“Hyoyeon...”

Tiffany sighed and grabbed the younger blonde's hand, caressing the back of it as gently as she could. Yuri stayed silent, she wanted Hyoyeon and Taeyeon to at least keep their relationship as siblings. Although Taeyeon was a huge bastard towards Tiffany, she really cared for Hyoyeon as an elder sister.

“I'm sorry, Taeyeon. Let's go for a walk, shall we?” Yuri offered and Taeyeon nodded, biting her lips as she tried to keep her tears from rolling down her cheeks. 

Yuri and Taeyeon were walking towards the beach, which was located just across the road. Taeyeon remained silent and just walked blankly before feeling an arm wrap around her shoulder.

“Be careful, Taeyeon. I don't want anything to happen to you.” Yuri said and rubbed the older girl's shoulder, keeping Taeyeon as close to her as possible.

When the two plopped their butts on the soft sand beneath, Taeyeon couldn’t help but let her voice drop to a whisper, “Does she still hate me so much?” Yuri wriggled her toes into the sand, “To be honest, Taeyeon. Hyoyeon doesn't hate hate you. I know she misses you. Although she doesn't show it and talk to us about you, we know that she does. If you ever get hold of her wallet, you'll find a polaroid of the two of you together.”

Taeyeon felt slightly happier knowing that Hyoyeon had been missing her like she has been missing Hyoyeon too. The bond between sisters could never be broken. 

As the saying goes - Blood is thicker than water. 

“I hated you at first too. Not that I've forgiven you or anything but you haven't done much to me. When it's just you, and me I can be nice like I used to be. But when Fany is in the picture, I will treat you as an enemy. Forgive me for that.” Yuri admitted, playing with a wooden twig as she poked at the little crab trying to get out of the sand. 

Taeyeon chuckled and watched Yuri play with the crab in the sand like a little kid, “I understand. I was shocked at your behaviour too.”

The two kept silent for a while, playing with whatever they could find near them. Taeyeon had missed times like this, where Yuri and her just hung out without anyone else.

“How has she been, Yuri?”

Yuri chuckled, she was proud of Tiffany for getting back up on her own two feet when she was down in the rut. Tiffany had been through hell and back, yet she was now standing proud and tall. 

“So far so good. She went through a lot but she's up now. I'm proud of her.”

Taeyeon could feel her heart feeling more light as she heard those words from Yuri. She was glad that Tiffany was well taken care of when she heartlessly left her. 

Yuri whispered, “You miss her, don't you?” “How could I not?” Taeyeon laughed bitterly and buried her face into her knees, trying to hide her hurting heart and emotions from Yuri. 

Yuri wanted to ask why she had chosen Baekhyun over Tiffany but decided that taking things slow was best for now, maybe Taeyeon would change her mind soon. 

“Kim Hyoyeon.”

“Tiffany Hwang Miyoung.” 

Both best friends stared at each other with displeased glares, their arms crossed as they continued to stare at each other in a fix to make each other give up first. 

“Why were you so rude? You know she's technically older than you.” Tiffany nagged at the younger blonde, making sure Hyoyeon got it into her head. “So? She took that respect away with that pretty boy years ago.” Hyoyeon shrugged and waked towards her stereo speakers, turning on the music. 

Tiffany rolled her eyes and walked towards Hyoyeon, slamming her hand on the stereo to shut off the music. She wasn't going to let Hyoyeon and Taeyeon's relationship sour because of her. 

“Babe, what happened between me and her is a thing of the past. You need to stop living in the past before you can move on, right? I've moved on, you should too.”

Tiffany kissed Hyoyeon's forehead and walked out of the dance studio, heading back downstairs to join the remaining staff members. Hyoyeon looked after Tiffany before she took out her wallet, looking at the picture of Taeyeon and her when they were still kids. She ran her thumb over Taeyeon's face and caressed it lovingly, her tears starting to form at the corner of her eyes. 

“I miss you so much, Unnie...”

“Sica-ah! I've been waiting for you at the entrance for so long…” Yuri whined, finally seeing Jessica emerge from the club's entrance. 

Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped, Jessica took her breath away with that simple dress she was wearing. She was delighted to see how Jessica looked despite the fact that she was supposed to be a mere employee and nothing else. 

Jessica placed her hand in Yuri’s awaiting ones before shyly muttering, “Sorry, I was trying to find something to wear.” Jessica knew that Yuri was still staring at her and her heart leaped, feeling electricity travelling throughout her entire being. She liked it when Yuri gave her attention. 

Not like. 

She loved it. 

It didn’t take long for both of them to reach the car with Tiffany and Hyoyeon already comfortably leaning against. Tiffany’s eyes widened in surprise, “You look beautiful, Jessica!” Hyoyeon's eyes twinkled with glee and the 3 girls couldn't help but to stare at Jessica with dream gazes, she really did look wonderful that evening. 

“Hehe, thank you...”

“This car isn't mine, it's Hyoyeon's.”
