Chapter 7
Sing to MeThere, perfect! She looked in the mirror to appreciate her look. YES! She pumped her fists in the air. Gorgeous. A little bit more dramatic than she intended but she loved it. She changed and went downstairs. "Good morning Minseo."
"Good morning sis." Minseo looked up from her breakfast. "Whoa, what's with that makeup?"
"I just felt like it." She stuck out her tongue and grabbed a bottle of orange juice from the fridge. "I'm going shopping, wanna come with?" She broke the seal and took a sip. "Yummm."
Minseo had a look of disgust on her face. "I hate makeup. Can't you feel it on your face? Doesn't it bother you?" She made hand motions towards her face.
"Want to come or not?" Minji asked exasperated.
"No. The restuarant called and is short on waiters today so I'm gonna go help. You should come too, the chefs could always use your guidance."
"But," Minji pouted. "I wanted to go check out some new prodcuts."
"Then come afterwards. Just make sure you come!" Minji was already halfway out the door. No way was she going to work all day! Her little makeup beauties were calling her name. She jumped into her car and drove to the mall. As much as she loved shopping she decided to limit herself to one makeup store and one shoe store. Then she'd go straight to the restuarant to help out. While debating about what shoe store to go into she bumped into someone.
"Oh, sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." She heard him say. She froze. That voice. It couldn't be..could it? He offered her his hand and she took it. She nodded in thanks before she ran off. Why did I have to run into Lay? He didn't recognize me right? Her dream came floating back and she kept lightly hitting her head to smack it out.
What a strange girl. The weirdest part was that Lay felt like he knew her.That Minji girl is making me go crazy. He dismissed all thoughts of her and went to buy a new iPod. He walked out of the store with a brand new black iPod. Although purple was his favorite color, he felt it was best to get a different color to help him move on.
