Hyoyeon paid for the gummy bear packets she bought together with some bottles of soju. She had a bad day and hopefully she could cheer herself up when she gives Taeyeon a surprise visit. Plus, it’s been awhile since they saw each other due to their busy lives yet they still keep in contact with one another, just to check on each other. Today, Hyoyeon didn’t get to call or text the latter so why not stopping by at their place for tonight she thought.

“Taeyeonie, it’s me.”

Hyoyeon let herself known as she knocked on the door. She heard a thud coming from inside before the door swung opened, revealing her girlfriend with their eyes all swollen as if they were crying before she came. Their eyes met and Hyoyeon didn’t need to ask them what’s wrong. She opened her arms, allowing Taeyeon to come into her embrace and held them close. Not long after that, Hyoyeon believed the latter has started crying. But still, she wouldn’t want to question.

Because sometimes we would fall into a pit called sadness or deeper than that. We don’t always have to be happy anyway. It was okay not to be okay.
