014: Confession
ConversationsJessica: I’ve something to confess.
Tiffany: What? You’re a murderer?
Jessica: I’m serious!!
Tiffany: Okay, confess then.
Tiffany: But I know what you’re going to say
Jessica: What?
Tiffany: You’re in love with me ;)
Jessica: Do you see me puking?
Tiffany: No
Jessica: Shush. I really do have something to confess.
Tiffany: I’m all ears
Jessica: Promise you won’t get all freaked out and never show up online again?
Tiffany: I can’t promise the freaked out part though
Jessica: I don’t know why I’m still talking to you.
Tiffany: Because I’m fabulous :))))))
Tiffany: Your confession, go ahead
Tiffany: Helloooo
Tiffany: Miss Jung are you there
Tiffany: JUNG JESSICA
Jessica: I am gay.
Jessica: Or rather, I am a lesbian.
Jessica: There, I said it.
Jessica: Are you freaking out?
Jessica: Hello?
Jessica: I’m sorry I’m weird and disgusting. You don’t have to reply. I understand how you feel. I’m sorry. You can just forget about me. I’m sorry. This is who I am. I am gay. I’m sorry, not for being gay, but for freaking you out. You don’t have to show up, you don’t have to talk to me ever again. I’m sorry.
Tiffany: Calm your , I went to the toilet
Jessica: ASDFGHJKL I HATE YOU.
Tiffany: I don’t care if you’re gay
Tiffany: Honestly
Tiffany: Besides, I’m not exactly straight too
Jessica: ...
Jessica: Wait what? You’re gay? How is that possible? You had a crush on that guy and your dad forced you on a blind date with a guy too.
Tiffany: Maybe you’d call me bi? But I am on the wonderfully gay spectrum
Jessica: Wonderfully gay? I’m questioning your choice of words.
Jessica: You sound straight though.
Tiffany: You can sound straight?
Jessica: Well, you seem straight.
Tiffany: Well, sorry, girl
Tiffany: I like ies and vajayjays too
Jessica: You’re so vulgar. I can’t believe I’m talking to you.
Tiffany: How about we hook up? ;)
Jessica: NO. GET AWAY FROM ME.
Tiffany: Why do you like girls though?
Jessica: I just prefer girls. I don’t know. They smell nice. And they’re always soft. Guys are sweaty and stinky.
Tiffany: Don’t you like the ies and the vajyjay?
Jessica: I need to stop talking to you.
Tiffany: Seriously though, that’s the only reason you like girls?
Jessica: I don’t know. Why do you like girls? You’re so straight. I never suspected you of being gay/bi.
Tiffany: I’m not exactly a lesbian
Tiffany: More like I don’t care whatever junk you have down there as long as I like you
Jessica: So you’re like panual? Is that what they call it?
Tiffany: I don’t know
Tiffany: Why do you need so many labels anyway? I’m Tiffany no matter who I like
Tiffany: Just like how you’re the Jessica I love no matter what
Jessica: I see.
Jessica: The Jessica you love?
Tiffany: You’re my Jessus ;)
Jessica: …
Tiffany: Why the sudden confession though?
Jessica: Because I trust you. And because I promised to open up more?
Jessica: I-
Jessica: I’ve been very troubled with this whole uality thing.
Tiffany: Why? Has anything happened?
Jessica: No. Nothing. It’s just-
Jessica: I like this girl.
Tiffany: Oh
Tiffany: Who?
Jessica: Just this girl. And I don’t know what to do.
Tiffany: Do you even want to do anything?
Jessica: I don’t know. I’m afraid.
Tiffany: Does she like you?
Jessica: That’s the thing, I don’t know.
Tiffany: Do you want to be with her or stare at her from afar?
Jessica: I think… I want to be with her.
Tiffany: Aww
Tiffany: Jessi you’re so in love right now
Tiffany: I can’t even
Jessica: Omg. Stop. I just. I just really like her, okay?
Tiffany: Aww, Jessi’s in love~
Jessica: What should I do?
Tiffany: Just go for it?
Tiffany: Besides, the world is more open now
Jessica: Really? So I should just go for it?
Tiffany: Yeah
Tiffany: Just go ahead and confess
Jessica: Okay then.
Jessica turned away from her laptop. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. There was a notification on her laptop – probably a message from Tiffany but Jessica couldn’t careless right now. Jessica dialled a number on her phone and waited anxiously for the line to connect.
The line connected within a few seconds and there was a muffled hello on the other end. Jessica closed her eyes, inhaling sharply at the voice. She bit her lip, exhaling softly. Her heart clenched when the person on the other end repeated another hello, this time a little less muffled. Her fingers gripped the phone tighter and she felt her heart skip a beat.
“I like you,” she said softly.
