- Sungjong POV -

it's already been four days and three nights since i started living in the kim's household and everything is going smoothly so far, though i notice that minsoo-ah is still not comfortable with me though he would greet me when he would see me and he is actually polite when he would do that, he would make sure to avoid me and always on high alert when im around sigh i really want to be close to him though i want us to get along, but how can i do that when he is avoiding me and i really dont have a clue on how to approach him.

i also notice that minsoo is how do i say this somehow distant to his father and every one else other than sungyeol hyung and junnie, he is somehow too mature for his age and he doesnt speak much also and would always have his earplugs on his ears or playing on his phone or would be silently watching the tv, i guess somehow like myungsoo-ssi does it runs in the family or something? can someone tell me? though he would play with sungjun and that is when i would see minsoo smile and act like his age.

its not like im saying acting all mature is bad but sometimes you need to also be careless and just have fun you wont be young for a long time so better enjoy it while it last, i better find a way to somehow get close to him if i cant think of anything i'll ask my cutie pie baby for help kekeke sungjun is just usual all cute and always wanting to be near me and so attach to me, since we cant go to school at the same time we always go home together which made me always go home early from work. well it's fine anyway it's all good,

i would always read bed time story for him and play with him, take care of him basically im acting like a real mother to him and everything is alright with me because like usual i can never say no to him. as for myungsoo-ssi well the only chance of me seeing him is in the morning, since he would always be home late though i bump with him last night when i grab a glass of water since i suddenly got thirsty and right on time he just come home. i guess he was about to get some drink and he was actually shock to see me, aigoo remembering that night makes me blush

ah..uhm i just grab a glass of water

Myungsoo- ohh

uhh welcome home... ohmygod does that sound weird? since he looks taken aback and all that did i said something weird omg,

Myungsoo- ah... thank you

uhm so would you like some drink also? tea? water? coffee? cola?

Myungsoo- tea would do

oh okay, i hope you dont mind me making it for you and it might not be up to your taste since i dont know how you like your tea to be done.

Myungsoo- it's okay im sure yours would taste better than what i was planning to make for myself

ohh okay then just a minute

i open a few cabinets and after the second cabinet i opened i saw the tea's i took the box and saw that it's earl grey tea, i then look for the tea kettle and pour some hot water on it and put the ear grey tea in the tea kettle, once i put it aside and grab the tea cup and after a few minutes i pour some tea on the tea cup and put two cubes of sugar, stir it until the sugar is dissolve and handed it to myungsoo-ssi who is sitting the kitchen counter stool. it's a good thing that i finally handed him the tea cup when i saw him

we'll he already took off his tie and had his two upper shirt button undo and omg i can totally see his collar bones and it's so y and... and oh god he's sleeves are already folded up until his upper elbow, which made his biceps really noticeable i wanna touch it, it look so hard and strong and he put down his hair, and he looks like he just woke up or something and he messy look totally suit him oh god i need to stop this imagination of mine i cant afford to creep him out and drool right in front of him.

Myungsoo- actually it's a perfect fit to my taste, i can taste the earl grey yet it's not bitter and not too sweet just the way i like it, actually after all this year sungyeol and the maid's couldnt get it right but i didnt bother with it since it's still tea

Myungsoo- it would be good if sungyeol and the maid's learn this also

i could make it for you starting today

Myungsoo- oh no, dont want to trouble you

not much of a trouble, okay starting today i'll be the one in charge of making your tea's then

Myungsoo- you dont...

Myungsoo- what is it?

do you always go home this late?

Myungsoo- oh that, well it depends if i have a lot of files to look at i always want to finish it in my office but sometimes the reason i go home late is because i have a lot of business meeting's to attend

and that goes on everyday?

Myungsoo- yes

ohh, and you would also have work even on weekends arent you getting tired?

Myungsoo- i do get tired but i'm doing this for my sons so i dont have time to dwell on that.

i'm sorry for being too nosy

Myungsoo- i dont mind just think of it as my way to repaying your gratitude for accepting my request on living here and also making me tea

Myungsoo- yes? 

we planned to give out the invitation tomorrow but seeing how busy you always are i guess i'll just say it to you now while i can well next week on friday could you make some time and attend at our school event? sungjun would be part of a stage play and i'm sure he would be really glad if you could watch him. all member's of the family can come and watch so please do come.

Myungsoo- the 18th?

