"Freedom!" Yunha exclaimed as she and Aejin walked out of their classroom. Jaeyoon was waiting right outside and quickly joined her friends in walking towards their lockers.

"So, how are you going to spend your three day vacation?" Yunha asked her friends in an excited manner. It wasn't just a normal school day. Today was their last day of school before their three day break, something that most students are excited for.

The hallway was rowdy as students rushed to get out of their classrooms and leave the school. Most were planning to spend their vacation out of town, in the city, and some even have booked a flight to another country. Though unlike most students, some decided to just stay at home and study.

"I thought you guys were going to Jeju Island?" Aejin asked recalling her previous conversation with her friends.

"We decided we couldn't go without you. It just wouldn't be that fun with just the two us." Jaeyoon answered flashing a smile at her friend while Yunha nodded in agreement. At that moment, Aejin's heart softened.

Aejin had mixed feelings with her friends' actions. She was thankful yet she felt guilty at the same time. Aejin didn't want herself to be the reason that her friends aren't able to go to exciting places, but at the same time she was thankful that her friends had even thought of her.

"Besides, something came up and I have to visit my grandparents this three day break." Jaeyoon revealed and suddenly looked at Yunha, "How about you? What do you plan on doing?" She asked her friend.

"Uh," a sheepish smile found its way onto Yunha's face as she hesitated to answer. Aejin and Jaeyoon looked at each other in curiousity before returning their gazes at their friend.

"Just like you guys, I’m going to spend time with my family!" Yunha finally answered, her eyes looking away from her friends. Jaeyoon raised a brow at her friend's actions, but decided not to question her.

"So-" before Aejin could continue her sentence, Yunha spoke once again.

"I'm actually in a rush right now. I have to fix some stuff at home." She said, her eyes darting everywhere except at her friends, "I'll see you guys in five days!" She finally met her friends’ eyes as she waved goodbye before quickly running out to the exit.

"Bye." Aejin unsurely called as she waved at her friend. Yunha fidgeted so much, as if she was hiding something. Aejin knew it better than anyone as she herself hid many secrets.

"I wonder what's up with Yunha. She's acting a bit... Weird." Aejin opened up as she and Jaeyoon arrived at their lockers.

"Her family is probably travelling to some place far for her to be that excited." Jaeyoon commented, "Paris? London? Greece? Probably somewhere along those lines." she listed as she opened her locker. Yunha’s family has always been fond of luxurious things. They loved going to amazing places, where usually only wealthy people go to.

“Anyway,” Jaeyoon changed the topic, “You’re going to Busan?” she asked as she placed her books inside her locker.

“I am.” Aejin nodded and crossed her arms.

“But not with your brother?” Jaeyoon asked with an eyebrow raised.

“Of course not.” Aejin sighed deeply and leaned on the locker beside Jaeyoon’s. It was already a rare thing for her to see her brother, and her going on a vacation with her brother was impossible. Aejin understood that her brother was busy. Both of them were given tasks that required their full attention, but a part of Aejin still wished to see her brother. Aejin had said numerous lies for her mission. From all the lies she has told, the one about her brother coming with her to Busan was the only lie that she wished was true.

“It’s Cupid stuff…” Aejin said, her mind drifting to what might welcome her there. She has been to Busan before, but every mission was different.

Aejin had been to numerous places in South Korea. Some gave her beautiful memories while some gave her bad ones. There came a few chances where she went to one place numerous times for different missions. Throughout those missions, the memories she had of a certain place kept on changing. One day she could have a bad memory at one place, yet have the best memories on another. Everything was a mystery to Aejin.

“I wish I could come with you to Busan to help, but I need to go home to grandparents for a Sorcerer’s Ritual.” Jaeyoon said, finally closing her locker and facing her friend. Jaeyoon’s grandmother was also a witch, like her. Her parents, on the other hand, were not. Jaeyoon was part of a Coven, her grandparents’ coven, where they trained to become a better Sorcerer. They perform rituals from time to time to honor the Gods that gave them their abilities.

“It’s okay.” Aejin said, “I’m used to fulfilling my missions alone anyway, although help would be nice.” She assured her friend. For years, the only help Aejin has got in her missions was from Hongbin. She was already used to doing everything alone.

“But,” Aejin quickly said, causing Jaeyoon to look at her in anticipation, “I could use your help right now.” She revealed, an awkward smile appearing on her face. Jaeyoon raised a brow at her friend, not sure what Aejin was going to ask from her.

“What kind of help?” Jaeyoon asked, hoping that her friend wouldn’t ask her to do something weird.

“I need you to distract Chanyeol.” Aejin answered. Jaeyoon couldn’t help but chuckle at her friend’s words, while Aejin just glared at her friend with no sign of amusement.

“What? You haven’t even told him that you had plans?” Jaeyoon asked, still chuckling.

"I did!” Aejin groaned, her hand flying up to her head, causing Jaeyoon to laugh even more.

“I already told him when we went to visit Taeyeon, and ever since then he wouldn’t stop bugging me.” She continued, recalling how Chanyeol had followed her around for the last few days. In every chance he got, Chanyeol followed Aejin around the school, forcing her to clear her plans for their lesson. Aejin never told Chanyeol her plans for the three-day break. Chanyeol would have asked too many questions if she told him that she was going to Busan on their vacation days.

"So, what exactly do you want me to do?” Jaeyoon asked with a smirk on her face. Aejin was perfectly aware to the reason why Jaeyoon was smirking. It wasn't because Aejin needed her, but because Aejin needed Jaeyoon because of Chanyeol.

