- Minsoo POV -

like usual i went to my school after i ate my breakfast and escape from our driver. i really dont like being drive off into my school, even though im going into a private school and elite school students would still look at me whenever i get drop off by our car. i prefer to silently go to school without other students noticing me enter the school gate i have enough of their stares during break time and during my physical education class. it's really annoying to be greeted by screaming girls and being stared at early in the morning.

it's not like my face would change every single day and it's not like it's the first time they will see me, anyway this week is our exam week, our last one for this semester actually and after this we'll have our break winter break to be exact. i actually cant wait for it so that i can sleep late in the morning and laze around the house and hang out with my friends. our first examination would be on wednesday so this monday and tuesday it would be our review class, which would mean that we would just be stuck during self study.

anyway it's already lunch break and i went to my usual table where all my friends are sitting at, when i got near them i see them goofing around and talking about some of their crazy ideas and in fact chanyeol is the master mind of all the craziness my friends do and think off. i put down my tray and took a seat beside hyuk, hyuk is our band manager and they all nod at me as i silently eat my food and listen to what they are talking about.

Hyuk- minsoo later we have a gig you up to it?

huh? i thought you wont accept any offer since it's exam week

Hyuk- they doubled the payment i cant say no to that anyway it would be the last one for this week so it's okay i guess

ohh okay sure dude

Hyuk- thats good to know i dont know where i'll find a replacement if you wont say no. plus there would be a huge decrease of sales if they found out you wont be there.

Kai- well minsoo has a lot of fans to begin with

Sehun- yeah and the band wouldnt be this successful if it werent for those fans

Baekhyun- excuse me we got famous because of my awesome voice

Hyuk- excuse me it's because of my awesome skill of selling you guys!

Hongbin- eww baek awesome voice?

Chanyeol- yah bean my baekkie has one of the awesome voice in the world

aisht shut up guys! just eat your lunch we got famous because we are good and thats it! so shut your mouths already.

Sehun- someone's cranky

you guise are just too noisy it's irritating

i said and they all immediately quiet down since they know what i'll do if i got too irritated and they dont really like seeing me like that, minhyuk who was silently eating his food just nod at my statement agreeing to me that the others were being noisy, anyway kai is one of our friend one of our promoter, sehun is our fan manager and hongbin is one of our stylist. since they all shut up i continue eating my lunch and once im done i said my good byes to them

i need to go guys i'll just see you after my cram school

Hyuk- i'll send you the venue so get your there as soon as possible okay minsoo?

Hyuk- okay see you later

i then gathered my food tray and gave it back to the cafeteria attendant, i then exit the cafeteria and walk to the library to have a peace of mind, i like being with my friends but sometimes they are too noisy and the stares we are getting at in the canteen is just pissing me off, and im sure if i start a minute longer girls would start approaching me. once i got to the library i went to the far end corner and took a sit on the table, i want to go to the music room but if one of the teachers see me im sure they will report it to my dad.

dad is against us touching any music instrument for some reason, ever since umma... sigh how long was it again? 5 years? i was only 8 years old that time aisht this is the only problem when im alone i cant help but think about umma, i was still young and i really dont understand what was happening during that time. sigh i dont hate dad though it's just that im mad how he doesnt have time for me and sungjun and how he always get my hopes up before when i told him about my ceremony that he needs to go and attend.

he would always say he would go and be there but when the ceremony starts he isnt there and instead sungyeol hyung is there, i guess after all those trying im tired and give up i still inform him about my awards and school ceremony but i long give up that dad would be there and actually care about it. all he cares about is his precious company and not us, i realize that a long time ago. sigh i guess the reason why im playing the guitar and part of the band is because i want to somehow rebel but whatever. when school ended i went to my cram school and actually today is our last day today we'll get our grades and our outline.

- time skip -

once my cram school ended i gathered my things putting my exam results and also the certificate they gave me for being first in class again and close my bag and head to the exit of the cram school and i was about to call hyuk when i see my friends standing just outside of my cram school, goofing around and see some girls surrounding them. what are they doing here? i walk towards him and when they saw me they all smiled and kai then slug his arm around my shoulder. ugh i feel like the whole world is on my shoulder

dude get your arms off my shoulder you're freaking heavy!

Kai- tsss is this how you would greet us after we wait for you for about an hour?

why are you here anyway?

Hyuk- we decided to just wait for you and we all go to the club together instead of waiting for you there

it would have been easier if you just send me the location, look you guys are creating a commotion people are looking at you guys

Hongbin- we're used to it already, dont tell me you still aint used to it? like come on you're the most popular in our group

Kai- excuse me i'm the most popular in this group

im used to it but that doesnt mean i like it.

Sehun- dude i think you're the only one who doesnt like the attention and popularity you have.

i just dont like being watch every minute. its creepy and irritating

Chanyeol- totally feel you, i cant have some alone time with baek without girls interrupting us and all those

Hongbin- i think it's only right for those girls to interrupt you two because you might baek on the spot

Baekhyun- YAH! can we not talk about that and excuse me we havent done that yet we are still too young for that

kekeke enough guys what time would we play?

Hyuk- around 6:15 pm

okay lets go for a snack first before going to the club i'm hungry

Sehun- your treat?

why do i have to treat you all? if i have to then i'd rather go alone

Kai- stingy! come on dude you're rich anyway

wrong it's not me who is rich by my dad.

Sehun- tomahto - tomato it's the same so come on treat us dude

dude you guys are also rich why should i be the one who always treat you all? 