Myungsoo- i have a board meeting that day and a magazine interview

but the play wouldnt start until 2 pm so please if you could come even just watch until sungjun's performance that would be enough

Myungsoo- i cant promise anything sungjong-ssi i dont want to keep your hopes up.

but could you please try your best to be there?

Myungsoo- okay i will but dont expect too much.

thank you myungsoo-ssi, im sure sungjun would be very happy if you'll come and watch him dance and act

Myungsoo- ah yes.

anyway myungsoo-ssi have you ate already?

Myungsoo- yes i have i had a dinner meeting earlier before i went back to my office and get some paper works done.

Myungsoo- anyway it's quite late already we should call it a night already im sure you are already exhausted for the day

oh i'm sure you are more tired that i am, so i guess it really is time to go to bed goodnight myungsoo-ssi

i took my glass of water and head to the stairs we both parted ways just below the stairs since his room is on the first floor unlike mine and the kids, i bowed at him and said a one last good night and head up stairs. seriously last night i had a good dream and had a good night sleep. when i woke up earlier this morning; thanks to my morning alarm which is sungjunnie, i did my morning rituals and went down to the dining room with sungjun and went to the kitchen so i could make myungsoo-ssi's tea i didnt promise him i would be doing it from now on.

sungyeol hyung was against it at first and lets just say i was too stubborn and i won on our argument which made him lose and give up on trying to stop me kekeke, i was gonna help on cooking the breakfast also but sungyeol hyung had enough and told me to get out of the kitchen since im done making the tea, he is so stingy so early in the morning aigoo me and sungjun mehrong at him and went out of the kitchen and took a sit on our usual chair, after a few minutes minsoo arrives and took a sit and like usual sungjun greets him and he also greets us good morning. 

after a few minutes myungsoo-ssi then arrives wearing his dress shirt and was fixing his cuffs ugh why is he so hot early in the morning, once sungyeol hyung saw myungsoo-ssi already arrives he went to the kitchen to i guess get the tea i made for myungsoo-ssi. myungsoo-ssi then looks up and greet us good morning, sungjun then stand up and went to his father and kiss him and greets him a good morning, my baby junnie is so sweet and cute myungsoo-ssi is really lucky to have a son like junnie.

we all then started eating and i would secretly watch myungsoo-ssi and when i see him grab his tea cup and finally took a sip on his tea i see that he was taken a back kekeke i guess he didnt take what i said last night seriously, i shifted by gaze so that he wouldnt see that i was looking at him. i look at sungjun then and see that he is happily eating his food and when i look towards myungsoo-ssi i see him looking at me and our eyes met and i seriously feel my cheeks gone all hot so i look away.

after a few minute's myungsoo-ssi and minsoo excuse themselves i guess for today myungsoo-ssi would send minsoo to school since we didnt saw the other car outside when we send them off, after we send them off i went and get ready to leave also and of course sungjun is still sulking but not that much and he would be easily convince. once i got to school i started preparing for my class and helping hakyeon hyung preparing for his own class and also asking some advice for the stage play next friday 

once school ended i didnt have the chance to go home yet since i and hakyeon hyung are gonna talk about our class stage play more and think of an easy steps for the kids, when i told sungjun about it and that he needs to come home first he started crying and saying he doesnt want to go home if im not going home and since i really cant say no to him i let him stay and wait for hakyeon and i to finish. it was around 4:45 pm when we said it's a day and i said goodbye to hakyeon hyung, its around 5 pm that we got home

Sungjun- yeollie hyung!! we're home

Sungyeol- ohh welcome back sungjun-ah sungjong-ssi

sorry we got home late

Sungyeol- it's okay, i should be the one saying sorry for leaving sungjun to you when you have work to do and for troubling you

it's okay he wasnt disturbing us and actually while we were working he was with the other kids playing

Sungyeol- thats good to know then, anyway sungjun-ah you're stinky lets go you'll take a bath and change your clothes

Sungjun- can duckkie join?

Sungyeol- aigoo okay as long as you wont splash water on me.

