“No! Don’t crack the egg that way!” Chanyeol’s deep voice echoed around the whole apartment. Chanyeol frantically takes the broken egg shell from Aejin’s hand and took a new one, causing Aejin to groan for the nth time that day.

          “You have to do it slowly or else the egg whites will get too messy.” He instructed and carefully broke the egg whites on the cooking pan where the egg sat perfectly. A satisfied smile appeared on Chanyeol’s face as he looked at his masterpiece while Aejin could only roll her eyes at the man.

          They were currently at Chanyeol’s apartment having their ‘tutor’ session. Chanyeol’s apartment was quite big, surprising Aejin. It was bigger than her apartment, though it did make sense since he was in fact sharing an apartment with Taecyeon. Aejin used to share an apartment with her brother as well, but they didn't really need the space unlike Taecyeon and Chanyeol.

          In the living room, there was a set of instruments that Aejin figured was for Chanyeol's band's practices. Expectedly, the living room would be too crowded, but somehow a treadmill and a few exercising machines were squeezed at another side of the living room, and a tv with a couch fitted as well. Just by looking at Taecyeon, Aejin could tell that he worked out, but she never really thought about Chanyeol. All she ever seen Chanyeol wear was his school uniform.

          At the thought of Chanyeol's clothes, Aejin secretly looked at Chanyeol in curiosity. He was wearing a black plain shirt and a pair of sweats with an apron above his clothes. Her eyes trailed to Chanyeol's arms. His arms were quite well sculpted and it did look like he worked out. Aejin blushed at the thought of Chanyeol working out; The thought of Chanyeol lifting weights was too much for Aejin, and even in her imagination, Chanyeol looked good.

          “Do it again.” Chanyeol ordered, bringing Aejin back to reality. Chanyeol nudgjed Aejin closer to the pan, urging her to redo her work. Throughout their lesson, Chanyeol kept on touching and doing skinship with Aejin. At first, it caught Aejin off guard and caused her to stutter and blush. But as time passed, she got comfortable with it and learned to control her beating heart.

          “Do I really have to do this again?” Aejin whined as she looked at the dozens of ‘failed eggs’ she’s done, “I’ve fried eggs before. I don’t think I’d have to fry them too perfectly just to pass Home Economics.” She pointed out, glaring at Chanyeol.

          From all the things they could’ve studied, Chanyeol chose to start with something too simple as frying eggs. Aejin tried to make Chanyeol change his mind but Chanyeol has already decided, and according to him, frying eggs was the basic in cooking and that he had to make sure that Aejin did it well. They have been frying eggs for the past two hours, boring both Aejin and Yunha.

          Yunha had unwillingly joined Aejin and Chanyeol in their crusade. Yunha was just about to reject Aejin's 'offer' until Aejin laid out her puppy eyes. Aejin rarely used her 'puppy eyes'; She would usually use it whenever she really wants something or she has something to do in mind. Yunha didn't know what Aejin was thinking, but she didn't have the strength to reject Aejin's puppy eyes, which was simply why she was currently at Chanyeol's apartment, watching the two just bickering and fighting.

          "This is so boring!" Aejin complained as Chanyeol placed a spatula on her hand, "Are you serious?" she glared at the smiling boy.

          "You have to do this! It's not that hard, really." Chanyeol pointed out as he placed his hands on his hips, and gave Aejin a pointed look.

          "It's really not that's why I don't see why I have to do this again and again." Aejin complained, once again.

          "It's because you can't do it right even though it's easy." Chanyeol retorted. Aejin's mind was about to blow up. What did it take to win against this guy?

          Aejin's gaze travelled to Yunha and saw how bored her friend was. She was just sitting at one of the stools with her hand on her chin, and was just staring out into space. Aejin brought Yunha with her to make Yunha and Taecyeon bond, but when they arrived at Chanyeol's apartment, Taecyeon was nowhere in sight.

          "Think about Yunha!" Aejin said, causing Yunha's head to shot up, "Can't you see she's dying of boredom?" Aejin pointed out, causing Chanyeol to look at Yunha. Yunha just stared back at Chanyeol in silence, not really wanting to say anything. Chanyeol had a complicated expression on his face as if he was really thinking about something.

          "I wasn't the one who invited her!" Chanyeol spat back as he looked at Aejin. Though Aejin hated his guts right now, Chanyeol was right. She was already feeling guilty for bringing Yunha along, but she was still hoping that Taecyeon would suddenly come home so Yunha's boredom wouldn't be so useless.

          "You--" Aejin was about to talk back until they heard the front door open. Chanyeol looked at the door, hearing it open as well.

          "Why are there women shoes here?" they heard someone mutter. Hearing the familiar voice, Aejin smiled and thanked the gods for her luck.

          "Chanyeol!" the voice called. Both Yunha and Aejin looked at Chanyeol in reflex.

