Promise
Stuck With The BoysSeulbi sat in her hospital bed alone, waiting for someone to enter. Jungkook had left earlier, leaving her to ponder in thought. She couldn't forget what her brain had uncovered. After so long without those memories, she found it hard to stuff them into the back of her mind again. She thought about Jungkook's condition, if he ever healed, and why he never said anything about recognizing her. The whole thing didn't make sense.
Suddenly Seulbi heard the door swing open, Jungkook standing underneath the doorway again.
"Jungkook, you're back." She spoke. A soft smile ghosted onto his features, the sunlight pouring in from the windows had tinted his eyes with hues of soft gold. He turned around and shut the door behind him, pulling up a chair next to her.
"Anyone show up after I left?" He asked. It had just occurred to Seulbi that no one had checked up on her since his exit. She didn't mind, she was rather happy with just his company.
"Nope, but I'm happy you're back. I missed you, just a little." Seulbi said. Jungkook's smile never faded as he pulled a chair up next to the side of her hospital bed. Looking at him, Seulbi had so many questions. They were clouding her mind so abundantly that she couldn't hold her words back anymore.
"I remember you." Seulbi said, and Jungkook's smile automatically faded into a shaken, confused look. Had he caught on already?
"Remember me? What do you mean?"
"I remember you. I remember
