“Chanyeol, it’s not your fault.” Everyone was comforting Chanyeol from blaming himself of the death of JunSu. Everything just happened too fast. Chanyeol didn’t manage to stop his freaked out housemate when he ran away from the house. JunSu was just too freaked out as he didn’t see the coming car towards him, and the next thing he knew, he had already being flown away by the vehicle. JunSu died on spot.

“I promise him. I promise him I won’t let anything happen to him.” Chanyeol cried, blaming himself.

“Chanyeol, that is an accident, it’s not your fault.” Minseok said to the younger.

“But I could have stopped him. I could have…” Chanyeol didn’t get to finish his sentence when he was pulled into Baekhyun embrace.

“It’s alright, it’s alright.” Baekhyun kept comforting the younger in his embrace. Looking at the break down Chanyeol, it saddened them too. “Just let JunSu go, ok? But look on the bright side, JunSu is finally able to reunite with TaeHyun, right?”

Chanyeol didn’t say anything as he kept crying in Baekhyun embrace. “Let’s get home, alright?” Baekhyun said softly to the phoenix who just nodded his head weakly, being led by the light manipulation away from the graveyard.

“What should we do now, hyung?” Kyungsoo asked softly to Kris who was walking beside him.

Kris didn’t turn to look at the younger as he muttered out softly, “We’ll protect Chanyeol. We’re not letting that Guardian hurt our friend.”

Hearing the leader answer, Kyungsoo nodded his head in agreement.

They’re going to protect Chanyeol, no matter what it cost.

Chanyeol was being led back to Baekhyun apartment for the time being. Baekhyun, Suho, Sehun, Kyungsoo, and Tao were with him, making sure that he’s okay, and also under Kris order to never let their eyesight out of Chanyeol for whatever reason.

“You can rest in my room for the time being, Yeol.” Baekhyun said to Chanyeol just nodded his head. “I know you probably won’t come back to live in your apartment. You can stay here if you want. The room next mine is unoccupied until now; I can help you ask the house owner about if you’re interested to rent, Yeol.” Baekhyun suddenly remembered about the empty room beside his.

Chanyeol just nodded his head again at Baekhyun, “Thanks Baek. And yes, I’m interested in renting the room.”

“I’ll help you ask.” Baekhyun said to his friend before he took out his phone and made the call immediately.

“I’ll see what I can do to cook something for you, ok?” Kyungsoo said before he disappeared towards the kitchen.

Chanyeol was actually really touched for everything his friends did for him. He couldn’t thank them enough for their care and concern for him. “I’m alright, guys. Don’t worry about me.” Chanyeol sighed before he continued, “Look! I don’t want you guys to worry for me, ok? In fact, I don’t think I should be hiding here.”

“Hyung, you heard what Kris hyung said, right?” Sehun voiced out. “That Guardian is coming after you. We have to protect you.”

“I don’t want you guys get hurt because of me. If that Guardian wanted to come after me, I will be ready to fight her. I am not going to hide here and be a coward!” Chanyeol snapped angrily at them.
