Things You Said Under the Stars.

It was the last night of Youngjae and Jaebum’s late honeymoon. Nonetheless its lateness, the honeymoon was one of the best things that has ever happened and has definitely become a fond memory of Jaebum and Youngjae’s marriage, a story they would later proudly tell their children and grandchildren.

Youngjae and Jaebum wanted to spend the night stargazing as they didn’t have the chance to do so because of the cloudy weather of the past few weeks. And tonight was finally the day stars filled the night sky and lit up the mood.

The two lovers lied on the cold grass beside each other, looking at the glistening night stars.

“You know what this reminds me of?” Jaebum asked.

“Fresh snow?” Youngjae guessed. It did to him, anyway.

“No. it reminds me of your eyes whenever you’re talking about music” Jaebum said, not looking at the tiny glitter-dots in the sky anymore.

“Really?” Youngjae smiled. Youngjae left so relieved that someone he was mindlessly and utterly in love with loved him back.

“Really” Jaebum said, grabbing Youngjae’s hands and kissing it.

“By the way, I’ve always wondered why you didn’t decide to become a singer. I mean you have the talent and everything”

“I didn’t really have the chance to become one. My family was having some issues with money and the only thing my parents needed from me at the moment to finish high school successfully, enroll into some college, get a scholarship, graduate and then get a well paying stable job. I couldn’t even bring up auditioning to them, it was lucky if I got any pocket money” Youngjae explained.

“You should’ve auditioned anyway. What if some agency wanted you? What if one of the big three’s wanted you? Have you ever thought about that?”

“Ha! I bet SM Entertainment would’ve killed to have someone who has a generic voice that millions of other people have” Youngjae sarcastically replied, unable to keep a straight face at the thought of some huge company that makes literally millions of dollars on daily basis wanting someone like Youngjae.

“But hyung imagine me performing in front of JYP himself some slow song and him crying just like he does on Kpop star every episode” Youngjae laughed out loud. The thought of Youngjae being some idol everyone adored was so ridiculous that it cracked Youngjae up.

“But that’s possible considering you have a pretty soulful and soothing voice. I mean I’d pick you to be the next K.Will if I had an agency” Jaebum said, making Youngjae laugh louder.

“I just imagined you being called ‘PD-nim’ by some dude and then getting complaints from that dude a few weeks later for being too mean” Youngjae explained through his laughter.

“Hey I’m not that mean” Jaebum whined.

“Say I’m not mean” Jaebum climbed on top of Youngjae and started to tickle him, knowing how much ticklish Youngjae was and how much he hated when people took advantage of his heightened sense of touch all over his body.

“No, wait, hyung this is so unfair!” Youngjae said, being tormented by his husband who was about 5 times stronger than him.

“Admit that I’m not mean and I’ll stop” Jaebum continued to tickle his poor husband.

“I didn’t sign up for this when I was saying yes at the altar, hyung” Youngjae screamed, but it didn’t stop his cruel husband.

“Hyung don’t you think this is a bit too heinous?” Youngjae attacked again.

“Just say I’m not mean and I’ll leave you alone”

“Fine, you’re not mean, you’re like the kindest person in our galaxy” Youngjae screamed, trying to end the torture.

“But don’t overdo it” Jaebum replied, getting off poor Youngjae, who was too tired from the high level torture his own husband put him through.

“Anyway, you were right” Jaebum spoke, going to gazing to beautiful stars.

“I am enjoying our time here” Jaebum admitted, proving Youngjae’s words from a month ago were right after all.

“I’m always right” Youngjae smirked.

“You should appreciate me more, hyung, honestly. I’m such a catch like you won’t meet people greater than me, to be honest” Youngjae praised himself, making Jaebum giggle like a school girl.

“I know”,

“And I love you” Jaebum added, kissing Youngjae’s cheeks.
