‘cling cling’

The bell above the door ringing and Xiumin and Jessica swiftly turn their head together, to look at the customer. There he is, the jet black haired man, who’s wearing a blue stripe white shirt walking into the café with a smile. His dimple showing off once again as he bowing towards them.

“Lay…” Xiumin whispers but Jessica manages to catch it. “Lay? Isn’t he Zhang Yixing? Like, the famous young designer in Asia?” Jessica asking him and turns her head to Xiumin’s side but that man already walking towards Lay and soon she hears the two men are laughing and hugging each other.

“Yo man! It’s been a long time! Oh My God Lay, you’re changing so much! You’re much aging more than me!” Xiumin exclaims while head locking the younger’s head. Lay only laughs while his hands trying hard to release himself from Xiumin’s strong head-lock.

“Ya! Ya! Ya! Is this the way to greet your old best friend?” Lay slapping Xiumin’s arm by the time Jessica get closer to them with a smile. “Your friend always been like this, Zhang Yixing-ssi.” Then, with her sweet smile, she’s pinching Xiumin’s chubby cheeks till the man release Lay from his tight grips.

“Hyunnie! Seohyunnie! Yah! Lay is here!” Xiumin shouting at the top of his lungs, calling out for Seohyun who standing between the bookshelves. Seohyun popping out her head with a warm smile towards Lay.

“I-I come for Seohyun…” Lay shyly confesses and rubbing at the back of his head. Xiumin are looking at the two, back and forth. “Wait, are you here to look for Seohyunnie?” Xiumin asking the younger lad while crossing his arm over his chest and tapping his foot impatiently, waiting for their answer. He looks like a disciple who asking his students.

“Seohyun! Why don’t you tell Oppa that you met this boy?!” Xiumin begin to pout as Jessica only patting his shoulder. Seohyun only sticking out her tongue while rubbing her palms against each other, as the way she asking for an apology.

“Well Minseok. You deserve to be forgotten.” Jessica chuckles at her statement before turn to Lay. “Err, can I ask you something? Aren’t you Mr. Zhang Yixing, a designer for XYZ’s Collection?” Jessica asking him with her big adorable cat eyes while eyeing him in glee.

Lay only can nods his head shyly with a shy smile. Oh, he looks cute! Jessica gasping as Xiumin eyeing him from head to toe in disbelief. How could he believe his blunt old best friend are one of the famous designer in Asia? “Oh Lay, you’ve gotta be kidding me!” Xiumin knocking down his head and smacking him. Seohyun walks closer with her questionable expression written all over her face.

“XYZ’s Collection?” Seohyun asking from behind as Jessica nods eagerly and grinning foolishly. He is her favourite designer and always following his development! She loves all of his designs and collections so much! His work’s art are incredible and amazing! As if he’s understand what women nowadays need!

“XYZ stands for Zhang Yi Xing. So he used the capital letter as the name of his collection.” Jessica whispers to her as she nods her head. She didn’t know that Lay is a designer, no wonder why the shop helper were astounding when they first saw him. Now she know why.

“Yah Zhang Yixing! Why don’t you tell me?!” Seohyun marching towards him and knocking his head once again in annoyance, right after he’s freed himself from Xiumin. Xiumin’s laughter filling the atmosphere while Lay asking for Seohyun’s forgiveness meanwhile Jessica couldn’t stop from adoring him.

“Ah, before I’m forget, meet her, Jessica Jung. Wife of Kris Wu.” Xiumin introducing Jessica who’s smiling shyly when they both are shaking their hands together. “I love all of your designs, Mr. Zhang and I’m really please get to see you lively, I-I mean, in real life! I’m even thought that Kris was joking with me when he said he’s befriend with a designer that I’m really adored! He was right!” She says in gleaming as her face radiant with the happiness. Xiumin snorts at her statement and rolling his eyes.

“Thank, thank you so much Jessica-ssi. You may call me Lay, since we’re friends now. And wait, WHAT?! Are you really Kris hyung’s wife?! Oh Lord! I didn’t have any idea that stupid, idiot, dumb brother of mine would have a very beautiful woman like you as his wife! I guess you’ve been blinded by him.” Lay chuckles at his own last statement, and Jessica are blushing by the time Lay complimenting him as ‘beautiful’ woman.

“So what are you doing here Lay? Are you in your vacation? Do you want to drink anything? Let’s go upstairs.” Xiumin leading the way to the upstairs with Jessica and Seohyun tailing behind them. Then, Xiumin going down to make some drinks to four of them. He’s even put the ‘close’ sign in front of the door of their premises. Luckily, there wasn’t any customers around.

“Actually I come here to deliver Seohyun’s dress. I-I mean, yesterday we’re searching for her dress but there’s none that she likes.” Lay explaining to Jessica while Seohyun furrowing her eyebrow at his words. “Hello? Me don’t like that dress? Oh Puh-lease Zhang Yixing. You’re the one who doesn’t like those dresses.” She scoffs and leaning against the chair while crossing her arm by the time Xiumin arrives with his drink and pastries. The aroma of the cold drink together mixing with hot pastries has make Lay’s appetite goes higher to the edge of the top. And it is too bad for him when his stomach starts to grumble loudly. All of them looking at him suspiciously with those penetrating eyes before laughing it off.

“Oh Lay. Seriously? Do you have to make a scene here?” Xiumin asking him in disbelief before placing the tray on the table and serving their drinks. He, himself are putting his own self in a deep down of embarrassment. He’s digging his own grave.

“I’m sorry. I’m so hungry.” He pouts cutely make Jessica nudging Xiumin while stared at him sharply, for making the lad sulks. “A-aniyo… Naa, you can have it by yourself.” Xiumin offering him those pastries together with his sweet warm smile that could melt any hearts.

“Thank you hyung! Thank you for the foods!” Then, he ravenously gobbling up the pastries and begin to eat a pastry one by one. “I’m happy get to meet you again Lay-ah. I thought we never meet anymore.” Xiumin resting his fist under his chin and eyeing Lay with his longing eyes. Jessica and Seohyun are making a puke face at his statement.

“I heard just now you brought Seohyun’s dress. Where is it?” Lay are chewing his pastry hardly and swallowing in one go. “In my car, I will get it later. I’m very sure and confident that you will like it Seoh
