“Look at them.” Cupid sighed, as he watched the couple, “You did it, Aejin. You, once again, brought happiness to two people.” He said, and glanced at his daughter, who was also watching with a smile.

          “I can’t believe it. “ Aejin gleamed, “They loved each other for twenty years! I never knew that love could go that long.” She said with amazement in her voice.

          The couple that Aejin recently worked on were childhood friends, who were friends ever since they were five years old. They grew up together and shared each other’s life. By the time they went to college, the two lost their communication and had to be apart. It was then that the mission was given to Aejin. She had to help the couple and make sure they get their happily ever after. At first, it was tough for Aejin. The couple was busy with their own business, but somehow, Aejin got them to meet again. Soon, the two fell back in love giving Aejin, now, the chance to watch the couple exchange their vows.

          “What are you saying? I’d never thought to hear those words of doubt from you.” Cupid said, surprised, “Who would have expected to hear the daughter of cupid doubt love?” he joked. Aejin glared at her father, earning a chuckle from him.

          “I’m not doubting love.” She said, “It’s just that I haven’t experienced it yet.” She confessed, biting her lip. Cupids were prohibited to fall in love, until they turn eighteen at least. Usually, when cupids turn eighteen, they find their match immediately. But in Aejin’s case, even after a year she turned eighteen had passed, she still hasn’t found the one for her.

         Cupid sighed and patted his daughter’s back, comforting her.

          “Don’t worry, Aejin. You’ll find the one for you soon.” He assured her, “You haven’t been able to go around Amor in a while.” He pointed out. Amor. It was their world; the world of cupids. The world full of clouds. The world of love.

          Aejin was sent to earth when she was only fourteen to take charge of the happenings on earth. She was given a few test missions, at first, to see if she could handle the missions being given to her. They made her make two people be friends, fight, cry, smile, and even fall in love. After succeeding the test missions, she was then assigned to Seoul, South Korea. She has completed tons of missions in her five years on earth and, somehow, lost time to spend at her own world.

          “Maybe we should set up a gathering so you could meet others here at Amor.” Cupid suggested, “Your match is around here, somewhere. You just haven’t had the chance to meet him yet.” He said. Aejin could only shake her head, knowing that no matter what her father say, no gathering will be held. Cupid wasn't quite a man of his word and he was very busy with all the happenings on earth and on Amor. The God of Love is quite busy indeed. She doubted that such gathering will take place.

          “That would be hard to do since I’m pretty busy on earth.” Aejin pointed out, “I have too many responsibilities there.” She said, and gave her father a quick hug.

          Aejin took a good look at her father. He had a bright strawberry blonde hair on top his youthful and godly appearance. His eyes were like half crescent moons, his nose quite pointy and his lips almost the shape of a heart. His body was perfectly sculpted as if the most idealist people sculpted his body. He had a youthful appearance and if people from earth could see him, they wouldn't be able to tell that he was her father. 

          “Speaking of responsibilities, I have to go back now for my Archery practice.” She said and started walking to the gate of Amor, until Cupid spoke up.

          “Aejin.” He called. Aejin looked back at him and gave him a small smile. Cupid smiled back.

          “You’re doing a great job.” He said and gave her a proud look. Aejin nodded and thanked her father before she continued walking towards the gate of Amor, playing with the clouds on her feet. She walked towards a small house, right next to the gate, and looked inside a square opening. She patted the shoulder of the man inside the house and held her palm out.

         “My coin, please, Himchan.” She said to the man inside the house. Himchan looked up and scrunched his face after seeing Aejin. 

          “You’re leaving already?” he asked as he looked through the box of coins in front of him.

          “Yeah. I’m done talking with my father.” She informed and smiled when he held out a red coin.

          “Thank you!” she said and she quickly snatched the coin away from him. She glanced at the gate and quickly looked back to Himchan when she saw that the gate was closed.

          “Please open the gate.” Aejin said as she pointed her fingers to the closed gate. Himchan sighed and stubbornly shook his head, making Aejin frown.