          "I'm in the kitchen!" Chanyeol shouted back, causing Aejin to jump at the loudness of his voice. It was only then that Aejin realized how close she and Chanyeol was. Just a small move would cause the both of them to be stuck to each other.

          "Why are there--?" a tall and well sculpted man entered the kitchen and stopped in his tracks when he saw the mess in the kitchen. Broken eggs were everywhere and cooked eggs were scattered around the place.

          "Hey, Taecyeon hyung." Chanyeol greeted the man. Aejin took the chance to step away from Chanyeol and drop the spatula in her hand.

          "What happened here?" Taecyeon asked as he cautiously stepped in and looked aroud the room.

          "Tutoring." Chanyeol answered as he sheepishly pointed at Aejin. Aejin, on the other hand, was too busy watching Yunha. She was waiting for a pull or any reaction from her friend, but Yunha was only watching the scene in front of her with a blank look on her face.

          Taecyeon glanced at Aejin, causing Chanyeol to look at her as well. Chanyeol noticed that Aejin's gaze was at Yunha, probably worried for her friend. It was then when an idea popped in Chanyeol's head.

          "Hey hyung." he called the older, causing Taecyeon to look at him, "This is Aejin's friend, Yunha." he introduced. Taecyeon looked at Yunha and smiled at her, which Yunha returned. Aejin looked at Chanyeol in curiosity, not knowing what he was planning.

          "Why don't you show her around the apartment or something? Aejin's distracted when she's here, and i'm sure she's bored." Chanyeol said, making Yunha jump in her seat.

          "Yes please!" Yunha said in excitement, and looked at Taecyeon, "Please, please. It's really boring watching them cook eggs repeatedly and bicker like an old couple." she pleaded. At her friend's plea, Aejin couldn't help but roll her eyes and shake her head, but she was still quite happy at the possibility of Yunha and Taecyeon getting to know each other.

          Taecyeon chuckled at Yunha and looked at Aejin and Chanyeol. Aejin was looking away from Chanyeol, and was just looking around the kitchen, while Chanyeol was just looking at Taecyeon, waiting for his reply. Somehow, Taecyeon knew that there was more than what he was seeing. Aejin and Chanyeol was even standing comfortably close to each other, more close than what Aejin had thought of.

          "Sure." Taecyeon said causing Yunha to jump on her spot in delight.

          "Yes! Thank you!" Yunha chimed making Taecyeon chuckle again. Aejin on the other hand, was quite happy as well. Bringing Yunha with her was the right thing to do, and she couldn't help but be happy that Yunha and Taecyeon had a chance to get to know each other. Her plan worked. Her plan worked with Chanyeol's help.

          "Well then, let's get out of here before they bore me to death too." Taecyeon joked, causing Yunha to chuckle. Aejin and Chanyeol both rolled their eyes at Taecyeon's joke. Yunha picked up her things and Taecyeon let her pass the door first.

          "Aejin, just call me when you're done with your tutoring." Yunha said and walked away.

          "I'll see you guys later." Taecyeon said, waving to both Chanyeol and Aejin, before following Yunha out. Aejin watched the two of them leave together, with a smile on her face, totally ignoring the man beside her.

          "Let's continue." Chanyeol said and placed Aejin's 'failed egg' on another plate before putting it beside the other 'failed eggs'. Chanyeol was about to give the spatula to Aejin, once again, when Aejin didn't budge.

          "Aejin." Chanyeol called her, "Aejin." he called once again. Aejin stayed at her spot and kept on watching Taecyeon and Yunha, who was still lingering at the living room.

          Chanyeol sighed, unable to grab Aejin's attention. He looked at what, or whom, Aejin was looking at and his eyebrows met in confusion. Was she really that protective over her best friend? Chanyeol couldn't understand what Aejin was thinking, but right at the moment, he needed to get her to focus on their lesson.

          Chanyeol looked around the kitchen and spotted a bar of butter. He looked at Aejin before he took a scoop of butter with his finger and quickly dabbed it on Aejin's cheek. He quickly wiped his finger and looked away as Aejin jumped on her spot. Her face scrunched up as she wiped the butter away from her face and glared at Chanyeol.

          "Why did you do that?" Aejin asked, weirded out by the boy's actions.

          "Did what?" Chanyeol lamely lied. Aejin rolled her eyes and brought out her hand full of butter.

          "Wiped butter on my face." Aejin pointed out. Chanyeol looked at her innocently, as if he didn't do anything, and shook his head.

          "I don't know what you're talking about." he said. Aejin scoffed at the man in front of her. Was he really pretending to not know at that moment?

          Aejin just stared at Chanyeol, waiting for him to tell the truth. Chanyeol just looked away and pretended to be busy by looking at the ingredients in front of him.
