Even though some weight has been lifted, nothing really changed. She still had uneasy feelings and slept no different than usual: with constant nightmares. Again, she had visible bags under her eyes as she walked towards the bus stop. Although Nichkhun was really nice to her and comforted her, she still didn’t want to let her guard down. Who knows if all he did was just an act to crush her walls and break her. Today she was wearing a soft grey knit sweater with black jeggings and her pair of red TOMS. She bid goodbye to Byul and walked towards the bus stop. When the bus arrived, she swiped her card and got in.

 

When she arrived, she walked into the building and headed for her first lecture, Child Respiratory. The class was half-full already and the professor was already there, getting prepared. She got a seat at the very edge of the 8^th row and took out her laptop. As she was opening her email, she felt a presence sitting on the empty seat beside her.

 

“Morning,” Khun greeted. Jiwon looked to her side and nodded. She was a bit happy that he was there, but still felt uneasy by his presence. She wasn’t used to this kind of treatment from somebody, yet alone from a guy. Remembering yesterday’s occurrences, she avoided his gaze to hide her embarrassment. She still couldn’t believe how weak she was around him.

 

Class went for 2 more hours before the bell rang signaling a small break before the next class. Jiwon quickly packed her stuff and head outside. Nichkhun who was slower at packing up couldn’t help but wonder why she’s avoiding him. When all of his stuff was packed, he quickly ran out and followed Jiwon from behind. He noticed her eye bags that were literally 10cm long and her pale tired face. He didn’t recall running a marathon with her yesterday, so why does she look so tired?

 

A couple classes later, school ended as Jiwon walked towards the entrance of the institute. She couldn’t help but fall asleep in some of her lectures because of how tired she is from the constant nightmares and bad immune system. She knew she was about to get a fever, so she tries sleeping it away during class. On the other hand, Nichkhun really felt uneasy because she hasn’t talked to him once. Did he do something wrong? Why is she avoiding him? Nichkhun kept following her as she dizzily walked out.

 

Before Jiwon could step out of the institute, someone bumped into her.

“Yah! Can’t you watch where you’re going?!” a girl yelled as she got up.

 

Her friends were dusting off the dirt from her $200 jeans as she scolded Jiwon. Nichkhun who saw what happened quickly ran towards her.

 

“Jiwon! You okay?” He asked, helping her up.

 

Miyoung looked towards the tall figure in front of her and can’t help but squeal.

 

“Oppa~ You were looking for me right?” She asked, latching on to his arm while pushing Jiwon away.

 

Jiwon fell on her bum, as she was getting dizzier by the second. She immediately realized that her fever has kicked in. Nichkhun gave Miyoung a death glare as he pushed her away.

 

“Can you stop? It’s really annoying,” Nichkhun said.

 

Miyoung chuckled as she once again latched onto his arm.

 

Nichkhun was about to push her away again when he saw Jiwon on the floor, squinting her eyes as she held her dizzy head.

 

“Are you okay?” Nichkhun asked as he crouched down towards her.

 

He grabbed her face with both of his hands and pulled away at the burning touch. Her face literally felt like hot stove. Miyoung looked toward the two in immense jealousy. A girl was literally flirting with her man right in front of her eyes!

 

“Yah! Let go of my man !” Miyoung yelled as she pushed Jiwon down again.

 

Jiwon was annoyed at the that kept pushing her around. If her head didn’t hurt like hell, she would’ve already killed her. Anger washed over Nichkhun as he saw what Miyoung had done.

“Yah! What the is your problem?!” Nichkhun yelled, catching everyone’s attention, as they looked his way.

 

He could feel the stares and glared at the people around him. They all quickly walked away, scared of his glare. He quickly helped Jiwon up and let her lean on him as they walked towards his car. Miyoung who was left completely speechless ran behind him with her friends.

 

“Oppa! Don’t leave me!! I love you~ Don’t go with that !!” Miyoung yelled as she hurried her steps to catch up to Khun who was already in the car.

 

Nichkhun ignored her and told the driver to quickly drive.