          “No.” he said, “You don’t even stay here anymore. Now, you’re leaving again, so quick!” he whined, a pout forming on his face. Aejin couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the man in front of her. He was far older than her, yet he was acting like a pre-school kid. Himchan possessed a short dark red hair along with a small pair of eyes. He had a slightly muscular body, enough to know that he took well care of his body. If others looked at him, he would seem quite intimidating but his current expression made him no near what others might think of him.

          “I have to go, Himchan.” Aejin sighed, “I have a lot of duties on earth. I can’t stay too long here at Amor.” She said.

          “What duties are you talking about?” a voice suddenly asked, making Aejin turn around, “You didn’t visit me for your so-called duties. How will you do your duties if you don’t even know about them?” a tall dark haired man said as he approached them.

          “Oh yeah, I forgot. Sorry, Hongbin.” Aejin sheepishly said with a guilty face - although it didn't give Hongbin the impression that she was guilty.

          Hongbin was Aejin’s guardian. He gave her all her missions and helped her fulfill it. He has been with her even since she first went to earth. They have been working together for five years now. Before Aejin turned eighteen, she had hoped that Hongbin will be her match. She couldn’t help but fall for his sincere and hardworking personality. Although he may be cold and mean to her at times, she knew that he’s only taking care of her. Hongbin is also known as one of the most attractive men in Amor with his detailed features and great built. Aejin was truly disappointed when she turned eighteen and found out that he wasn’t her match.

          “How could you leave Amor without knowing your missions?” Hongbin asked as he handed Aejin two folders. Aejin quickly took both of it and opened the one on top, not bothering to answer the older's question.

          “Since you’ve recently handled a couple far from you,” he started, pertaining to the couple whom Aejin just handled - probably knowing that Aejin wasn't going to answer his question, “We’ve given you two couples who resides just near you.” He said, earning a sigh of relief from Aejin.

          “Finally!” Aejin cried in delight, “Do you know how hard it is to make two people, who lives so far away from you, fall in love?” she asked. Hongbin raised an eyebrow at Aejin and nodded.

          “I do.” He answered, “I’ve been to earth before and set couples up, just like you.” He said. Hongbin was, once, just like Aejin. He was sent to earth to take charge of the couples there. But for some reason, Hongbin was reassigned and was given a job as a guardian instead. Aejin had no clue why nor did she find the need to know why. She didn't give it much attention. 

          “Anyway,” he continued, “The first couple is a divorced couple who lives around your neighbourhood. Kim Jihyeong and Choi Minzy.” He said and pointed to a picture of a couple,“They’ve been married for two years but filed for divorce. The girl has been married to a few guys already, but she isn’t supposed to be married again. This guy is already her match.” He explained and switched the positions of the two folders

          “Next couple is a couple at your school. Cha Hakyeon and Kim Minyoung, or also known as N and Ellin.” He said and pointed to two pictures. One picture was of a brown haired boy with dark skin. The other was a picture of a blonde haired girl.

          “Oh, this Hakyeon guys looks really handsome.” Aejin said as she stared at the photo of the guy with wide eyes. Hongbin couldn't help but scoff and roll his eyes, seeing Aejin stare at the picture of the guy. He quickly closed the folder, startling Aejin.

          “N is not for you.” He pointed out, making Aejin pout, “He’s also not for this girl. He’s for someone else.  That’s why you have to break them up.” He said and let go of the folders.

          “Why can’t we let them be together, for now?” Aejin asks as she looks up curiously at Hongbin.

          “They can’t be together for too long.” Hongbin sighed and looked back at Aejin, “If they stay together, they might not meet their true matches.” He explained before looking through the opening of the house.

          “Himchan, open the gate.” He ordered. Himchan pouted and was about to object until Hongbin glared at him.

          “Now.” Hongbin said, sternly. Himchan sighed before obliging to Hongbin’s orders. Aejin could only chuckle and shake her head. Hongbin was younger that Himchan, yet Hongbin could easily boss Himchan around.

          The closed gates slowly opened and Aejin quickly walked towards the gate, with Hongbin following her.

          “Here.” Hongbin said as Aejin stepped out of the gate. He brought out a silver hand mirror and handed it to Aejin.

          “You fixed it!” Aejin exclaimed as she took the mirror away from his grasp.

          “I did, so be careful next time. Don’t break it again.” He warned. Aejin placed the mirror on her chest, and hugged it
