Hana Pov

The rest of the day flew past. The bell rings and I leave the class I began to walk home alone “it’s weird I don’t understand why minsuk would care about me” my phone begins to ring I look at it and see my dad’s number I smile and answer it “Appa hello” I continue to walk “Hana are you on your way home?” I nod” yeah” he sighs” do you think you could stay out a little longer” I stop walking and frown ”why” he hesitates “ just do what I said don’t come home until I tell you ok ?” I sigh “ok “he sighs from relief “thanks i love you” I smile “love you too appa bye bye” he hangs up the phone and I look around now what am I supposed to do. I look across the street at a park I look both ways and cross the street I walk into the park and sit on a bench across from the playground. I take out my phone and text minsuk hi I put my phone down next to me and wait for a respond.

I look around all the tress are filled with leafs again I smile it’s the best time of spring it’s warm the flowers are out and it looks beautiful. I close my eyes moments like these make me want to live sitting here with my eyes closed hearing nothing but the wind and birds singing it makes life seem beautiful and worth living everything seems so much better with my eyes closed maybe it’s because I can’t see anything I don’t know life just seems much better but the truth is everything isn’t better just because I close my eyes it doesn’t make the bad things go away because when I open my eyes they are always there waiting for me I just hope that one day I can wake up and they won’t be there. I just want a normal life again that’s all I want. My phone vibrates and I open my eyes I look at my phone

Appa- you can come home now Hana.

I get up from the bench and begin walking home I soon reach my house and I walk inside “Appa im home” he comes out of the kitchen with a huge smile on his face “Hi little princess “I put my crutches on the floor and I plop down on the couch “why did you not want me to come home?” He walks back into the kitchen ignoring my question I sigh and give up “What’s for dinner?”  I get up and hop into the kitchen I sit on the stool and tao sits a plate in front of me “ surprise “
