My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

Sometimes, people don't notice other people unless they've made an impact on their lives. That was the same for Krystal and Minhyuk.

Krystal walked into her first class after lunch and on her way to her seat, she was very surprised to see a face she recognized.

"Kang Minhyuk?" The shock was very evident in Krystal's voice.

The said person looked up from his notes, confusion etched on his face, but he brightened when he saw Krystal. "Oh, Jung Soojung. Er, I mean Krystal."

"What are you doing here?" They asked each other simultaneously. They looked at each other in surprise. Minhyuk motioned to Krystal to speak first.

"This is my class."

Minhyuk blinked. "Well, this is my class too."

"Hold up." Krystal made a time-out gesture. "How come I never noticed you?"

He smiled a knowing smile. "Maybe because you didn't know I existed."

She let out a small laugh and replied, "Uh, well, at least I know you now."

Smiling, he asked, "Where do you sit?"

She looked towards the back and frowned when she realized who was sitting there. The last person she wanted to see. Her ex-boyfriend.

Behind her, Minhyuk peered over her shoulder and caught sight of Kai. After hesitating for a moment, he offered, "Would you like to sit next to me?" He lightly patted the empty seat next to his.

Krystal looked at him in surprise; although he was a very nice person, she didn't really know him. At all. "Um,” she hesitated. She didn’t really like sitting in the middle which was where Minhyuk sat, but due to current circumstances, she really didn’t want to sit in the back anymore.

She looked back at her original seat and accidentally locked eyes with Kai. Her breath catching in , she couldn't pull away from his captivating gaze. Only when he looked away first was Krystal able to unfreeze, but she was in a daze and felt breathless.

"Krystal? Are you okay?" Minhyuk snapped his fingers in front of her, snapping her out of her daze.

"Huh? Yeah, um, nobody sits here?" she clarified. When he shook his head, she decided, "Then I'm sitting here." She dropped her belongings onto the desk and plopped herself down on the chair.

For the rest of the period, she rested her head on her arms, looking but not listening to the professor whatsoever. She felt slightly bad for ignoring Minhy
