  "So let me get this straight," Kai rubbed his temples, heaving a deep sigh of frustration.  "you think that there are spirits who are trying to talk to Dana through her nightmares?"    Lara flipped the pages of her ancient grimoire as she casually nibbled on a carrot. "Don't give me that disbelieving tone, mister. It's true. Okay now Dana, I need you to repeat every step of that nightmare."   Dana calmly regurgitated the memory of the hooded shadows and the vampire who kidnapped the little boy.   "And this all started the moment you walked through that meadow?" Lara probed as she stopped flipping to stare at the new addition to the pack. Dana weakly nodded and the great witch immediately reached for some herbs on her shelf.   "I may or may not be accurate in my prediction," she started as she grabbed her mixing bowl and ignited the bunsen. "but it seems as though that meadow, unlocked a part of your memory which you were made to forget. And whoever casted that spell, was trying to keep you away from the evil spirits and dark circles.Thats what's causing your riptides."   Lara slammed her book shut the moment she finished mixing her concoction, pointing to the cross symbol on the dark leather cover of the grimoire. "Are you sure, you saw this sign?"    Dana swallowed hard before nodding curtly. Lara huffed out loud before biting her lip in contemplation. "If I hadn't known any better, I would've thought you and I were born sisters of the Blood Circle." Lara averted her gaze back to the mixture and poured some into a cup, offering it to Dana   "Drink this, it'll link me to your memories. I'll be able to access everything of your past." Dana stared at the cup blankly, trepidation overwhelming every nerve fibre in her body. A warm touch sizzled Dana back to reality and she peered up into Kai's dark eyes. They glistened with encouragement. He wanted the best for his mate and he knew that Lara would be of great help to her. Dana didn't need second thoughts, she needed reassurance; and Kai wanted her to feel it with his presence.    Dana placed the rim of the cup between her lips. She downed the liquid in three big gulps and shut her eyes tightly. Lara drank the remaining liquid in the pot and touched the younger's temples, linking them together. Dana felt her head spin.