Kai- because you're family is wealthier than us

after saying that i started heading to the nearest restaurant and i can feel that all my friends are following behind me, once we got inside the restaurant we look around for an empty table that could fit us all, when we found a table we all took a sit and start looking at the menu, then ordered our food and once it arrive we started eating while occasionally teasing one another and talking about what we would play later, when we are done eating and its time to pay our bill these so could friends of mine made a run for it and i have no choice but to pay for their food also.

once i got out of the restaurant i see them all standing and leaning by the street barricade, they were all smirking a me and i just roll my eyes on them and come closer to them and one by one smack their heads and they all groan and rub the part i smack them, i just laugh at them since they deserve it. once they stop whining we all head to the club. we still need to get ready and set up our instrument then rehearse. when we got to the club we saw the long line at the entrance and it's a good thing we can use the back entrance.

once we are all inside the club we change our clothes that hongbin prepared for us and then baekhyun started applying some light make up on us and we then went to the stage to check it up and see that sehun, kai, hyuk, jung shin, henry and daehyun are done setting up. henry, jung shin and daehyun are also our friends and they're the ones who is in charge of bringing the instrument we would use and setting up the instruments. when they saw us they greet at us and handed us our instrument, we started practicing the songs we'll play

mine sounds good already

Chanyeol- i think mine needs a few adjustment

Minhyuk- mine needs to adjust the volume it's too muffled for my liking.

Henry- copy that we'll adjust it now

Hyuk- okay guys off the stage the event is about to start, we'll play after the first two acts.

we got down the stage and went to our waiting room, once we got to our waiting room i took a sit on the couch and minhyuk and daehyun took a sit beside me and then hyuk come and sat on top of us, i look at minhyuk and daehyun and gave them a knowing look then they nod and smirk, i grab hold on to hyuk's leg daehyun hold on to hyuk's body and minhyuk then started giving hyuk a nuggie, chanyeol then join in and started hitting hyuk's and sehun sat on hyuk's back, hyuk keep on shouting and telling us to stop but we just keep on laughing at him and bully him.

Hyuk- aisht you guys are all

we laugh at him as he tries to fix his clothes and hair, he also rubs his head im sure that hurts. daehyun then nudge me and pointed at chanyeol and baekhyun, apparently those two are on their own world again and kai and daehyun started teasing the two and i just laugh at them, minhyuk and i just watch at them and laugh at their dorkiness. minhyuk and i are alike in our group we are the least talkative, we are contented with just watching them and once a while join in with their craziness

when we heard the music start playing we all agreed to go out and watch the performance, we went to the bar side and watch the performer before us, the performer started singing and actually they are good they have a nice voice and the next performer were dancers and seriously they were good even kai and sehun agreed they are good coming to the best and main dancer of our school. the organizer called us and we all went at the back and get ready the others stayed behind and wished us luck, when we got to the stage the crowd then started screaming and chanting our name. 

minhyuk started playing his drums and the crowd scream even louder, chanyeol and i started playing our guitars and baekhyun then started singing, people sing together with baekhyun and i just bob my head and silently sing along with baekhyun. we played four songs and once we are done playing we all bow down and went down the stage, the whole club resonating with their chant and screaming. hongbin and hyuk handed us towels and water then went to our waiting room.

i grab my uniform and change back to my school uniform. once im done changing to my uniform i handed it back to hongbin and i took a sit on the couch next to chanyeol and he slung his arm around my shoulder, i took a sip on my water and they didnt have to change their clothes like me since their parents know what we are doing and they arent against with our band, unlike me im hiding this to dad and everyone else in our house, no one know about this and i dont plan on telling it to anyone.

Kai- woah! daebak! you guys did a good job! the whole crowd was all hyped up

Henry- yeah, they were totally wild! they keep on chanting your names! 

Daehyun- well done guys

Kai- it's time to celebrate!

Jung Shin- lets go eat im hungry

Hyuk- okay my treat you guys get our things packed!

All- YES!!

we all stand up and pack our all things and we all went out of the club and handed the instrument to henry's driver so that he can load it to the car, after hyuk got our payment and he handed us our share, but like usual i gave them back my share like i said i dont need the money im in because i got to play. we all went to our favorite restaurant and order our food. once we got our food we started eating and like usual while we eat they just have to be noisy and rowdy so the people in the restaurant are looking at us, i look at my wrist watch and saw that its already 8 pm

Baekhyun- what happen?

its 7:45 pm!

Chanyeol- yeah so?

i need to go home!

Hyuk- why?

dude i should be home at 7 pm! 

Sehun- but it's not like your dad will know you said he'll always go home late

he does but...

Hyuk- then there's no problem right?

aisht you guys dont get it, anyway i'll go home first bye guys

Chanyeol- dude come on stay here im sure uncle isnt home yet

i cant, so bye see you tomorrow!

i said while i stand up and get my bag and went out of the restaurant i didnt listen to their whining and said goodbye to them, i went and hailed for a cab and told the driver my address and after 15 minutes i finally arrive at my house, i just hope dad is still at his company like usual, i open the door silently and took my shoes off and silently walk inside the house i was gonna pass by the living room but then i stop at my tracks when i see dad sitting on the living room couch.

of all the days why does he have to be home early? ugh when he saw me comes home his facial feature harden and he look at his wrist watch and motion me to come closer to him, perfect im so dead. i slowly walk towards him and once im near him i drop my head and look at the ground. why is he even home this early normally he wouldnt be home this early yet, tsk why isnt luck on my side today. i gulp down as i wait for dad to speak

Myungsoo- do you know what time it is minsoo

its 8 pm

Myungsoo- and what time would your cram school end?

6:30 pm

Myungsoo- so its been an hour and thirty minutes ago. im not forbidding you to hang out with your friends but atleast have the decency to tell me i am still your father minsoo. is it too much trouble for you to send a message to me?
