EPILOGUE;

Her eyes focused on every single detail there was to be seen, even looking at the tiny dust particles that floated around. It unnerved him how silent she was, but he kept his mouth shut for the time being and twiddled his thumbs. After another pregnant pause, he started shifting his feet around and felt all jittery.

Still, she said nothing.

"Do you... uh, like it?" Lu Han asked cautiously.

Yuri pursed her lips and squinted her eyes a bit. "It's..." she tried to find the right words.

"Actually, I have another place in mind which could be better. It has this really nice view and it's-,"

"I like it," she said finally, turning around to give him a quick kiss before walking to the bedroom. "So stop stressing, alright?"

He wanted to collapse right then and there, and then maybe get her back for making him worry so much. Lu Han had been the perfect boyfriend ever since he got her back and he wasn't planning on ruining it anytime soon. So he was practically running all around town trying to find the perfect place for the two of them to settle down since Yuri never owned a place of her own. 

"You'll be the end of me," he whispered tiredly to himself while crouching down to the floor to catch a break.

"LU!" She screamed and he immediately bolted towards her. "There's a jacuzzi in the bathroom!" she shrieked and he skidded to a stop.

Lu Han collasped onto the doorframe of the bathroom and watched her gush over everything. Anyone else would have been annoyed and even frustrated by now, but he couldn't help the smile that started to spread on his face. 

She looked so happy. 

"You know the best part?" she asked and he simply shrugged with his ever so present goofy grin. "Come here." She grabbed his wrist and led him to the closet. 

The interior looked like any other closet with all their clothes perfectly arranged, but she pushed past all that and opened a hidden compartment. He raised an inquisitive brow as she pulled it open.

"You've got to be kidding me," he scoffed but then couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Why the do you even still need that?"

The little latch opened an entire cabinet that held all types of guns and other weapons that could easily take down a mass of people if need be.

She shrugged with a small smile tugging at her lips. "Old habits die hard. Besides, what if we need protection-,"

"We won't ever need that," he slipped his arms around her waist. "You're completely safe as long as I'm around, alright?"

Yuri, at that moment, would have mentionned how he had almost killed her on their last encounter with Jung-Hwa, but that would be a low blow. Of course, before she wouldn't give a damn about anyone besides herself, even moreso if feelings were involved. 

But he looked too happy to just crush him like that.

"Alright," she whispered, her smile never fading. She turned around to face him without his arms leaving her side. 

"Are you happy?" he asked and she could hear the small tremble. 

He was nervous.

Ever since they were reunited, she saw the effort he made to make her as happy as possible. She was flattered by his upmost attention, but she felt that there was no need. All she wanted was for him to be as comfortable in their relationship as possible. 

"Very happy," Yuri raised herself on her toes to reach his lips, pecking them softly. 

He smiled back, just as content as she was.

Yuri then glanced back at her weapon filled closet and sighed. "I guess I should start getting rid of all those." 

"I'll help," he smiled before quickly kissing her pouty lips. 

As the two proceeded to remove the guns, there was a loud bang coming from the front of the house. The pair froze as they heard rapid footsteps coming towards them.

"YURI!" someone yelled.

The couple looked at each other. "Gun?"

Gun was Yuri's weapon speacialist who had quite the crush on her. Lu Han never liked the guy, but he couldn't help but feel bad for the little scrawny guy. Gun knew that she would never reciprocate his feelings.

"What is he doing here?" Lu Han asked quietly just as the door blew open.

Gun, wielding a handgun of his own pointed right at the couple who had already grabbed their own piece. "How could you?! Him over me?!"

"Are you kidding me?" Yuri groaned and lowered her gun.

"Yuri, what the hell," Lu Han panicked when she walked up to Gun. "Get back here!"

"Gun, darling, what are you doing with your life?" she asked rhetorically. She knew he couldn't do any real harm. He was a braniac and almost never did anything that included brawns. "I- HOLY CRAP!"

Gun had fired a shot in her direction but thankfully missed. His hands trembled as he tried to aim at her better, but he could only scream in pain as Lu Han shot his hand, causing the gun to go flying. 

"He just shot at me," Yuri muttered in disbelief. "A horrible shot, but still... At me."

"Go ahead! Kill me!" Gun shouted, his spit flying everywhere. "It's too late for you anyways! They know!" 

Yuri exchanged a glance with her beau before walking up to Gun. "Keep your eyes on him," she instructed before grabbing the back of the runt's head. He cried out in pain as she pulled at his roots just so he could look at her in the eyes. "Who knows?"

Gun chuckled. "Your... Your last two targets," he smiled widely. "They know your after them. They put a bounty on your head. They-,"

Yuri fired a shot without flinching and Gun's lifeless body fell to the ground. She stomped back to Lu Han who held her tightly. 

"You're ing crazy, don't do that again," he held onto her like his life depended on it.

"It's not fair," she cried.

"I know, I know," he shushed her. "You'll get a normal life, I promise,"

"No!" she pushed him away gently. "We have to move and I won't get to use the jacuzzi!"

He deadpanned. 

"Just- I..." he was at a lost for words. 

How stupid of him to think that she was actually afraid of people coming after her. How stupid of him to think that she was even worrying in the first place.

He ruffled his hair and let out a breath before pinching the bridge of his nose. "Pack your things, we're leaving in 10." He then walked over to the closet and grabbed all the guns. 

As much as he appreciated her attempt at lightening the situation, he couldn't just shrug the fact that there was a bounty over his girlfriend's head. He made a promise and he was going to keep it even if it meant his sacrificing his sanity. 

Lu Han grumbled angrily under his breath while packing his things, thinking about all the possible places they could hide out. He felt two slender arms slip around his waist before something warm pressed up against his back.

"I love you,"

He could always depend on her to make him smile again.

AUTHOR'S NOTE;

Probably the most crappiest epilogue ever, but I really tried to lightening the mood of such a dark themed story. Whether it was a good idea or not is up to you guys. I'm somewhat satisfied with it.

Also, I was so happy when I read your guys' comments! Even though there weren't a lot, it felt like a ton to me :) I really didn't expect you guys to be waiting so long on me and it makes me feel crappy for being gone so long.
