“What’s wrong Bbom ah?” Chorong asked with a concerned voice as the two walked to school together the day after their horseback riding adventure. She sensed that something was off about Bomi as Bomi was once again back to the untalkative Bomi.

“Huh? Oh. Nothing unnie. I’m fine.” Bomi replied after returning from her trance.

“You can talk to me Bbom ah, I’ll be here for you you know that right?”

Bomi just nodded.

“Hey! Cheer up! I’ll treat you to ice-cream today after school!”

After hearing Chorong’s suggestion, Bomi smiled. Chorong’s pep talk has definitely helped her gain confidence for tonight’s battle. “Thanks! But sorry unnie, I have something planned today after school. Maybe some other time? Ah! There’s Eunji! Let’s go catch up!”

Chorong shook her head at how quickly Bomi’s mood changed. Bomi’s never rejected my offers before Chorong though sadly. What are you thinking Park Chorong! Bomi’s probably busy too! Don’t be selfish!

“Hey Eunji, can I tag along with you today after school? I’ve got nothing to do~~ And Bomi said she was busy~” Chorong pulled out her aegyo in order to convince Eunji.

Eunji made a face. The two of them always did that to her. Yet who could say no to their aegyo? “Ugh unnie. Stop it with that voice!” Chorong pouted. “Sure you can tag along unnie, but I was kind of going to go out with Naeun today…”

Chorong’s face suddenly lit up. “How long have you guys been going out?”

“Umm… a while… probably about a month? Wae?”

“...And you haven’t introduced her to me yet?!” Chorong suddenly put Eunji in a headlock. “Do you think that’s right Eunji yah?” She said with a sweet voice.

“Un-unnie! Le-et gooo!!! OK! I’LL INTR-TRODUCE YOU!” Chorong released Eunji with a triumphant smile. “You’re stronger than that gorilla.” Eunji muttered.

Chorong ignored her. “Don’t try to run away from me after school Eunji-yah, you’ll have to deal with the consequences. Chorong gave her a small smile.

Gulp!

-At the Cafe-

“Naeunnie, meet Chorong unnie. She’s my other best friend aside from that gorilla who you’ve met already.” Eunji introduced the two somewhat involuntarily. She was hoping to spend the time with her girlfriend alone.

“Ah! You’re that unnie who’s always here with the cute guy!” Naeun was currently in her fangirl mode.

Cute guy? What are you talking about Naeunnie~ I’m the only one that you’re suppose to be calling cute T.T Eunji nudged Naeun lightly causing Naeun to turn more serious. “Uh, nice to meet you Chorong unnie. I’m Son Naeun, Eunji’s girlfriend.” Naeun then proceed with a bow.

“Nice to meet you Naeun! I can’t believe you guys have been dating for a month and Eunji hasn’t told me anything about you!” Chorong smiled at Naeun before gesturing for her to sit down and then glared at Eunji.

Eunji gulped. She didn’t know what to be expecting from this conversation, but she had a feeling it wasn’t going to go the way she wanted it to.

“Kyaa~~ Eunji unnie was so cute!” Naeun exclaimed as Chorong showed her old embarrassing pictures of Eunji. Eunji was now sitting with her head on the table and her hands covering her head in order to hide her embarrassment.

Naeun turned to look at Eunji and said with a serious tone, “Unnie what happened to you? You were so cute…” Eunji looked up at her speechless as she tried to process what Naeun just said. Did she mean that? Am I not cute enough for her? Eunji pouted.

Seeing the look on Eunji’s face, Naeun and Chorong couldn’t help but laugh out loud. The two girls had bonded surprisingly quickly, much to Eunji’s surprise. Truthfully speaking, she had hoped that the two of them would be slightly awkward with each other so things wouldn’t get out of hand. But… nothing ever turns out as planned right?

“Unnie!~~” Eunji begged Chorong to stop embarrassing her in front of her girlfriend.

“What is it Eunji? Naeun doesn’t mind me showing her old pictures of you, do you Naeun-ah?”

Naeun shook her head. “Unnie! Could you send me some of those? Here’s my number!” Naeun took Chorong’s phone and put her number in.

Nooooooooo~~~ Wait… Does my Naeun give away her phone number that easily? First Bomi, now Chorong… What is this? I definitely have to talk to her about this…

Chorong glanced at Eunji and smirked, “Of course Naeun-ah, I’ll do it straight away when I get home!”

“Thanks unnie!” Naeun was really glad to have met Chorong today. She was so different from Eunji’s other friend Bomi. So much more approachable and friendly. She felt like she understood so much more about Eunji’s life. She began to feel more like she was a part of her life. She felt… H.A.P.P.Y.

