If you aren’t new to AFF, Asian Fan Fics, you shouldn’t be too surprised that this part is going to be stressed at all. A lot of people don’t realize how much originality in a story is important. Just imagine how boring it would be to read something over and over again …

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him—and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be—that thirsted for my blood.

And third, Edward was a vampire.

If you ever watched Ryan Higa you should’ve been able to see that one coming. However, that wasn’t meant to amuse you but tell you how stupid that sounds. It’s pointless to do something like that. Now excuse me for being blunt, but it makes you sound like an . I’m far from perfect but I’m pretty sure I haven’t repeated myself in such a fashion.

We’ve all seen the home page of this website, right? Every week on Saturday no matter where you live, no matter the time zone, it changes every Saturday when you log on. Have you ever taken notice on what stories are featured each week?

The number one writer on here is, according to the list, dbskgirl4ever. We all know who she is. She’s one of the most popular writers because you see one of her stories featured at least once a month. If you go to the ‘Recommended’ page you can see that many of her stories are on there as well. Within a day she can gain over several hundred subscribers, whereas everyone else strives to be as popular as her.

Sadly, I am not a hater, but there are flaws within her stories just like everyone else. She portrays most of her characters, the main protagonist—a heroine most likely—can be seen as a smart, bubbly girl who can do no wrong. Too bad that’s far from true. Yes, this is in fact fiction but have you ever met someone who can be described as perfect. I suppose it depends on the eye of the beholder but the average teenager, being that most are young protagonists to fit the age group of the idols that she eventually falls in love with.

Another thing on originality, not every ending should be happy. I will be the first to vouch for a happy ending but at times even the best of stories have sad endings, such as ‘A Walk to Remember’ by Nicholas Sparks. It didn’t end as happy as everyone had expected. You’ll have to read what happened though because I’m not going to spoil it for those who haven’t seen the movie or read the book before.
