THIRD PERSON'S POV

The next day Kyungsoo was the first to wake up and after having blinked a couple of times, Baekhyun's asleep face entered his field of vision. 
He thought he should have left his bed before the latter had woken up, but instead he watched him sleeping.

Not so long later, probably it was early in the morning, Kyungsoo was too lazy even just to check, Baekhyun woke up and caught the younger off guard
"Hey" 

Damn, he was already smiling
"Good morning"

"I thought you wanted to sleep alone" 
As expected Baekhyun started giggling 

"I changed my mind" 
Kyungsoo pouted and looked away but the older's laughter and his arms around his waist forced the younger to refocus his attention on him 
"Why are you so affectionate this morning?"

"Says the one who kissed me on the mouth last night" 

Kyungsoo looked out of the window, the morning view was beautiful.. in every direction 
"Are you drunk?"

"I felt you, idiot!" 
Obviously Baekhyun was already laughing

"I can explain that! I accidentally bumped on you!" 

Baekhyun kissed his cheek 
"It's better if you shut up" 
He said jokingly 

"I didn't really mean to kiss you!" 

"Shut up and.. I want you to be happy too"

Kyungsoo squirmed at the warm sensation of the latter's body wrapping his own. 
They said goodbye to the early morning in each other's arms.

At noon they finally made their way to the swimming pool. 
It was hectic; Kyungsoo was so worried about it, he complained all the time and he looked like he was going to his own execution. 

Baekhyun seemed amused by his behaviour, telling him he wasn't forced to come. 

Kyungsoo just shrugged and muttered something about 
"I need to look after you" 

Many kids were playing nearby the clean water meanwhile their parents were chatting, some cool boys were trying to catch the girls' attention by waving at them and making shameless comments.. the atmosphere was relaxed and Kyungsoo felt a bit envious of the ones who were bravely, at least he thought that, swimming and enjoying themselves in the water. 

'Maybe I should try...'

In the meantime Baekhyun had removed his shirt 
"Bye Kyungsoo!" 
He dived 

"W-wait" 
The younger went shirtless and convincing himself he'd be okay, he walked inside the water

Baekhyun swam toward him and let him grab his hips, carefully, very carefully, he carried Kyungsoo on his back and swam around the swimming pool. 

At first Kyungsoo's eyes became teary and he thought he would have died inside that cold water. 
However its coolness gave him goosebumps but a nice feeling and he was tired of that stupid fear so  he decided he had to overcome it.

"I trust you so much I let you teach me how to swim"

Baekhyun seemed tireless but he wasn't, Kyungsoo weight was fastly making him feel weak 
"I'm honoured" 
He managed to smile

Slowly they reached the ledge of the swimming pool, Kyungsoo dropped off Baekhyun's waist and held on the ledge instead.

"Good, now move your legs as if you were riding"

Kyungsoo followed Baekhyun's instructions, there were many people staring at him and he really didn't like it 
"Gosh, it's so embarassing" 

"I know" 
Baekhyun giggled and told him to left the ledge, not bothering to keep his voice down 
"You should move your arms now"

"What? If I leave the ledge I'll drown"

"You won't unless you stay still" 
Baekhyun held him by the waist and Kyungsoo followed his instructions once again but panicked and swallowed water

The older kept him afloat 
"Don't panic.. and if you want to drink some water you should go to the bar and buy it" 
He laughed shamelessly 

"Don't laugh" 
He was in the verge of cry 

"A penguin who can't swim"

"PENGUIN?!" 
Kyungsoo wanted to hit him

The air was filled with their laughter and Baekhyun continued to teach him how to swim. 

After a while Kyungsoo started improving and he felt proud of himself and grateful to his best friend, he hugged him; the pressure of the water against their bodies was pleasant 

"Thank you Baekhyunnie, do you realise that you've just made me almost completely overcome my biggest fear?" 

