005: You Don't Know What It's Like
ConversationsTiffany: Jessi
Tiffany: Can I ask you something?
Jessica: Shoot.
Tiffany: I have a friend. She’s being bullied in school and she has depression, I think. What should she do to avoid getting bullied?
Jessica: This friend... You’re not talking about yourself, are you?
Tiffany: NO OMG WHY WOULD IT BE ME IM SO Y
Jessica: Yeah, it definitely wouldn’t be you.
Tiffany: So what should she do? What should I do?
Jessica: Well, are you close to her? Why is she being bullied in the first place?
Tiffany: Urm she’s different???? She doesn’t like hang out after school, she’s not into fashion or nails or any of the bimbo-tic things es do
Jessica: Then are close to her?
Tiffany: Not really
Tiffany: I just
Tiffany: I don’t like seeing her getting bullied for essentially nothing
Jessica: Okay, so firstly, you can’t prevent her from getting bullied because she’s different and there are lots of people getting bullied because they are different and that’s reality. But you can stop people from bullying her since you’re quite popular, no?
Tiffany: But it would hurt my reputation
Jessica: Is your reputation that important?
Tiffany: I don’t want to be seen hanging out with some loser
Jessica: You call her a loser but you said you wanted to help her earlier. Isn’t that ironic?
Tiffany: Well, I’m sorry but I just want to get through school without any issues okay
Tiffany: I don’t wish it on anybody but I don’t want anything to do with it either
Jessica: That’s akin to liking a picture of a starving child on facebook.
Tiffany: What’s the link?
Jessica: You’re not helping in any way.
Tiffany: Well thanks
Jessica: It wasn’t a compliment, Tiff. Are you mad?
Tiffany: No, just annoyed
Jessica: Why? Because I’m accusing you of not helping?
Tiffany: That, and because I can’t help her without sacrificing my reputation
Jessica: I’m sorry for the latter.
Tiffany: What about the former?
Jessica: It’s the truth. You don’t know what it’s like getting bullied, Tiff.
Tiffany: And you do?
Jessica: Maybe.
Tiffany: Tell me
Jessica: Anyway, so are you going to help her?
Tiffany: Why do you always change the subject?
Jessica: Because I can. So are you helping?
Tiffany: I don’t know. It’s really not my problem
Jessica: So if you witness an accident and you’re trained in first aid, you’re just going to stand there and watch the victim slowly die because it’s not your problem?
Tiffany: STOP STRESSING ME OUT JESSI OMG
Jessica: Okay okay, I’ll let you think over it.
Tiffany: I’ll tell you know tomorrow
Jessica: Okay.
Tiffany: Okay?
Jessica: I’m not doing that fault in our stars thing.
Tiffany: Aww, I cried like a baby when I watched it
Jessica: For your information, I didn’t exactly like Hazel.
Tiffany: And why not? Wasn’t she really selfless?
Jessica: But she was too selfless. You can’t stop yourself from hurting everyone. It’s just not possible.
Tiffany: You’re so realistic. Your username should be realisticdreamer, Jessi
Jessica: Maybe it should be.
Tiffany: You’re being really weird right now, Jessi
Jessica: I need to go. Goodbye.
Jessica has signed out.
Tiffany: Wait wha?
