Things You Said That I Wasn't Meant to Hear.

“I love you, Choi Youngjae” echoed inside Youngjae’s head.

“I love you forevermore” repeated over and over like a broken record.

“I love you more” said and Youngjae wanted to die.

“I can’t get you out of my head, Choi Young Jae; and I can’t bear that you aren’t mine yet. So we should date so that I can finally fall asleep” a voice that put butterflies in Youngjae’s stomach, that made Youngjae’s eyes shine brighter than the Sun, a voice that Youngjae loved more than anything in the world said, which Youngjae had carved in his brain so that he would never forget. But now all he wanted to do was to get that out of his mind once and for all. Now, Youngjae wanted to forget everything related to the person that once made rainbows grow inside Youngjae’s body and flowers grow inside Youngjae’s mind.

“Youngjae, please tell you’ll marry me” Youngjae wanted to get that sickening phrase out of his head. He couldn’t stand to hear it anymore.

“Why don’t we just get divorced then” Youngjae felt as if a huge ocean had swallowed him and wouldn’t let him go. He felt as if he was in the bottom and there was no way of getting out of there in to the light. Youngjae was dying quickly and painfully and there was no way to stop the process. Youngjae was out of breath.

“I vow to love you unconditionally” Youngjae heard as he was lying on the floor, soaked in salty tears and having a panic attack.

“Liar” Youngjae muttered, while trying to stop his ongoing panic attack.

“I vow to choose you over and over” Jaebum’s voice rang in his ears, breaking and stomping on his heart.

Youngjae didn’t feel like living anymore. He didn’t feel like breathing anymore. He couldn’t believe that someone who was smiling so brightly, who was so evidently happy could lie like that. He couldn’t believe that his Jaebum, his loving hyung could say something like that.

“Hey, I heard you were a freshman?” a buff scary looking older guy asked Youngjae in his scary deep voice.

“Yeah” Youngjae answered, not sure what this terrifying guy who probably beat up Youngjae with no problem wanted from Youngjae.

“And I’m guessing you haven’t made any friends here, yet?” the guy continued to talk.

“Does he want to me to be his… ?” Youngjae thought to himself, remembering the talk he had with his hyung about college sunbaes the day before. Convinced that the big guy wanted to make him his ‘pet’, Youngjae started to nervously look at every passerby, looking at them with the most miserable eyes and asking them for help using his telepathy. Too bad that no one caught up in his ‘crazy good’ telepathic skills.

“So, since you haven’t made any friends, yet, I want to befriend you!” the buff guy announced, shocking Youngjae.

“Wait, what? You want to be friends with me?” Youngjae was confused and puzzled. Why the hell did someone who was possibly very popular in the community wanted to be friends with a nerdy looking country guy?

“Yeah!” the guy replied enthusiastically.

“Wait, maybe he’s saying he wants to be friends but in reality ‘friends’ means me becoming his ” Youngjae knew better than some good looking popular guy befriending a freshman loser like him.

“If you think I’d buy that ‘friends’ crap, you’re wrong. I know you just want to be ‘friends’ so that you can boss me around” Youngjae replied confidently, although he was scared to death that the guy standing in front of him would punch the living light out of him. But instead of knocking Youngjae’s teeth out, the guy started to laugh.

“I don’t want to boss you around, I just want to be friends” the guy said after his laughter that lasted longer than the Second World War.

“Then why do you want to be friends with me?” Youngjae didn’t and couldn’t understand what could possibly seem so ‘friendly’ about him to this big city guy that had too many other popular friends.

“I don’t know, you just seem like the loyal type. Plus I just for no reason like you” the buff guy smiled. A smile that Youngjae would never, could never forget. A smile so bright and wonderful and happy that Youngjae wanted to be with him all the time to catch his adorable smile.

“Liar” Youngjae repeated drowning in his sadness.

Youngjae was just opening Jaebum’s dorm’s door when he heard his name.

“Dude, why are you hanging out with that Youngjae guy all the time? We can’t even find you at the studio anymore” Shownu, one of Jaebum’s good friends said, oblivious of the fact that Youngjae was right by the door, hearing and listening to everything he had to say.

“I don’t know dude. I just want to be with him, next to him all the time these days. For some reason his existence and presence next to me makes me so happy” Jaebum replied with such a happy tone that Youngjae immediately smiled to himself.

“And dude have you seen his smile. Man, his smile does wonders to me, you don’t even know” Jaebum continued.

“I don’t know, man, I feel like, I feel like I might like him. A lot at that” Jaebum admitted and Youngjae couldn’t feel or hear anything anymore.

“Big fat stupid liar” Youngjae cried, unable to hear or feel anything.