"I am ninety-nine percent sure that Chanyeol is already at the gate looking for me." Aejin sighed, remembering how he had waited for her for the past days.

"How sweet." Jaeyoon teased and Aejin couldn't help but scoff. Aejin would've enjoyed Chanyeol's company if only he didn't pester her so much about the three-day break. It only irritated her, seeing how Chanyeol could get in the way of her missions.

"We only need to do what we did when we snuck out to see Taeyeon." Aejin explained, "You just have to distract him while I sneak out of the gate." She ended, her eyes pleading for her friend to help her. Jaeyoon sighed seeing her friend. Weak was not a word to describe Aejin, and Jaeyoon perfectly knew it, but seeing her friend act the way she was, Jaeyoon knew that Aejin really needed her help.

"How are you even sure that he'll fall for the same act?" Jaeyoon said, unsure of her friend's plan, "Don't you Cupids have some sort of distraction magic?" She asked, finding the power to be helpful at their current situation.

"No, we don't have those things. We only possess powers that have to do with Love." Aejin groaned, finding her abilities useless for the first time.

"Fine, then. I'll distract him for you." Jaeyoon finally gave in, causing a bright smile to appear on Aejin' face, "I'll do my best to distract him." She said, having a plan in mind. On the other hand, Aejin could only smile. She had full trust in her friend. Jaeyoon was a smart girl and she was quite mischevious as well. Aejin had no doubt that Jaeyoon would easily distract Chanyeol.

"Well then," Aejin said with a bright smile on her face, "Let's go!" She chimed as she gripped on her backpack straps and started walking out of the building. Jaeyoon could only sigh and follow her friend.

The hallway was now almost empty with only a few students by their lockers. Just as they got out of their school building, Aejin quickly hid behind the same tree she has hid before. Jaeyoon just looked at her friend before she shifted her eyes to the gate. Just as Aejin had predicted, Chanyeol was already there waiting for her. Jaeyoon slowly walked towards Chanyeol and just when she was a few feet away from him, Chanyeol noticed her presence.

"Jaeyoon." Chanyeol greeted, his arms crossing in suspicion.

"Chanyeol." Jaeyoon greeted back with a confident smile.

"Where's Aejin?" Chanyeol asked, his voice demanding.

"Uh, I don't know." Jaeyoon scratched her head, acting as if she wasn't sure where her friend was, "I think I saw her at her classroom. You should probably check there." She said with an innocent smile. Chanyeol raised a brow and shifted on his spot, not buying Jaeyoon's words.

"You've already tricked me last time. What makes you think you'll be able to trick me again?" Chanyeol confidently said. Chanyeol wasn't too foolish to fall for the same trick twice, and Jaeyoon knew that as well.

"I knew you wouldn't get tricked again." Jaeyoon revealed, surprising Chanyeol, "Aejin is at the library. She’s studying right now so she could catch up on lessons.” She said, crossing her arms, but Chanyeol still didn’t look convinced.

“I could accompany you there, if you want. I need to talk to her anyways.” She offered.

Chanyeol hesitated. He was sure he couldn’t trust Jaeyoon. It wasn’t something personal, but in the situation at hand, he wasn’t quite sure if Jaeyoon spoke the truth.

“Fine.” Chanyeol gave in with an irritated look. Somehow, he knew he was being played by Jaeyoon, but he had no other choice as well. Only Jaeyoon knew where Aejin really was.

With heavy strides, Chanyeol started walking towards the school building. Jaeyoon couldn’t help but smirk at her success and looked at Aejin, who was still hiding behind the tree, before following Chanyeol. Aejin shifted around the tree as Chanyeol came closer, making sure she was out of his sight. Once Chanyeol was inside the building, Jaeyoon looked back at Aejin once again. Aejin mouthed a ‘thank you’ to her friend, and Jaeyoon brought her thumb up in response before she completely disappeared inside the building.

Seeing Chanyeol and Jaeyoon were completely inside the school building, Aejin quickly came out from behind the tree and ran out of the school gate. She quickly went to her apartment and packed everything she needed for her trip. On the other hand, Chanyeol and Jaeyoon have just entered the library. Just as they entered the room, Chanyeol immediately knew that he had just gotten tricked by Jaeyoon once again.

“Alright, where is she?” Chanyeol sighed as he faced Jaeyoon. The library was completely empty, and not even the librarian was in sight. This was as expected though, seeing that no student had plans on studying at school on their vacation day.

“I knew my trick wouldn’t work on you, so I used a new one.”  Jaeyoon said with a sly smile. She knew Chanyeol wouldn’t believe her unless she went with him to look for Aejin. It was all part of her not-so-complicated plan.

“Why did I even believe you?”  Chanyeol could only groan in frustration. He didn’t even know why he trusted Jaeyoon. He didn’t really know her that much and the day they formally met, she had tricked him. Jaeyoon watched him in amusement.

“Why do you want to find her so badly, anyway?” Jaeyoon asked, curious to why Chanyeol spends so much time and effort looking for Aejin.

“She’s failing her Home Economics class. I have to get her get a good grade, and I won’t be able to do that if she keeps on running away from me.” he said as he ran a hand on his hair in frustration.

"It's just home economics. It's no big deal." Jaeyoon shrugged, voicing out her thoughts.

"Aejin can't even fry an egg properly!" Chanyeol fought.

I dont get why Hongbin keep on asking Aejin to be careful of Jaeyoon just because she a witch. I really hope Baekyeon will somehow resolve their issues. More fluff? Yay.
I wonder will Chanyeol ever discover that Aejin is actually a cupid in the future chapters as the story progress.
