“What happened? You’re alright, Yeol?” Everyone who heard the news about Chanyeol housemate was worried sick for the flaming phoenix.

“I am fine, guys.” Chanyeol assured his friends for not worrying over him. “I just never thought TaeHyung will die in this way. It’s too tragic.” Chanyeol said sadly. Although he’s not close with his housemates, but no matter what, they have living under one roof for a year. He felt sad for losing his housemate.

“But something’s not adding up though. I mean, why snakes?” Sehun question snapped Chanyeol out of his thought.

“And no trails of snake anywhere the building? That’s not possible though. Snake is not a small animal, it’s kind of animal not easy to be missed.” Yi Xing said out his thought.

“Wait! You said your housemates just came back from Egypt? There are lots of snakes in Egypt though.” Kris suddenly said.

“Yeah, but what’s the relation? His housemates couldn’t bring the snake from Egypt home, could they?” Kyungsoo cut down Kris words.

“And now the other housemate is missing?” Suho asked Chanyeol who nodded his head. “So, he’s the suspect, the one who can be killing his own friend?” Again, Chanyeol nodded his head.

“But according to Chanyeol, the other housemate is scared of snakes or any reptile animals, so it couldn’t be him who set out the snake, right?” Baekhyun said out.

“Yeol, do you notice anything weird when you’re back home?” Luhan asked Chanyeol.

 Chanyeol shrugged as he replied, “I don’t know, hyung. I haven’t gotten the chance to go home yet. The police evacuated the unit yesterday. I was staying at Baekhyun place yesterday.”

“Then, are you allowed to go back home now?” Luhan asked Chanyeol who nodded his head. “Then, let’s go. Let’s go see if there’s anything weird. You live there, so you must know if there’s something weird with the place. Maybe, that could be our lead to this happening.”

“Our lead?” Kris looked at his boyfriend with raising eyebrows. “Since when we’re involved investigating this matter?”

“Since it’s involved our friend’s living.” Luhan replied his boyfriend with a glare. “Aren’t you going to move your , Wu Yi Fan?”

“Should all of us go? Don’t you think it will be too crowded?” Kris still, raising his eyebrows at his boyfriend.

“Fine. But what if something not right might attack us there? What if the snake hasn’t left and attacked us?” Luhan looked back challengingly at his boyfriend. He knows his boyfriend too well. Kris wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to him.

Kris sighed, gave up as he stood up. “You win.”

“Let’s go guys!”

It turned out to be Chanyeol, Luhan, Kris, Baekhyun, and Jongin who was able free while the others couldn’t leave due to classes and works. “You live here, Yeol?” Luhan asked Chanyeol who nodded his head. “There has nothing ever happened in this area though, it’s like the safest and quietest area around.”

“Yeah, you’re right. That’s why what happened yesterday was big.” Chanyeol said as he led them towards the unit he’s staying.

“Wow... This place is a mess.” Jongin commented as they entered the house which things were scattered around.

“Yeah, that’s all JunSu and TaeHyung things. They just came back this morning, they must haven’t tidied up their stuff, still scattered around.” Chanyeol said.

“Wow... They brought back nice stuff though.” Luhan complimented as they looked through the things on the living room. Kris reacted fast by preventing his boyfriend from touching anything. “Hey, what’s that jar?” Luhan suddenly noticed the standing jar on the table.

“Ah! That’s what they brought back home from Egypt too.” Chanyeol said as he went inside his bedroom
