It was finally the weekend the time of parties, going out, and just having fun. Aejin, though, was stuck in her apartment, sitting on her couch, just staring into space, even ignoring the calls from Hongbin. She had no time to think about her missions . She couldn't stop thinking about that man; the man she saw at the apartment. She felt giddy, just by seeing him, and her heart beat started beating faster. Even just by thinking about him, her heart was already beating crazily.

          His big eyes and his deep voice was stuck in Aejin's head. The way he spoke to her made her float in the air. She didn't even understand what he was saying to her. At that time, Aejin felt like passing out, and the only thing that could help her was running away which she did. Even leaving her best friend behind, whom she later apologized to.

          It was something Aejin hasn't felt before, and if she was so simple minded, she'd knew it was him; the one whom she will spend the rest of her life with. If it was that simple, Aejin couldn't be happier to find the one she's supposed to love forever. But he was human; a mere mortal boy. She is a cupid, and not just any cupid. She was the granddaughter of Venus, the goddess of love, and the daughter of THE Cupid himself. She couldn't possibly be fated with a human.

          Aejin sighed as she stood up from her couch, brushing her thoughts away. He wasn't her mate. Her mate couldn't be human. She couldn't accept it.

          Her head was aching so bad. She needed something to make her feel better.

          Aejin grabbed a sweater, and swiftly wore it, hiding her black tank top. She pushed a pair of sandals on, and quickly went out of her apartment. She walked towards the nearest convenience store, which was a few streets away, and entered the said place. She looked around, looking for something to snack on. Aejin spotted the freezer at the corner of the store and walked towards it. She looked inside and was welcomed by different flavors of ice cream.

          "Hmmm… What flavor should I get?" She asked herself as she scanned the available flavors. After deciding on what flavor she was going to get, she grabbed a big tube of cookies and cream flavored ice cream and paid for it at the counter.

          Aejin then started walking home, with the ice cream in her hand. As she walked home, her mind started drifting back to Amor and how she missed the people there. She really missed Hongbin, whose calls she ignored.

          "Aejin!" She suddenly hear someone call her name. She stopped in her tracks and looked around for the person calling her. She then spots a woman who was waving her hand with a big smile on her face and a familiar man beside her

          "Oh, Minzy! How are you doing?" Aejin walked up to the couple and looked at their intertwined hands.

          "I'm doing great!" Minzy said gleefully, "Do you remember the guy I was talking about at the library?" She asked as she looked at the man beside her, "This is him, Jihyeong. We're getting married again!" She announced, excitement in her voice. At Minzy's announcement, Aejin couldn't help but have a big smile on her face.

          "That's great! Congratulations!" Aejin said and looked at the two of them.

          "Honey, do you remember the girl I was talking about?" Minzy asked Jihyeong, "The girl who really got me into my senses?" She continued, looking at the man beside her expectantly. Jihyeong thought for a while before he nodded his head.

          "That's her!" Minzy exclaimed as she pointed at Aejin, "She's the one who gave me so much advice." She said. At her statement, Jihyeong nodded in understanding and gave a thankful smile to Aejin.

          "Thank you! If it wouldn't have been for you, I probably wouldn't have the chance to be with the love of my life again." He thanked her.

          "No, it was nothing.", Aejin assured, "I was just trying to help a person in need." She said.

          "No, it wasn't ‘nothing’." Minzy countered, "If you didn't talk to me that day, there probably won't even be a wedding soon. That's why we want you to come to our wedding!" Minzy ended, her eyes turning to a crescent moon. Aejin suddenly beccame flustered.

          No, it wasn't that she didn't want to go to the wedding - she had to go even if she didn't want to or if she wasn't invited. It was because it was rare for her to get invited in her couples' weddings. She did get invited once, but that was only once. In her five years on earth, this was only the second time that she got invited to a wedding.

          At her silence, Minzy couldn't help but get worried.

          "I don't think you understand how much you mean to us, Aejin." Minzy said, her voice full of sincerity, "Without you, me and Jihyeong wouldn't be a couple again. We wouldn't be getting married again, and I would spend my whole life regretting that I let the love of my life go." She said, touching Aejin. Although she was quite wrong; Aejin knew how big she's done for them as a couple, not only to them, but to other couples as well. But it was rare that she would receive this much recognition for what she's done.