Looking at the time, Chorong stood up. “I don’t want to bother your date any more today. Haha, Eunji yah, treat Naeun well. I give you my stamp of approval!”

“Why do you sound like you’re my mom or something” Eunji muttered.

“I can hear you Eunji yah.”

“Thank you so much unnie! I’m glad you approve! Let me lay out a carpet for you and you out of here safely.” Eunji said with an overly cheerful tone.

Chorong made a face. “Your sarcasm… It’s almost as bad as Bomi’s.”

Naeun whispered to Eunji, “Unnie, be nice!” Then proceeded to stand up and gave Chorong a bow. “It was a pleasure meeting you today unnie. Hopefully we’ll meet again some time. You have my number so you can contact me at any time.”

“Awww Naeun-ah you’re so cute!” Chorong couldn’t help but pinched Naeun’s cheeks. “Why in the world are you dating this kid?” Chorong whispered to Naeun causing Naeun to giggle.

“Unnie! I can hear you!” Eunji glared at Chorong.

“Haha, I’ll see you guys later! Bye Eunji! Bye Naeunnie!”

“Bye!” The two younger girls responded simultaneously.

Only I’m allowed to call her Naeunnie T.T

“Eunji unnie! Chorong unnie was so nice! She’s so different from the other one… uh Bomi!” Naeun turned to Eunji after Chorong has left the cafe.

“Chorong unnie is the responsible, smart one, of course you two got along well. Bomi’s a good kid too! She’s just well… a kid…” Eunji explained.

“Ah! Is that why the two of you get along so well?” Naeun said teasingly with a small smile.

“Yeah! That’s why we’re best friends!” Eunji said proudly, but then realized what Naeun was suggesting. “Are you calling me childish!”

“Hehe Unnie, you know yourself better than I do.”

Eunji pouted. Then she remembered that she had wanted to ask Naeun something earlier.

“Naeun-ah, uhh… do you always give your number out so easily?”

Naeun saw the concern on Eunji’s face but didn’t know what she was talking about.

“You know, first you gave your number to Bomi, and then today you gave it to Chorong unnie…” Eunji looked down at her fingers.

“Unnie! Are you jealous?” Naeun found a jealous Eunji to be incredibly cute.

“NO!” Eunji responded quickly.

“Ah, how cute! Unnie, I did give to to Bomi but she gave it to you remember? And as for Chorong unnie, well, she’s your best friend! Plus I really wanted those pictures of you! You were so cute!”

“But… I mean, what about other times?” Eunji wasn’t convinced.

Naeun looked sad. She was a little upset that Eunji didn’t trust her. “Unnie, do I really look like an easy girl to you?”

“No Naeunnie, it’s not that, it’s just… well…”
 

“What is it unnie?” Naeun was curious.

“It’s just that… well… you’re perfect. I’m afraid someone will take you away from me.” Eunji looked down again embarrassed. Dang it Jung Eunji! You embarrassed yourself more than Chorong unnie did. While she was pitying herself for embarrassing herself, Naeun has shifted herself next to her.

Eunji was surprised when she heard a whisper next to her ear. “Unnie, you’re the only one for me.” She then felt someone give her a peck on her cheek. That was the last sensation she felt before she passed out.

“The two of them are so cute!” Chorong exclaimed to herself as she began walking home. Chorong has confirmed herself to be a supporter of the 2eun ship after her meeting with Naeun, Eunji’s girlfriend. “When am I going to be in a relationship like that???” she exclaimed in frustration. “Too bad nobody likes me that way…”

(If she only knew.)

As she was walking by the park, she saw a familiar figure.

Is that Bomi? She was about to walk towards her when she saw another familiar figure. Oh! It’s Yifan oppa! Why are they together? I thought Bomi said she was busy today after school?

Ah! They must be on a date! Chorong felt her heart wrench a little as the idea of them being on a date hit home. Why does my heart feel like this? It must be because I’m mad that Bomi didn’t tell me ahead of time. Pabomi! You’re going to get it from me tomorrow!

Chorong decided not to interrupt the date between the two. She felt a little betrayed that neither has told her about their relationship. Why hadn’t I noticed their interactions before? Is that why they’re always awkward when they’re together in front of me? Why am I not feeling happy for them? Why does my heart hurt a little.

Well, anyways, since my last chapter may or may not be up to par, here’s a slightly longer update before the battle (which may or may not be a long chapter)! Hope you guys like it! Oh! And any suggestion would be welcome! I may or may not be able to update soon as I’ll be going on my senior trip to NYC this week! Thursday to be exact.
