But she was wrong. Since then, Lay went to find her, visited her class, asked for her to her friends. She was tired. Sungjae saw it from a far and went after Kara. “Hi,” Sungjae said. He met Kara in the cafeteria and Kara couldn’t help but look to him. She replied. “What happened?” he asked.

“Nothing,” Kara answered that because it was none of his business anyway.

“As a friend, maybe I can help,” Sungjae offered her a help but she ignored him.

“No, thanks,” she said and smiled, left him standing there staring at her going away.

She chose her seat then Jinyoung joined her in. “What do you want again?” Kara said to him sharp. Jinyoung was surprised by her current mood. It was so bad that Jinyoung had to get a bad intonation from her.

“Nothing,” Jinyoung said and just accompanied her eating her food. Then Jongdae and Tae came. Kara was grateful there were her friends with her but if they asked about Lay, she couldn’t help but had to leave them wondering.

Jinyoung signed to Jongdae and Tae to not ask anything about Lay and they understood that. They just talked about another thing and tried to recover Kara’s mood. Lay didn’t come to her at that time, but he saw that scene and her expression. He sighed. She still couldn’t let go of it.

“Hi,” Lay said after Kara was getting out from class. “Let’s go home,” Lay held her hand again and she couldn’t refuse because people saw them, she didn’t want to make any fuss about it.

“Could you stop?” Kara said after they arrived at the parking lot. Lay looked at her.

“I couldn’t,” he answered. “I can’t,” he said. Kara started to hate it then Lay moved to her closer, “What do you think of me?” he asked it to her seriously. She avoided his gaze.

“I think you know the answer,” she answered it sharply. Lay sighed and smirked.

“I hope you see me as a man,” he said. Then Kara left him quickly. Then, he lost his chance to keep her with him.

His mom called her again because she found out that Kara didn’t take her things yet, “Come and take your things. Don’t forget again,” his mom chuckled and Kara replied too. Guess, she couldn’t help but had to come to his house just for her things.