          "Without you, I wouldn't be able to hold her hand again, and look at her in the eyes." Jihyeong joined in, gazing at Minzy lovingly, who gazed at him back. Aejin just watched them look at each other awe. Just a few days ago, these two was probably in their worst state yet. Jihyeong was always zoning out while Minzy was getting drunk and depressed. Now, they looked like the happiest people in the world.

          "You really changed." Aejin suddenly blurted out, with a soft smile on her face. Minzy chuckled at her statement but agreed anyways.

          "It is funny." Minzy started, "I was such a wreck a few days ago and now I feel like I'm the happiest person in the world." She opened up, "But, I guess that's just how love works." She ended and looked straight at Aejin.

          "So, Aejin. Will you be joining us in our wedding?" Minzy asked, with a hopeful face. Aejin didn't need to think about it. She just nodded her head and made the couple in front of her cry in glee. It was then that Aejin decided to get back to her missions – not that she stopped doing them for months or anything.

          Aejin bid ‘goodbye’ to the couple and quickly walked back to her apartment. She placed the tube of ice cream in the freezer and quickly walked back to the living room. She grabbed her bag from the couch and took her mirror. She placed her hand on the mirror and retracted it when Hongbin’s face appeared.

          “It’s about time you call me.” He said as he glared Aejin.

          “Yeah, sorry I didn’t get to answer your calls.” Aejin apologized with a sheepish smile, “I was… busy.” She excused. Hongbin gave her a doubting look, not believing her words.

          “I finished my missions.” Aejin said, changing the subject, “Minzy and Jinhyeong are getting married again, and N and Ellin have broken up.” She informed with a big smile on her face.

          “Oh! I already found N’s mate.” She added, gleefully. Hongbin thought for a while before he nodded his head.

          “How is Hakyeon doing?” he asked, confusing Aejin.

          “Hakyeon? Who’s Hakyeon?” Aejin asked, her brows meeting. Hongbin rolled his eyes at Aejin’s confusion before he spoke.

          “You’re so ignorant. You don’t even know your classmate’s real name.” he said as he shook his head, “I even told you about him before.” He said and sighed. Aejin pouted at Hongbin’s word, but decided to ignore it and thought about who Hakyeon was.

          “He’s N, right?” Aejin, asked in realization. Hongbin nodded, making Aejin drop her head. How could she easily forget N’s real name? She was about to get mad at herself about how forgetful she was when a sudden thought entered her head.

          “Why are you concerned about N?” she asked, curious. It was normal for Hongbin to ask about her missions, but this time he asked about N specifically, even using N's real name. 

          “We were friends when I was on earth.” He sighed, shocking Aejin.

          “You had friends on earth?” Aejin said, jokingly, making Hongbin glare at her. Aejin chuckled at his reaction. No, Hongbin wasn’t that bad. He was a straightforward and serious, but he was also nice and caring. It was his serious attitude that Aejin enjoyed. She liked his reaction whenever she . She found it quite cute.

          After finding out about Hongbin and N’s friendship, Aejin couldn’t help but wonder what Hongbin was like on earth. She didn’t know much about Hongbin. All that she knew was that he was born as a cupid and was assigned on earth but came back to Amor and became a guardian instead. She didn’t know why he left earth. She didn’t even know if he already found his mate or not. She wanted to ask him about his life, but her thoughts was cut when Hongbin spoke.

          “You should come to Amor. Your father wants to see you.” He informed, making all of Aejin's thought about interrogating Hongbin disappear. Aejin sighed before she nodded and packed her bag, having no choice. She couldn’t keep her father waiting.

          She wore her backpack and held a red coin in her hand. She flicked the coin to the air and watched as a portal appeared in place of the coin. She took a deep breath before she entered the portal. In a flash, she was at Amor. She looked around and noticed the gates were open. She sighed as she walked past the gates, a smile appearing on her face as she felt the soft texture of the clouds on her feet. Aejin looked up and spotted a man standing by the small house. She instantly smiled as the man smiled at her.

          “Aejin, you’re back!” Himchan exclaimed, as he ran towards Aejin and gave her a tight hug. Aejin chuckled at the older man and only shook her head.

          “Where’s my father?” Aejin asked when Himchan ended the hug.

          “In his office, of course. You know he doesn’t leave that place until he really has to.” Himchan informed her. Aejin nodded and placed her red coin inside
