him, it look really deserted and if someone decide to attack them, they will be an easy target.   

‘I bet that you itch to run away again.’ Daesung said as he ride beside Seungri but he choose to keep quiet. He said to himself that he will not run away because he is here on his own free will.

They arrived almost dark. There were no one greet them except a few slaves.  Seunghyun step down from his horse, he pull off his riding gloves and slip them around his belt as he go to meet the palace keeper.

Kim Joong Kook come out from nowhere and snarl at Seungri. He order Seungri to strip his armour and deal with his horse.

Seungri pull Kim Joong Kook’s horse and his horse inside the stable. As he was tidying the animal Daesung come and break his attention.

‘The healer want to see you,’ he said. Seungri put down whatever he was doing and go to the last tent as being pointed by Daesung..

‘Sit,’ the healer said. Seungri follow the order and the healer began to unbuckle her bag.

‘Show me your back.’

‘It’s fine.’

‘After riding one day? In full armour?’

‘It’s really fine,’ Seungri reply.

‘Take off your shirt.’ The healer’s eyes pierce Seungri with persistent stare. After a long moment of hesitation Seungri reach behind his back and take off his shirt, exposing his back to the healer.

His back has healed with new scars replace the wounds. Seungri crooked his head to the side but he can’t get a glimpse of his back, so he stop his action before he injured his neck.

The healer’s hand still rummage inside the bag and she manage to pull out a small bottle of balm.

‘This is a healing balm. You should apply it every night. It will help to fade the scar.’

‘Well, that was really too much do.’

The healer press her lips thin. ‘I was told that you will be a bit difficult. Well. The better your wounds heal the less your back will trouble you.’ The healer said.

‘I assume that Wang-seja jeonha has instuct you to check on me?’ Seungri ask.

The healer only smile as she rubs the balm on her delicate fingertips before give a light massage on Seungri’s back. The balm was cool and the aromatic scent had a calm effect on his body. One by one, Seungri’s tight muscles was unlocked. He bend his head forward and made his hair fall to his face. He was breathing calmly as the healer’s fingers worked its magic.

‘I don’t know your name,’ Seungri said.

‘You don’t remember me. You were unconscious the night we meet. Two more lashes and you would not see the morning.’

Seungri let out a snort. ‘It was not that bad.’

The healer look at him oddly. ‘I’m Bom.’

‘Is this your first time join a ride like this?’

‘No, this is my second time. I was Jusang-jeonha’s healer. So, I have tended many injured army during last war.’

They both fell into silence but the work on his back still continue with slow
