[CONTENTID2]Description/Summary:
Leaving her life in America and moving to Seoul, South Korea was supposed to be easy and fun at the age of 13 going on 14, and it wasn’t, not really anyway. It has its moments of ups and downs. She was forced to make new friends, and down the street from her house she moved into lived a boy her age, Yang Seungho. Together, they became the best of friends and inseparable. They would constantly meet up and play basketball on the streets with Seungho’s little brother, Cheolyong whom she grew close to. He was like a little brother to her, since she was an only child. A month into living in Seoul, her mother found a job, and through her mother she met her other best friend, Bae Chanhyo who was 2 years younger. Much to their surprise, they all lived on the same neighborhood. Through Lin, Chanhyo met Seungho and Cheolyong. Chanhyo became rather close with Seungho’s little brother, who was 2 years younger. When Seungho and Cheolyong’s parents were off working, Seungho would have to watch over his little brother, but Lin and Seungho would pawn him off to Chanhyo to ‘babysit’ so that they could hang out.
Chanhyo got super close to Cheolyong that they became inseparable. He even developed a crush on her; and she did as well. But age was a problem for Chanhyo as she didn’t want to date younger guys. Will Cheolyong be able to prove to her that age is nothing but a number?
Freshman year of high school;; Lin and Seungho attended the same school having a lot of the same classes together. They did a lot of after school activities together to get extra credit so that maybe they’d get to finish school a little faster, and attend college classes and get a head start in life. Seungho was in the freshman basketball team, while Lin was in Choir and taking up hip-hop choreography. Lin was best friends with Gina, who was the captain of the cheerleaders for the basketball team and Yuri, who was a rich spoiled brat, but Lin never judged her for it. While Seungho had a crush on Lin since the day they met, Lin didn’t quite have the same feelings in return. Yuri on the other hand had strong feelings for Seungho since the middle of freshman year. Jung Byunghee, who was one of Seungho's childhood friends had a thing for Yuri considering he was sort of a player, who crushed a lot.
Sophomore year of high school;; Lin and Seungho continued to be the best of friends, as Yuri's love for Seungho grew. She knew of his love for Lin, but that surely did not stop her from loving him. When Lin wasn't around, she would continuously hang around him and begged him to give her a chance. Chanhyo entered the school in her freshman year alongside Lee Changsun, who was Seungho's best friend since childhood who also joined the basketball team with him. Yoon Dujun, Jang Hyunseung and Yong Junhyung also entered their freshman year and became rather close with Seungho and Changsun. Dujun joined the soccer team suddenly becoming the captain while Junhyung took up music as an elective with Byunghee. Chanhyo immediately joined the dance team taking hip-hop choreography with her best friend Lin, and Hyunseung who became their dance partner. Aside from that, Chanhyo also took Choir with Lin. Ailee as a freshman became the y cheerleader who constantly wanted to ruin people's lives and was Yuri's best friend.
Junior year of high school;; Yuri's consistent begging Seungho to give her a chance had prevailed for her since Seungho thought that becoming her boyfriend, it would get Lin's attention. Though Lin was developing deep feelings for her best friend after all these years--she didn't want to confess since Seungho had chosen Yuri, and since she finally had Seungho, she cut all ties with Lin considering she used her to get close to him. Lin started dating Yong Junhyung in the middle of junior year as her feelings for him erupted.
Senior year is supposed to be a whole new start; no not really as it's stressful with graduation and finals and everything in between. Lin's life will become a whirl wind for her as many things start to happen and happen quickly. Can she handle all the stress that will come with it or will she have a breaking point and have a mental breakdown as things become too hard?

Foreword
THIS IS WAR
“they say love is a battlefield, but in high school, it’s war!”
★ ☆ Main Characters ★ ☆
Lin Li:
She was born in America to a Korean Mother, and a Chinese Father; strictly learning both languages from her parents. She is fluent in 3 languages, speaking Chinese, Korean, and English. They moved to Seoul, South Korea when Lin was 13 going on 14 thinking that they'd live a better life; and because of her Father's job working in a big company. At first glance, she’s very humble about life. She’s sweet, caring, and very friendly with people she meets. She can be very blunt and straight to the point, she doesn’t like beating around the bush. She’s the type of person who would rather get told the truth than a lie. She chooses her friends wisely; has many acquaintances but her best friend being Yang Seungho since the day she moved to Seoul, and Bae Chanhyo due to their mother’s being the best of friends. Through-out high school—she was never really the popular type but she had a lot of friends. She’s an honor roll student, and does a lot of after school actives with Seungho. She takes choreography (hip-hop) and Choir since freshman year. Seungho had a crush on her since the first day she moved to Seoul and now they’re in their senior year of high school. What will become their relationship as friends? Will she accept him when he tells her how he feels or will her feelings be mutual? Or will her life crumble beneath her?
Bae Chanhyo:
She was born in America to a Korean mother, and an American father. She moved to Seoul with her mother at the age of 10 to live with her Aunt, due to her father’s death and her family going bankrupt in America. She’s a complex person; has an outward exterior of a ‘bad girl’. She’s very unique and bossy, sort of standoffish and shy. She can be violent at times but underneath all that, to her friends, she’s very cute and sweet. Once people actually get to know her as a person, she’s rather polite who is funny and quirky who likes making people she love and care about laugh. She’s silly and loves anything that’s cute and adorable. She has a pet Husky named Bunnie and loves animals; she loves to cook and eat. When it comes to boys—she’s pretty shy and cute.

He was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea to Korean parents and has younger brother named Cheolyong. He’s very passionate and loves everyone around him. He plays in the school basketball team as a shooting guard with one of his childhood friends Lee Changsun who is the captain. He’s an honor roll student who takes part in after school activities with his best friend Lin, since freshman year. He also had a crush on her since the day she moved to Seoul but never told her his true feelings; afraid of being rejected by the one who he truly loved and cared about. Senior year, he finally confesses to his best friend after breaking up with someone else. What will be the outcome? Will it be fated love or will something happen that will turn his whole life around?
Bang Cheolyong:
He was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea by Korean parents and has an older brother Seungho, who is his role model. He’s loving and caring towards his friends and family. He's had a major crush on Chanhyo since he met her when he was 10, her being forced to babysit him while the older kids went out to play. Every since then, they had been inseparable. He's best friends with Dongwoon, Cheondung and Yoseob. He loves dogs and snakes, having a brown one called Brownie. When it comes to girls he's pretty honest and insistent about his feelings.