"It wasn't so difficult"

"Because it's you. When Jongin tried I screamed, when Luhan helped me I cried.. when the others threw me into the water I almost had an heart attack..."

"I'm special" 

"Yes, you are"

Baekhyun smiled and swam freely, the sun on his skin felt so good. 

Kyungsoo held again the ledge and watched him carefully, he had never swum before and he was tired. 

The older had got tired as well carrying him on his back and he floated on his back to rest. 

Kyungsoo swam around him 
"Yes! Finally he is dead" 
Then he headed back to his spot. 

Soon Baekhyun's eyes got heavier and heavier and he fell asleep, sinking.

Kyungsoo almost had an heart attack again and screamed Baekhyun's name, trying to reach the boy as fast as he could, even tho he looked more like a desperate turtle. 

Fortunately Baekhyun had already woken up and people were around him, asking if he had felt sick; when he saw Kyungsoo slowly approaching him he went to him, reassuring everyone he simply fell asleep.

"BAEKHYUN, YOU ARE A ING MORON. I ALMOST HAD AN HEART ATTACK"

"I'm sorry" 
He coughed 

Kyungsoo hugged him tight 
"Idiot"

The latter nodded 
"I know" 

"I get out of the water. Don't sink"

Baekhyun decided to follow him, he had enough of swimming and he was a bit scared too, Kyungsoo threw a towel on the boy, pretending he was angry.

A little cute dog scampered between the younger's  legs searching for cuddles and he found it so cute and fluffy. 
Kyungsoo loved animals so he wasn't bothered to caress him until a cute girl reclaimed it, smiling. 

Kyungsoo eyed Baekhyun quickly then he said to the girl 
"You're so cute too" 

He did expect Baekhyun to make a disappointed face but he did not expect him to grab his arm firmly, the girl observed the scene and went away.

Kyungsoo felt incredibly amused 
"I miss the nurse" 
He added right in the older's ear

"..."

Baekhyun, the one who always fooled everyone, was being fooled and he didn't even realise it until the younger whispered 
"I really like when you act jealous"

"..." 
He smiled a little

"But wren.. I don't like girls"

"I know..."

"And why are you jealous?"

"I don't know.. I can't live thinking about you being with someone else..." 
 
Kyungsoo froze at those words and instinctively touched the ring in his inner finger 
"Well... that's sweet..."

"Mh..."

"Baek" 
The younger couldn't stop touching the ring 
"Were you jealous of Kai?"

"I only wanted you to be happy, everything  else doesn't matter"

"I...you...I mean...you are so sweet and important" 

Baekhyun answered without thinking 
"You are vital for me"

They slowly headed back to their room, Kyungsoo was lost in his thoughts and Baekhyun wasn't as loud as always.

"Your jealousy, your possessiveness.. makes my heart flutter" 
Kyungsoo spoke after so long that Baekhyun got surprised and smiled, blushing a lot

"Hey..." 
Kyungsoo took the latter's face in his hand and he leaned in 
"How do you feel about me?" 

"I'm not sure about it..." 
Baekhyun sighed

"Baek.. you know that you can tell me everything..."

"Not this..."

"Yes, you can"

"No, I can't. I can't do it"

Kyungsoo sighed, kissing his forehead 
"I might have understood how you feel..."

"I hope so..."

"I don't know how to feel about it.. I don't know what to say..."

"Shut up"

He did

"Thank you..."

Kyungsoo smiled and Baekhyun did the same, Kyungsoo smiled even more and the latter grinned.

"We are so silly" 
Baekhyun laughed, he was still in the younger's embrace

"Yeah" 
The younger thought his laughter was the most soft and beautiful sound ever, how could he have thought it was annoying during the past years?

"Are we going to hug each other all the day long?"

"Why not?" 
Kyungsoo let him go 
"Get dressed, it's lunch time"

Baekhyun nodded and observed Kyungsoo wearing one of his shirts, he smiled and got dressed too for then follow the boy downstairs.
