Chapter 2 - Seungjun
Mind & Heart Affairs“No way.”
That was the first reply that was uttered against the ridiculous proposal that Seungjun has just received from the director.
Seungjun is a psychiatrist at KNK Private Hospital. Despite his impressive job title, he is still only at the tender age of 24. A child prodigy was one of the numerous title that people are able to associate him with. He had just started work 5 months ago and was nowhere near being a professional which is why it is legitimately illogical to assign him a task that was completely out of his job scope.
“At least try to hear the client out before making your decision. You have got nothing to lose by hearing her out. Plus, I thought that my nephew is able to gain more insight of his future patients’ behaviour through this proposal,” came the reply, accompanied by a stern look in the eyes.

The father of the child left her when he found out he was about to be a father. By then it was too late for her to abort the fetus without risking her own life. Our family’s mistake was to left her on her own during the time that she needed us the most. My family was well-known among the socialites as one of the most influential company in Seoul. They had a reputation to uphold and Soo Ae’s secret child would only taint the company’s reputation. Personally, I was against my parents’ idea but I myself was far too young at the time to make a choice of my own.”
Her voice started to waver and teardrops starts to form at the corner of her eyes. “She committed suicide 2 years ago, leaving her child to survive alone in this city. After news of