Sungjun- yay!!

sungjun then run towards the stairs going to his room and sungyeol hyung runs after him and i just shake my head at them and head towards the stairs also, when i got to my room i put my bags on the study table i have and went to the bathroom and wash my hands and change my clothes when i open my curtain i saw downstairs that minsoo is already home and currently sitting on the coffee table in the garden with books scattered in the coffee table, i guess he is studying for his exams since it is exam week and tomorrow is the last day of examination

oh this might be my chance to get close with him yes i can go there and offer some help with his reviewing or studying, i really want to get close to minsoo and im not asking for him to be instantly close with me but somehow just let him be comfortable with me and let him know that i can be his friend or something with that aspect. i went down the stairs and went to the kitchen first to get some juice and snacks for minsoo i'll use this as an excuse to get near him i found some oranges and apples so i took it, i was cutting the orange when one of the maid arrives

Maid- omo sir please let me do that

oh no i can do this

Maid- but sir if sungyeol-ssi saw this i would be in trouble

oh dont worry i'll talk to him

Maid- sir but sungyeol-ssi would really get...

Sungyeol- min make some... sungjong-ah what are you doing 

oh sungyeol hyung i'm just cutting some fruits for a snack and...

Sungyeol- i know you are cutting fruits i mean why are you doing it by your self! min what are you doing letting sungjong-ssi do this on his own

Maid- ah..uhm i..im so sorry sungyeol-ssi but sir sungjong wont let me do it and insist that he would do it

Sungyeol- you still shouldnt let him do it tsk just go clean sungjun's bathroom as for you sungjong-ssi please give me that knife let and let me do it.

but hyung i can

Sungyeol- if sir myungsoo find out about this he'll get mad at us and might even fire us.

hul~ okay i'm sorry

i handed him the knife and he took it and started slicing the oranges that i left unsliced, he took a sit on the kitchen stool and watch him silently cut the fruits, once he was done cutting both the orange and apples he transferred it in a play and he then went to the fridge and took out some flavored water, he then put all of it in a tray and i was about to take it when he slap my hands away i pout at him and rub my stinging hand

Sungyeol- where do you plan to take this?

let me do it hyung please

Sungyeol- give me a good reason why

uhm well because im not part of this family so you dont have to serve me

Sungyeol- not good enough so where should i bring this?

ugh sungyeol hyung please, i want to bring it to minsoo to somehow get close to him

Sungyeol- minsoo?

hmp yes, i see that he isnt comfortable with me and i just want to be a little close to him or something like that

Sungyeol- sigh fine but that kid is a little unsociable

it's okay hyung it's worth the try right? i really want to be close with him, he is too mysterious for me and i just want to know more about minsoo

Sungyeol- okay if you insist, he cant be a little straight forward so dont take his words too much

he nods and handed my the tray, i took it and head to the garden and i see minsoo sitting on the coffee table while reading his book, he has his eye brow furrowed both of his hands are on his head and looks like he is pulling his hair, i guess all this studying and reviewing is making him frustrated. it really is time for him to take a quick break because if not im sure his brain would explode or he'll loose all his hair

excuse me minsoo-ah i brought some snacks why dont you take a break first

i see him get stiffed when he heard my voice, he then turn his head and looks at me. he is really too guarded and doesnt really feel comfortable with me but i will try my best to change that and somehow let him feel at ease with me. he look at me for a minute and turn his head back to the book in front of him.

Minsoo- why did you bring it instead sungyeol hyung or the maids?

uhm well they are all busy so i volunteered to do it i'm not doing anything anyway and sungjun is still taking a bath

Minsoo- oh

so will you please take a break and have some snack with me? 

Minsoo- sigh i guess

he the closed the book he was reading and put it on the side and he did the same with the other books on the table and put it all up in the side i put down the tray i was holding on the table and i grab the bottle of the flavored water and uncap it and pour some in the glass and handed it to minsoo he took it and put it on the table and took the saucer and also the fruit tongs

what would you like minsoo-ah? orange or apples?

Minsoo- apples please

okay then 

I then put few pieces of apples on the saucer and handed it to minsoo he took it and said his thanks silently, he is still guarded with me around yet he isn't rude or impolite when he finally do speak to me, though this is the first time that he properly spoke to me and actually a few sentence longer, he would always avoid me and be locked up in his room. He silently ate the apples I gave him while he reads his notes I pulled one of the chair and sit beside him, he looks at me for a minute but then resume reading his notes, sigh how will I approach him?

i started eating the slices of orange i put on my saucer, as i eat my orange i see minsoo creasing his eyebrows and as he read his notebook he keeps on sighing and keep on groaning, i look at him and on his left arm he is holding his book as his right arm is writing on a pad paper and when i look at it i found out that he is trying to solve a geometry problem, i guess he is having trouble with remembering the formula which is the most important thing because without it you would really have a hard time solving the geometry
